This wonderful store, more often than not, tends to be my go to store for everything. First, I have a toddler who is growing like a weed. Kohls selection of boys clothes is great and the prices excellent. They sell a variety of boy jeans with the adjustable waistband to fit most body types, my little guy is on the thinner side so this is handy. My other go to departments are their decor items, shoes, home goods, Mens & their female workout clothes. The entire store is well organized and items are easy to find. There are available scanners throughout the store in case one has to double check the price since most of the time it seems to good to be true. I call this a great everything store because it doesn't just satisfy personal needs but it's great for buying a gift when one has a birthday, wedding or baby shower to attend. And finally the piéce de résistance,, the cash money back coupons that are earned just by a one trip of shopping. One doesn't have to wait to earn like a million points. All the staff is helpful and friendly. I wish this Kohl's continued success and urge everyone to make it their everything store. read more

They need more help and more training. I went today on my lunch hour to try to find a top that wasn't in my size in Moorpark. They had it, and I was ready to check out in minutes. Only one register was open. The person working it asked a customer if they'd like to open a charge, and then held up the entire line helping them fill out the form (instead of having them step aside). 10 minutes later, still the same customer. The person in front of me left. I also finally had to leave also or be late for work. Two lost sales that I know of. I'll stick with the Moorpark store. read more

This is actually one of the only stores I shop for clothes here in Simi Valley! (since mervyns closed) I love how they have their 60% clearance racks seperated by sizes rather than by product!! it makes it easier to find clothes!!! I love how they offer their $10 kohls cash rewards since I always spend over $50 there!! They dont have many employees , but its not like their store is as packed as walmart!!! Yea you might have to wait in line for a while, but the deals are worth it!! if you absolutely need assistance though, i recommend asking the first associate you find, regardless of the department they are in hahaha read more

Kohls is always sending out awesome coupons and a lot of their coupons can be coupled. I've had a $10 off coupon for shoes and still got 30% off plus I received $10 Kohls cash to be used at a later date plus I received points towards my Kohls Rewards which gives you more money to spend at the store when you've received enough points. Soooo fantastic when you're on a budget. The employees at Kohls are always very helpful and friendly. read more

If there was a way to give zero stars I would. This place is a joke!! I went to buy some shoes and after 15 minutes I finally got someone to help me. The salesman had no idea how much the shoes were and when I tried them on I couldn't because their security devise would not let me see if they fit. I asked the clerk to remove it so I could see if they fit and he told me they can't do that. I will never return to this store again read more

Customer service is not good there will be two people checking talking to customers way too long and plenty of employees walking around the floor that could come to the registers and help out it is ridiculous horrible customer service the workers in the jewelry department should open up their cashier and help out if there are long lines that they just say sorry we're closed and continue to walk around basically doing nothing are looking at their cell phones it is unbelievable read more

Kohls cash is a lie. Don't waste your time with their Kohls cash games. I bought stuff on black Friday because it came with Kohls cash. When I ordered stuff with the Kohls cash the order never came. I called them and they couldn't find the order and said it must have been a system issue, and my Kohls cash had expired. The guy found my order but said that the order wasn't placed (which makes no sense) but that he would order it again. The trick was that the sales were no longer valid, so the Kohls cash was no longer enough to cover the balance. I told him to take a pair of pants out of the order because I wasn't going to waste more time dealing with it. My order arrived and instead of removing a pair of pants he removed a curtain. So now I have half a curtain set and when I called they want to offer me more Kohls cash AFTER I pay for the second curtain they messed up and never sent me. This company is inethical and I wouldn't buy something there even if it looks like a good deal. I don't trust them at all. Kohls cash might as well be monopoly money read more

I rarely shop at Kohl's except around Christmas time. I seem to be consistently at Kohl's every Christmas Eve for last minute things I need and don't want to drive to the valley for. Christmas Eve is busy and hectic for employees yet every year the people who help me, whether it's a cashier, customer service or a floor employee, are so extremely friendly and helpful. This year I had the only item in the store without a tag. It may have been part of a set. I searched and couldn't find another nor could i find anything that appeared this was a missing piece of. A floor employee looked, same result as mine. She took me to customer service so they could make a tag (and discount the price since it was a partial set of something) so I could purchase. Everyone was busy, but they were all so happy to help. Retail employees on Christmas Eve have to deal with impatient shoppers and could rightfully be tired and just waiting for their shift to end. Everyone I encountered couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. read more

I've shopped at different Kohls and I think we have the best store ever! They always take my coupons and if I forgot them, they offer me one of theirs. My sister in Tucson says she wishes her store was as welcoming and helpful as Simi Kohls. The service has always been exemplary! read more

Horrible customer service. I was double-charged for an item but did not realize it until I was home. I went back to the store with my purchases and explained the situation. The manager all but called me a thief. She very loudly and snidely said how do they know I did not have the item. I was publicly humiliated for their error. I told her to play the tape or ask the clerk who rung my purchase as it all took place within a 1/2 hour. She made a huge production of having the inventory checked with 4 of her associates ganging up on me - going on and on about how they have to be sure I didn't have the item, etc. The inventory check confirmed my story. No apology for the attitude or inconvenience. Then they tried to give me a reduced amount back because my Kohl's cash was applied. I explained over and over that the Kohl's cash should never have been applied as I did not make the purchase. The Kohl's cash should have been applied to the items I did buy. I finally got the manager to return all the items and re-ring the transaction. While in the parking lot reviewing my receipt I realized they once again made an error. These folks are clueless. They do not know how to do their job or how to treat a customer. My transaction was mishandled twice and they acted as if I inconvenienced them. read more

They won't take promo codes and when you call they tell you they won't take your code and are so rude that you ask to speak to a survivor then wait 20 minutes for them to come back saying the supervisor won't talk to you. Complete disrespect for their customers. My card is coming up for renewal and I will not ever use their stores again. read more

This kohls is an absolute nightmare it is a disaster cloths every where on the floor aisles are over crowded can not walk through with out knocking cloths off the rack. Dressing rooms are always full of people's left over items. Lines are out of control. Since they are the only cloths store in Simi Valley they have no computation so it looks like hell. Drive the extra couple miles and a few extra dollars go Thousand Oaks Macy's. Cleaner & nicer. read more
