First time trying kamikaze fries, and they're SO GOOD. It's drench in a few sauces with pieces of beef and kimchi, and it all pairs so well together. The beef bowl was not the best I've had, but for a food court mall, it's decent. The ahi tuna bowl was good. I haven't tried their other foods, but I would 100% go here just for the fries :)

Amazing food court food. They always make it fresh! Staff are always friendly and helpful. They allow you to make adjustment and they try their best to accustom the customers. It is in a food court so plenty of seating space. Will return for quick and reasonable priced food

beef Short Rib Bowl

Overall this was a pretty good Koja Kitchen location, especially as a food court spot - I've had some misses a lot in the past with food court spots. The short rib bowl was pretty good, with decent serving sizes - the meat was a little too sweet for my liking though. The chicken salad was amazing though - the option isn't on their signs or online, but if you go through the kiosk, you can customize a salad. We got a southwest style salad with fried chicken (other options are smoked chicken, grilled chicken etc) I've never heard of koja serving non asian salads before! Anyhow, good food court option! Everything is self serve, you order through a kiosk and pick up the order. There's a food court area to eat your food which can be a bit loud or you can go to the balcony.

Was in valley fair and craving some Korean food, and Koja was the closest thing I could find. It's a fast food chain that specializes in Korean fusion! It was a busy wait in line and for the food, as it was on a Sunday afternoon during peak lunch hours. It took about a 15 minute wait overall for our order come in of fries and tacos. The fries tasted frozen and could have been cooked more. Flavor was there, but the heat was not... The tacos looked appetizing, but the meat wasn't too flavorful, just lots of sauce on the tacos itself which made it overwhelming. Would come here again but would order different items...

We got the pulled pork burger and the bulgogi burger. The pork one had a mayo sauce w arugula that was so good and the crispy rice patties were perfectly crunchy and chewy. The bulgogi was a bit too sweet and didn't taste like traditional bulgogi at all... just sweet meat... but still ok. Both were pretty overpriced so not sure if I would get again but the staff was nice and the food came out quick

Veggie Zen Bowl + fried egg

Honestly the veggie zen bowl + fried egg was pretty good! Definitely surpassed expectations. The soy/mushroom patty that is the meat substitute in this dish was very moist and had great umami flavor! The bowl came with a lot of rice but half of the rice was soaked in soy/teriyaki sauce + egg yolk so it was delicious. Good option that left me feeling full and also feeling like I made a healthy choice, which is always great!

Whenever I'm craving for a different taste, something that will lift my mood, I always go to Koja Kitchen. I usually order their tacos. But today I tried their Koja. I like their Korean twist on Tacos. Zen Taco is my favorite, paired with their crosscut fries. Today I finally tried their Koja rice bun. It's not my favorite texture-wise. But it's something different to try. This will remain one of my dependable go-to at the Valley Fair Food Court. The chicken meat was tasty and flavorful. It's a little bit spicy.

Good food at the mall when you're craving some nice bbq spare ribs and rice. Good portions and very fresh tasting. Not overly saucy and made to order.

Bulgogi Bun Burger

Inside valley fair mall food court. I wish this was better! I got the classic bulgogi burger. The meat was pretty good, little over done but flavor was great. Still chewable and juicy. Lettuce got a bit wilted from heat of everything. The "buns" are made of crispy rice!! It looked so good. But the rice was hard and difficult to eat. Such a bummer. The concept is cool. I would be willing to try a bowl version next time. The service to order was quick and friendly. Food took a bit. But they were busy

Veggie bowl with portobello mushroom soy patty

My boyfriend and I were across the street enjoying the Winchester Mystery house and were so hungry we decided to go to the mall across the street to find food. The line for Joeys restaurant was two hour wait so we went to the food court which I don't usually do, but I came across Kohl's kitchen and the food on the menu looked interesting to me. I ordered the veggie rice bowl with soy bean mushroom patty and was very pleased by the taste. There are never many vegan options, this was pure luck and so flavorful. I asked to not have the egg on my bowl to keep it vegan. The restaurant looked very clean and I felt healthier eating their food over any other in that food court, kind staff working too.

First time to put my yelp review but we have tried their food several times. This time we ordered the original koja, love the rice bun,it has a different crisp compared to regular bun, korean bbq boneless short ribs is so good delicious, just a right combination of sweetness and a little sourness from the vinaigrette ,one order is big enough for me and hubby.

Beef Bowl

Another one of the Asian food spots I go to at Valley Fair mall. Koja kitchen is Korean Japanese fusion food. Simple and delicious. I usually just get a beef bowl. It has beef and rice with veggies and kimchee. Good for a light lunch. Good thing about this place is the line doesn't get too long like some of the other places in the food court. Usually only 1 or 2 people in line whenever I go there. So you can get there food right away without too much of a wait. Highly recommend.

Chicken Rice Bowl

Had a chance to try Koja Kitchen yesterday at the Valley Fair mall and this was actually really yummy. This is located in the food court and if you are looking for burgers, fries or bowls this is a good place for you. This is a Korean Fusion inspired restaurant so if you are looking for that kind of food, you have found your place! For our order we got: * Chicken rice bowl: this was really good, it came with rice, juicy pieces of chicken (loved the marination), kimchi and salad. Overall it was really good and enjoyed every bite of this! * Fries (pulled pork ones) - I forgot the name but I always enjoy the coconut pulled pork and the sauce this comes with. This was very flavorful. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed both dishes and would go back again!

Ok service from our own server, but I get it.. it was busy. Seafood pancake is a definite must! The batter was very unique and quite crispy! We also got the bibim naengmyeon with the raw beef. Very yummy with QQ noodle. Kinda sad we couldn't finish this and they wouldn't let us take it to go because of the raw beef. Main meat of the star was the soy marinated galbi and the brisket. Both filled our bellies up to the brim. I'm already salivating as I write this review. I also loved the raw marinated crab that was offered as part of the ban-chan. That already made up for the price of meats lol.

The decor is a little dated. Service was efficient and met expectations. We ordered Wang Mandoo, LA Galbi, and a Cold Noodle Combo. The Wang Mandoo were described as king size boiled dumplings with beef, pork, and kimchi, and the sizes did not disappoint -- indeed very huge, even larger than the mandoo I've had in Korea. The meat was tender and overall very tasty. The LA Galbi came out as large slices of BBQ short ribs and were tender, juicy, and flavorful. The cold noodle combo came with cold noodles in broth plus bulgogi. You can pick other protein but that's what we chose. The cold noodles were refreshing and the noodles were chewy and bouncy. The portions were fairly large. The bulgogi was probably the most disappointing of all the dishes we had. It was tender beef but lacked some bbq flavor. I appreciated the wide variety of Banchans that were brought out to our table. They also gladly refilled the banchans as needed.

The noodles for both dishes have a pleasantly chewy bounce to them. They are thick, satisfying, and cooked perfectly right. The Jajangmyeon's black bean sauce was savory with a touch of sweetness and contains peas, onions, and pork. The Jjamppong has a spicy seafood broth with squid, mussels, pork, and veggies. Every meal comes with pickled yellow radish on the side to help cut through the richness of the meal. Service is not what you come here for. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and a part of that was because they skipped our name on the waitlist. They claimed they called it, but we were standing less than 15 feet away from the front door and never heard a thing. The music the restaurant was playing outside didn't help. Once sat inside, it is a turn-and-burn operation. Food is ordered, dropped off, payment is collected, and nothing more. Again, don't go here for the service, go for the noodles. The atmosphere is casual and bit cramped. It has a cafeteria-like feel inside and can get a little noisy. Parking can be tricky especially when busy since they share a small parking lot with neighboring businesses. Bottomline, Paik's Noodle is good for a quick and solid bite but that's about it.

By the time we were done with our second item, we asked them to just not bring out the third item in our combo because it was clear they hadn't even begun to prepare it because they forgot again. Despite only receiving two of the three items in our combo over the span of our two hours, they still charged us the full $73 for the combo. Additionally, they kept bringing out the wrong items and also brought out things twice when we had already received it. Food overall was undeniably bad for how it was priced. The quality of the pork in the katsu was extremely tough and stringy, not to mention how it was absolutely drowned in sauce. Kimchi fried rice was wet, as it was drowned in sauce and oil, barely fried. Chicken wings were also drenched in oil and sauce, and it was soggy, rubbery, and overall terrible. I highly recommend ordering the combos here over ala carte! All the food came out piping hot and fresh. It was the perfect bar food; just really expensive for the quality of what you're eating. The place had ambient purple lighting inside, kpop & korean street food videos displaying on the TVs, tons of korean idol posters, and music absolutely blasting overhead. I enjoyed the lively vibe, but will say the music got a bit too loud and my friends and I really had to raise our voice to speak to each other.
