Recently my wife and I decided it was time to increase the energy control and efficiency of our already Energy Star rated home. Four of our eastern windows take in a considerable amount of sun in the mornings and midday. And our western side of our enclosed patio was getting too much sun (heat) through our rear glass wall as well as when sitting outside. A solution and remedy were needed. My $16,000 All Pro Shade Concepts experience was horrible and I caution you to look at my photos when you look at theirs to get a much better Idea of what you really get. They went longer than their estimated time and never contacted us once. When we finally reached out to them the person was rude and just wanted us off the phone. We had to complain to original salesman. They came and installed and left huge gaps and uneven shades. They said this is how houses are designed now and not their fault. They said "these are glorified paper towel rollers do not expect much". They also made sure to let us know keep shades and awning up and never leave unattended. We sent photos and our issues to them. The fix they suggested was to cut a gap in or walk way. We called paver company and they said that is a HUGE safety concern and please do not do that. read more

They were friendly, high points for customer service and keeping me informed about the cosmetics options of the install. They were careful, cautious about where and how to connect to electricity. I purchased two outdoor retractable shade screens and a 26' wide awning for my patio from these guys two years ago. I was happy with the installation and product. Recently, I contacted them for a service issue (one of the cables that guides a shade screen was fraying) and they came right out. However, upon inspection, they discovered that the awning needed some additional support and a support bracket was bending. They did not hesitate on the repairs and sent two crews out a couple days later to reinstall the awning system at no cost to me. I understand that sometimes things in construction don't go exactly right, like here. The fact that they jumped at the opportunity to repair it and did it immediately confirmed to me that this is a good company that stands by their work. I would definitely use them again. We chose All Pro Shades for our back porch screens and decided to upgrade to the motorized option. A year later, we're extremely dissatisfied with the product. While All Pro has been very responsive, coming out multiple times to fix issues, the problems persist. The screens frequently go off track, sometimes damaging the frame, or they simply don't work at all. Considering the high price tag, the quality of the product is disappointing. Despite their responsiveness, a year of ongoing issues is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend the motorized option for larger shades. read more

I called for 4 different estimates for a sun shade for my back patio area. Mike was the salesman that came out to quote me. He was courteous, honest and fair in pricing. He explained the process of the materials, the workmanship and what to expect during install. I chose to move forward with All Pro Shades because of Mike's ability to not talk negatively about other sun shade concepts but explain the difference and why his sun shade was just as good if not better. Scheduling: I was promised a time frame and date and the office staff was polite, stayed committed to the time frame that they had promised and were communicative on all aspects of the install pre & post. Install: The installers names were Mike and Dayton. They were right on time, courteous, explained exactly what the install process was going to be the time frame that it would take, and asked if I had any questions or any expectations after the 3 of us had spoken. After the install was done no fault of there's I noticed a gap in-between the track and the wall. My walls were not completely flush, and I know no wall is but they went out of the way to get a filler so that I would not see the light shine through. They installed and reinstalled the system to make sure that I was happy. They went through the operation of the system, explained what to do and what not to do. Every step of the way they continued to check in to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work being performed was nothing short of excellent in my view. It is hard to find a company that is so customer focused and wanting to ensure that my satisfaction was not only met, but went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the final product. They have done several things for us and the service and quality has always been very good.

Our experience wasn't positive. I tried to call to figure something out with the owner and he essentially discounted my concerns and hung up. We waited 6 weeks for our screens to arrive (maybe longer). When they did the screens didn't fit and the crew they sent were banging on my windows to force a fit. They also couldn't navigate a window because of a 6 foot shrub which I had to have my landscaper full cut down. Never mentioned it during any of the initial measurements that the bush was an issue and it seemed like an excuse to not get the job done. Very disappointing and hopeful the windows weren't damaged in the process to be honest I called to talk to Robert to let him know about the experience and discuss a credit as I wasn't satisfied and my wife's time / my time is valuable as it's not fair to us to have repeat visits to get the job done. I am very happy with the quality & service provided by All Pro Shade Concepts. I was referred to Danny by a co-worker who had her home & mother's home screened last year. She raved about the customer service, value & benefits of the screens to keep their home cool during our HOT AZ summer months. Danny great to work with; he contacted me promptly after my initial call to set up an appt for a quote. He was honest, knowledgeable, provided me the warranty information & proper care/maintainence throughout the year. During the process while waiting for the screens to be fabricated & installed, Danny was easily contacted via call or text to answer any additional questions. Our home is a 2019 single-level new build with energy efficient windows & a radiant barrier roof. It's on a corner lot which has multiple windows facing West that gets a beating by the evening AZ sun. My APS bill is no more than $180 last year during the peak summer months with thermostat set to ~80 degrees throughout the day. I ended up ordering a total of 10 textilene 90% solar screens of various sizes in BLACK. I had all windows covered that would be directly hit by the sun throughout the day. The installer who came was fantastic! He was a one-man show, did a quality install in ~30 minutes and answered all my questions before leaving. The shades are dark from the outside during the day for privacy, but you can still see out the sunscreen from the inside of your home quite easily (see pictures). It's like your car window tint. The inside of the home seems to be slightly cooler during the hottest part of the day and adds some protection to our newly installed shutters. It's only been a few days and will update this review as I get to compare energy usage during this summer season with our APS bill. My ONLY complaint is that it took ~5 weeks from order to install due to how busy they have been from the start of summer season and the current COVID situation. In full disclosure I was told that it would be about a 3-4 week wait when going forward with the order after the quote. They are busy which may be a testament to how much their service is sought after here in the PHX metropolitan area. I would share an All Pro Shade recommendation to all my friends & family. I seem reassured that they will provide good after-purchase customer service if any issues arise in the future, but hope to never need to find out. PRO-TIP: Consider taking off your existing bug screens and washing all your exterior windows the day or morning before they come to do the install. They will not wash your windows prior to the solar screen install. read more
