Was in town for work and was recommended this place for their burgers. The pictures are deceiving as the current atmosphere is no where near the images from nine years ago. Place is dirty and I waited almost thirty minutes for my order. Fries were undercooked and no bacon on my big daddy burger. Don't see us returning here. The reviews were very misleading. The floor hasn't been swept since only God knows when. The burger had NO flavor and was cold. The tater tots were ok. Husband said "take this off the list." Windows were cracked and broken. We should have known better just by looking at the outside of the building regardless of reviews. read more

We come from Lubbock just to eat here which is only 45 minutes away. The Steak fingers are hand breaded and the fries are so good. I normally don't eat all my fries but these are magically delicious. The Burgers are so delicious. Thick but well cooked . No Red . I wanna try more but love the Steak fingers. Plus, slots in the back. Highly recommend!!! We try to go every weekend. read more

Omg!!! Do not come here go to IHOP instead. It feels like I'm in The Hills Have Eyes !!!! We should have know when we were the only ones in here. Not one person at 11 o'clock on Sunday morning. Amazing breakfast! We've always been there for their burgers which are the best in town but now I can say that their breakfast is the best in town too! Upon arriving and looking at the menu, I was a little disappointed. This quickly vanished when I asked the waitress if they served lunch. They do and serve breakfast all day too! I ordered 2 biscuits and gravy and a chicken fried steak with 2 eggs. One of the best chicken fries I've had in the long long time! My wife ordered an omelette with bacon. Some places skimp you on meat but not this place. Her omelette was loaded with bacon and covered the entire platter. Service was great even after the wife spilled her water all over the table. Lol. It takes a while to get your food but the wait is definitely worth it! read more

I came here by accident, and it was amazing! Great breakfast wished I could have had one of there famous burgers but sadly was leaving that day to travel back home. Had breakfast, waffles nice size and fluffy, simple down home cooking. Don't let out side fool you this is a gem of a place. They are open on Sunday 7-3 now. (They are across 5th st from another Resturant that was closed) Good food, great attentive staff that made me feel at was and enjoy my meal. Stopped in for breakfast before taking to the road. Very clean restaurant. Coffee refreshed often. Eggs perfectly cooked over medium. Biscuits toasted on the griddle and gravy warm and comforting. Would definitely recommend for a hearty meal. read more

Best patty melt ever! I had a patty melt, onion rings, diet coke with a side of ranch for $11.30.Seriously the best patty melt I've ever had. I love a good patty melt and I've tried them everywhere. The meat was well seasoned, the onions grilled (and there were enough onions to actually taste them), and the rye bread was perfectly grilled. The onion rings were excellent too. I didn't think there were that many rings when The basket came, but I was full and satisfied with my lunch. The waitress was polite and prompt. My glass was never empty and I never lacked for anything. Be sure to stop in, great food! read more

To be fair, we didn't get a burger, but there was little to brag about. The chicken fried steak was more like chicken fried potted meat with a side of old school elementary school instant potatos. The grilled cheese was more grease than cheese and the side of "guacamole" was from a tube. The catfish "special" really was special. It was at least edible, but the hush puppies were more like cigars. The salad was ok, if you could ignore the melted cheese and brown leaves. The BLT was on butter soaked toast that tried to cover the soggy bacon. Takeaway: when a small town place says they do burgers, get the burger. read more

Great home cooking!!! Not right off of the interstate, but it is definitely worth the few extra minutes to get away from the franchises. The employees were so sweet, and the lady waiting on us turned off the fan after she noticed I was cold! Great burger! I had the jacked up cheeseburger with jalapeños and crispy tots. The large meat patty was hand formed, nicely seasoned and juicy. One star was deducted for the too soft bun that was not up to supporting the heft of this loaded burger. This isn't a fast food joint so be prepared for a short wait for your food.
