Food was filling and good. I opted to taste Loco Moco to know what they're raving about. To me, it was ok. The serving can be good for two. I couldn't finish was it. The macaroni was salty My husband had the flatbread almost like a Hawaiian pizza. It was okay too. Not a fan of ham so, I took off the ham. Service was good and quick. Our server was friendly. Ambiance, it's a bar so, a little loud at times.

The ambiance here is really wonderful with breezy outdoor seating covered by screens. There isn't much protection for rain unfortunately. Very popular spot and we had to wait a bit to be seated. Our server was extremely nice. Food selection was actually very minimal with only 3 sandwiches. The burger variety was pretty decent. The burger itself was very average with a well done patty because it was so thin. It comes with a selection of sides, but none of them are fries! We selected the chips. They were not as generous as we were expecting or hoping. Recommend the lemongrass luau as a light beer!

Four of us stopped in for lunch. It was the first time we've been there. Everything on Oahu is open air and Kona brewing Company is no exception, the ambience was lovely. We sat out overlooking the water. They had a wide variety of Kona beers. The food was delicious. Our friend had the jalapeño popper pizza. It was delicious. The wife and I split the fish tacos. they were also very good and our other friend had the Aji tuna salad. It was huge. The service was top-notch however, we did have to wait for about 15 minutes for a table, but it was well worth it, if we're ever in Oahu again will definitely go back.

I ordered all the Back Yard Batch, which are single batch beers.  I specifically ordered these because Kona Brewing has a great commercial presence all over the US and these are some I have never had, nor are they available outside of Kona. THE BEER: SLAM Dunkelweizen 4.7% ABV... OMG... so crushable. This is an all day easy drinking beer. Banana, check, clove, check, lite lemon, check, delicious, check, check. Steam Vent Lager 5.7% ABV... this is an easy drinking Lager, slightly hoppy Dad Joke IPA 6.3% ABV... a little grapefruity, West coast kinda, but there is some sweetness Lil Bae Bae IPA 5.3% ABV... Lil Bae Bae has a bite.  Mellows out after the first sip. Bay Runner Imperial IPA 10.4% ABV... fruity, slightly hoppy, but not overpowering Lea, our bar keep was awesome! There is food here, fresh baked pizza and sandwiches. There are geckos on the bar, on the floor and all through the brewery.  The staff I was told, call themselves geckos. If you like good craft beer, this is a great place to visit while in Kona.

Kona Brewing at Gate E6 is an absolute gem for travelers looking to kick off (or cap off) their time in Hawaii with a taste of the islands! I stumbled upon this spot during a layover, and it turned out to be the highlight of my airport experience. First off--the beer! Kona Brewing's craft beers are legendary, and having a fresh, cold Big Wave or Longboard Lager while waiting for a flight? Priceless. The selection is fantastic, and they serve everything perfectly chilled. It's like a mini tropical getaway right in the terminal. The food? Equally impressive. They offer hot grab-n-go dishes, including the iconic Spam Musubi, which was a delightful and flavorful bite of Hawaii. It's freshly made, warm, and hits all the right notes. Who knew airport food could be so comforting and authentic? They also have other island-inspired dishes that are perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. The vibe here is relaxed and friendly, with service that genuinely embodies the aloha spirit. The staff was welcoming and efficient, making the whole experience feel like a mini-vacation. Whether you're looking to unwind before a flight or savor one last taste of Hawaii, this spot has you covered. Don't miss Kona Brewing if you're passing through Gate E6. Great beer, delicious food, and a little slice of paradise at 30,000 feet. Highly recommend!

This was truly the happiest meal we had during our trip to Hawaii. The beer was amazing, every dish was full of flavor, and even the kids' menu was great. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it perfect for both adults and children. We left feeling full, satisfied, and very happy.

Surely...those expectations seem to have been met after today. I ended up ordering the Pulled Pork Sandwich with the superfood slaw. It was really good. Slaw - Refreshing and accompanies well with the Sandwich for some relief. It was not overdressed, which is a plus. Pulled Pork Sandwich - WOW...that's all I can say. I was completely floored after eating it. The pickled onions and slaw really were necessary to the sandwich because it helped cut through the richness of the pork. Pork was succulent and delicious and they gave a good amount of it on the sandwich. The presentation on the brioche bun made it so inviting. I would have liked a bit more of the pickled onion on it, but the flavors were outstanding...loved every bit of it. Everything about it was so good. Sweet, salty, acidic, smoky...it all worked as a perfect bite. The ambiance of the place was really beautiful and felt like a place I definitely would love coming back to in the near future. 10/10 Definitely would come back there for the sandwich again. Maybe I might be interested in one of their appetizers as well...

We opted for the Fried Calamari with Cilantro Lime Aioli to start, and ordered the Chop Salad with Tofu and the Verde Bowl. The food came out so quickly, and we were actually surprised with the portion sizes for all the dishes. We were able to share the salad and bowl and still had enough to pack a take out box. I made a mental note to come back when I was back in the area and today was the day! Found parking in front of the blue building but there was only 3 spots. I think there are street parking available. We walked in at around 5pm and there were a handful of people but mostly empty. There is outdoor and indoor seating. There is a TV inside. This place is dog friendly as well! Service was okay...I told the bartender that it was my first time here and she said, "okay." I was expecting her to tell me more about their tap list and recommendations, but I had to ask my own questions. She served my flight in what looked like a bowl that my dog drinks out of but that is only my assumption. Lol Otherwise, I enjoyed this brewery. I loved the ambiance and the selection. We ordered a Hazy IPA, Pilsner, Sour, and Pilsner Ale. I personally enjoyed the Hazy IPA (Hyper Local) AND my Slushy Radler which was their Howzit Light and a Lemonade Slushy that paired well together. They had a food vendor out front and it smelt amazing but I did not get to try that today. Around 5:45pm I noticed that it started to get busy all of a sudden. When I was leaving I noticed it was because they had Sunday Trivia which I am assuming starts at 6:30pm. Overall, I enjoyed this brewery but the parking can be an issue. I would come here again!

She brought us waters with a bottle to refill on our own, plates, cutlery and napkins. Drinks didn't take long and were deliciously concocted. Ordering was super easy and quick using the QR code to place and pay, which I appreciated. The beermosa itself was refreshing and well done, and I'd absolutely come back just for that. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet expectations. The "crispy" pork ended up being more hard than crunchy--so chewy that after one piece my jaw was sore. I thought maybe it was just me, but my friend agreed it was tough as well. The grilled cheese was also a bit surprising. Instead of the classic buttery, crisp bread with melty cheese inside, the cheese was grilled onto the outside and inside, which left the sandwich lacking that satisfying crunch. The fries were tasty, but for a $7 upgrade, I was hoping for a more generous portion than what arrived on the plate. On a positive note, the staff was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and checked on us a few times during our meal, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really wanted to love the food more, but it fell short this time. That said, I'd still consider coming back for another beermosa and hopefully a better kitchen day next time.
