As a college instructor and university professor of business courses I educate and have educated…read moregreat leaders in business and in welding. One main thing I ask my students to remember is that business is the moment we are living in, it is right now. We must place our biases, prejudices, and perceptions of others aside to conduct business. That is what I preach and how I live. It is a shame that I came to conduct business with MezFab and we were to meet with Cody to talk about a project. I understand that we are visitors, I understand social distancing, and I understand that to some it is optional to wear a mask. Yet when you have someone with a bad cough and walks you into an enclosed room a red flag comes up. Also, when someone invites you to their place of business and a person looks at you as if you have no right to be here (Cody) and immediately dismisses your idea by saying "We just do not do that." For a moment I wondered "do what?" At that point, it was best to leave. This person who I will not call a man did not even welcome us, open a door for us to come in, and as much as he wanted us out he did not hold the door for us or even wait until we left.
