Table on 10th - Grocery

Table on 10th

I'm visiting from out of town but I believe you get what you pay for and Table on 10th is worth it…read more Some people mentioned the prices being high or that there weren't enough pastry options. It may not be quite farm to table, but the food is fresh, made to order, and hands down the best quality within 20 miles. I've tried six different dishes here and every single one has been a success. My only complaint is that their daily specials are so good you wish they would put them on the regular menu. The first time I came, I had a chicken cordon bleu that I've been craving ever since, but it was a one-time special. For those who say it too expensive, remember this isn't processed fast food. If you want cheap, processed fast food, Plainview has plenty of options. But if you want something crafted with intention and worth savoring, this is the place. The time, energy, and effort they put into making these meals from scratch is exactly why they are worth the price. Maybe it's not something you'd eat every day if you are on a tight budget, but it is definitely a treat when you do. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is cute and cozy with both indoor and outdoor seating. It gives you the option of a romantic date night vibe or a warm and welcoming family dinner. Cheaper usually means less healthy and less fresh. The food here is made with care and it shows. I 10 out of 10 highly recommend giving it a try.

This a fairly good restaurant working to get better. I wish they would offer other kinds of…read moredesserts. They serve cupcakes and a few simple cookies.they sometimes offer cakes that are really good. Need creme burlee, or mile high pies or something big city . Salt on chocolate is over, but the chocolate. Chip cookies are good The entries go from amazing to plain. Chicken breast with truffle oil and Rice Pilaf was boring. Very plain. I think it was stroganoff or other eastern European meat dish was amazing. It was served without rice or noodles as is customary. Just flat on the plate. What am I supposed to stop up that wonderful sauce with! I ask you! I keep going back because I can see them improving.

Blue Sky Texas was a decent burger place…read more There are two locations as of April 25, 2026 in Lubbock, TX. This one is on the north side of town close to Texas Tech University. The parking lot was packed. I had to park kind of near the smelly dumpster and an unsightly view of a trashy lake or pond. So when my daughters and I walked in, we were not greeted. We snaked around the long horizontal pole meant to form a line. The chick at the register did not to be in that position. She was not nice. Did not listen. Was not courteous. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready. Your receipt will show the same number that should pop up on the number readers either above the meal counter or in the dining room near a TV. Here's what we ordered: Green chile cheeseburger ($11.49) Cheeseburger mayo only ($10.99) Bacon cheeseburger with ketchup added ($12.99) Large fries ($4.99) Small fried jalapenos ($5.79) 2 regular fountain drinks (2 @ $2.89) The patties were fairly thick. My daughter received several pieces of bacon on her burger. She was happy about that. The green chile was definitely on the very mild side. I loved it, but the juices saturated my burger when I dumped the cup on there. Soggy burgers are not fun. My bad. I didn't count that against them. The fries were really good. The jalapenos had a kick! The Coca Cola was super flat. My daughter let me try it when I was shocked by her admission about it. Lol. The dining rooms can get a bit loud. I could not hear my kids half of the time. Felt like an old timer. But it could have been that we sat between the food counter where you pick up your food tray and the soda fountains. Congested! It was the only table available at the time! Still, the entire staff seemed a bit moody. I did not appreciate that. The restrooms were decently cleaned. Overall, though, I don't think I'll be back.

Wowza - what an experience !…read more La Diosa is one of those places that immediately pulls you out of whatever mood you walked in with and drops you somewhere entirely different--in the best way. From the moment you step inside, it feels less like a restaurant and more like an old-world café, wine cellar, art gallery, and lounge all layered into one eclectic, soulful space. The interior is stunning and thoughtfully chaotic in a way that works: exposed beams, hanging lanterns and star lights, rich colors, Frida-inspired art, mismatched tables, velvet chairs, communal seating, tucked-away corners, and rooms that feel like they were meant for lingering conversations. Every turn gives you something new to look at, whether it's a massive art installation overhead, a wall of wine, or a cozy lounge setup that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Food-wise, tapas and paella are the stars here. This is the kind of menu that encourages sharing, ordering a few things, sipping wine, and letting the night unfold. The chalkboard sign lets you know what they're proud of--and it shows. Pair that with their wine selection and you're set. There's also live music on certain nights, which fits the space perfectly. After a certain hour it shifts into a 21+ vibe, and it truly feels like the place comes alive in the evening--dim lighting, music, conversation, and that intimate, almost transportive energy. La Diosa isn't rushed, flashy, or trying to be trendy. It's warm, artistic, and unapologetically itself. Come here when you want an experience, not just a meal. It's ideal for a date night, a long catch-up with friends, or anyone who appreciates atmosphere just as much as what's on the table.

Now to the food and beverage side. The menu offers wine only, which isn't ideal, but I understand that's a choice every owner has to make. The meatballs were clearly pre-made and then reheated in the Marsala sauce. They were overly salty, and the sauce itself lacked balance it leaned heavily acidic, almost vinegary, without the richness you'd expect. The "Barcelona" pizza was solid, but again, shortcuts were noticeable. The crust was clearly pre-made. I appreciated the heat, but overall the flavor profile was fairly flat.Best thing I had was freshly baked bread it was fresh and tasty. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food execution didn't quite live up to it.
