Hello Mr Watts, I understand you are the owner of Kokomo Grills. I have tried to reach you by email and social media, but have received no response so I am forced to give you my review on this platform. I'll start by saying that overall I am happy with the product. What I am not happy about is your customer service. Let me explain and you can understand why. We ordered a large Kokomo Grill from you after we had seen them at a Prescott valley home show. We had made our order at your store in North Phoenix in late March /early April of this year and were told it would be an 8 to 10 week build. We had met with salesman, Zach. By the first of June I had called Zach to confirm the deadline would be met. I was told it was going to be more than 10 weeks at this point. By mid-June I called again and was told they would rush it and I would have the bbq kitchen by June 30th.. Several days prior to delivery I received an email from Zach stating he had seen that I had not ordered a variety of accessories that I may want to have with my new kitchen - good salesman up to this point. I agreed, and asked that the rotisserie, smoker box, and flat griddle be added. Zach had always answered my telephone calls, emails, and texts while making this sale. He assured me it would be on the truck with my kitchen delivery. Zach also asked me if I wanted to add a tip for the five (5) installers that would be bringing the kitchen up. I also agreed to that and added a tip of $125 - $25 for each installer. Zach sent me an email receipt for the added items. On June 30th my bbq kitchen was delivered and it appeared the four (4) installers did a great job of installing the kitchen. The head installer, Carlos, showed me everything about the kitchen to include opening the lid to the single burner. I pointed out to him that the refrigerator door had three (3) dents in it with one being rather significant. I asked him where the added accessories were that I had ordered and he said he knew nothing about it. He took a picture of my receipt and saw my emails that I had ordered them. He said he would email management and let them know and get the refrigerator door replaced and my accessories sent to me. I emailed Braydee or Brayden along with Zach, but while I was waiting for a response I called your Kokomo store and spoke to Braydee, who said he had installers coming to Prescott the following day and would meet me or have them drop the accessories off. Zach also answered the email apologetically and said the items would be delivered. The following day, July 1, at about 730am the installers did just that and dropped them off at my door. I emailed Zach and told him the missing accessories were delivered, but not the refrigerator door. I have never heard back from Zach from this point on. On this same day I was excited to use the new outdoor kitchen and began to bbq when I noticed there was no burner grill for the single burner. A further inspection of the backside of the outdoor kitchen found a damaged stucco area at the center top area of the back of the kitchen where the moving straps had obviously been. This is upsetting since I know the installers would had to have seen that damage along with the missing single burner grill. I tipped these installers, gave them coffee, snacks, sodas, water, and Gatorade. So much for gratitude. I have pictures of the dented door, the damaged stucco, and the missing grill. On Saturday July 2, I called Zach and texted him with no response. I then emailed Zach and Braydee and again was met with no response. I waited on the following Monday and received no return calls. On Tuesday, July 5, I called a different store location and asked to speak to a manager, since I didn't want to get the run around from the store I purchased the kitchen from. I spoke to a manager, "David", who said the installers have the stucco repair on their trucks and should have repaired it and also should have noticed the missing grill. David said he would get all of those items sent out to me immediately. I immediately received a "NO_REPLY" email from Zach with an attached receipt for the stucco repair, refrigerator door and grill. There was no correspondence or apology in the email - just an attached receipt for the items. The refrigerator door was in fact delivered two (2) days later on Thursday thanks to David, but without the stucco repair kit or the grill. The packaging slip said ALL three (items) were in the box, which was obviously not true. I know that when the packaging slip has the items on it a warehouse assumes that all items have been delivered and I will never receive the other items. I waited, believing there has to be two boxes and not just one. I waited two more days before calling David and leaving him a message that the other items had still not arrived. He texted me on Thursday, July 7 and said they would be in two (2) boxes and should arrive soon. So here we are on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. More.... read more

We bought a Kokomo grill at the home and garden show and Zach gave us a great deal on it.

This is one of the sketchiest companies I've ever dealt with. They will have you put down a nonrefundable deposit (not disclosed except in the fine print), even if you're unsure about HOA approvals or if there is enough space for the outdoor kitchen in your property. They're also very vague about what is included in your kitchen. When you talk to the sales rep - they tell you "everything you see" but these components aren't called out in brochure or in any documentation. The outdoor kitchen we were hoping to install came with a TV, fan, grill, and outdoor refrigerator. We were waiting for the original sales rep to retrieve a business card and started talking with another sales rep. That second sales rep casually mentioned that the outdoor fridge shown is actually an upgraded version. Speaking of business card - those things are worthless. The numbers listed connect you to a regional or nationwide switchboard. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach your sales rep from the contact info on the business card. Run away. You can build a fully custom outdoor kitchen for the price they are charging. read more

I never post for companies, but I feel very strongly with these people. We bought a kitchen from Kokomo Grill !!!!"RUN FOREST RUN"!!!! Great product! Sales team very helpful! Install team spot on, polite dedicated. However, their customer service SUCKS!!!! They made our unit wrong, so it didn't fit. We called many, many time left voice messages (due to NO ONE answers the phone or calls back). My husband and I had to drive to their facility X2 to speak to them for action. Then it still took over 3 months to get it resolved. The day they finally came out they STILL DID NOT GET IT RIGHT. Had I known before their customer service is that BAD, I would NEVER have done business with them. To make matters worse, we were told if we pay for the product in full when we placed the order (back in April) we would be pushed to the top of the list - NO! that did not happen! Our kitchen took from April - Sept. Go with a lesser quality product with better customer experience. HORRIBLE read more

They have some really nice set ups for grill ideas for your backyard. But it was hard to find any help. I thought they were a bit pricey. I say this because they were our third stop of the day and they were the most expensive. But when we did find help they were helpful and answered all the questions. They just were not for us. I'm giving them three stars because of the location in particular. We actually drove past it on the frontage road and had to go all the way around in a circle to get back to them. There is no parking except for on the one side road. I truly wonder how many people just keep on going. read more

After care is not good. Bought four bar chairs from Kokomo. Two of them broke within a week. They took pictures and said they would get back to me. No one has called me from Kokomo Grills for over three weeks. Be very wary of this company. Will not take back defective product. read more

Absolute terrible customer service. Bought a spa and island at a home show..the spa salesman told us that we did not have to use chemicals in our spa to clean it that it had a new feature that makes chemicals not needed as my skins breaks out with chemicals. it is the only reason we bought this spa.. when delivered they told us the same thing..no chemicals needed..used it once and it was dirty and never self cleaned...called Kokomos and they said you have to use chemicals, we explained we were told we didn't have to when we purchased it...we asked them to return spa because I can't use...they would not..on top of that the spa had water in the main computer board and other multiple items wrong so we tried to get warranty work done..we live 2 hours away and after over 15 calls to get warranty done they scheduled us to be here no later than 11am..had to take off work to wait...at 1145 the guy called and said he was just leaving and is 2 hours away..i called back 20 minutes later and cancelled because I had to be back at work after wasting the whole morning.I also put $5k down on an island..when we bought the island they told us they gave us a discount because they already had all the items in stock but just had to wait a couple months to build it...so through this terrible customer service experience with the spa i called to cancel the island and get a refund before they started building it(over a month and a half before)..They said all sales are final and would not give me my money back because they said they used it to order all the parts...after they told us they discounted it because parts are in stock..so now they are just holding my $5k hostage...and to make it worse i call, email and text every day to get my spa fixed still...they sent a new control panel from manufacturer 3 weeks ago and said they would come up as soon as i got it...for the last 3 weeks i have called and texted and emailed the service manager David and the store manager with no response. This is the absolute worst buying experience I ever had and the worst customer service i have ever encountered...at this point i would be happy just to get my deposit back and find another company that can warranty the spa so I can sell it since I cant use it......PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY BEFORE YOU PUT 50% DOWN ON ANYTHING FROM THESE SUCKERS! read more

My wife and I stopped by there on the 4th of July and made a purchase. Salesperson person said it would be ready in two weeks and we would need to drop our brand new smoker (still in the box) off at their manufacturing facility. I dropped it off a week later as we had vacation plans. A few days later I received a call to set up delivery. I was told October 28th, way past the two weeks I was promised. I tried calling the Salesperson back. He finally called back a week later after my 3rd try. He said he would look into why so long. Still waiting for that call back. I've called four more times to talk to him and left message every time. No call. Bad customer service. Starting to lose my sense of humor with these people. Product better knock it out of the park because nothing else has. read more

Provided one star because unable to provide zero. The sale of our BBQ went well, the people involved were helpful. We decided to purchase/supply our grill, a brand-new grill in lieu of going with theirs. We purchased a $1000 drop in grill and brought it to the warehouse as instructed. Several weeks go by for fabrication. I received a call to set up installation. It was on a Sunday which was fine. They gave a window of 8 am to 2pm and said they would call an hour ahead. I called two different people to ask if they could look at the schedule and see due to my location if I would be first or last for an idea. They could not tell me, but assured me they would call ahead. Day of delivery I get a call at my gate asking the code, no call ahead. 5 guys show up and the lead person has no clue. They bring the grill to the back go through the motions and while installing the grill into the island I notice that it is scratched and dented. I point it out and they take pictures and tell me there is nothing they can do that I have to call a manager. I sent an email to the person who was in communication throughout our process letting him know the situation. I called the company on Tuesday after not receiving a response and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Zach, he indicated that the email was received and escalated and that someone would be contacting me. I also told Zach that the grout on the BBQ in several locations was cracked when delivered, he said that was normal and would send a touch up kit, still have not received that. I received a call a week later on Tuesday a few minutes before 5pm to deal with David, who indicated he was the general manager. David began to provide a bogus account of the scenario on how they do things and the fact that they had my product and the damage to it was not their fault, I could not prove they did it. He indicated that they have this process, I asked if they have such a high standard process, why was I not notified if the grill was in fact damaged when they received it as they claimed, note the grill was directly purchased from the retailer, in a sealed, unopened, undamaged box. David told me there was nothing he could do and that I needed to go back to the retailer to have them deal with it. I explained that it should not be their issue since I provided to his company, in addition I purchased and dropped it off on April 23rd and it was June 1st he was calling me back. I asked why there was not a process, he said they should put on in place. I told him that does nothing to resolve my issue. I asked why exactly does it take over a week to contact a customer who has a complaint about a delivery David's inept answer was the issues go into a queue and he was working through them. I told him that was unacceptable. At the end of the day dealing with David was infuriating due to his incompetence, he should not be a sales person more less a manager. He did not resolve any issue, basically told me tough sh.. they could not do anything. This is absolutely unacceptable!!!! Warning to anyone who wants to purchase your own grill go to another company, this half ass establishment takes zero responsibility for their actions and makes the customer the one stuck with it to resolve, ridiculous!
