Dear Hubby has been super happy to learn of Mike's Clocks, especially. DH retired as a jeweler and watch enthusiast/dealer, and the love runs deep still. I was cleaning and found a unique acrylic-surround clock from the late 50s or early 60s that he'd forgotten about. He took it to Mike for cleaning and evaluation. In a couple days Mike called and said that cleaning and lubricating was all it needed. He gave tips for how to keep the movement safe (use it on a surge protector, as a power spike would likely fry the works). I fell into the rabbit hole of one of their crafty vendors who makes letter signs out of found metal objects. Creating a "J" out of a claw hook, topped with a bottle opener, fastened to a distressed piece of wooden board is an example of the craftiness. All of the pieces utilize things that might have been discarded as old, beat-up, possibly no longer useful. Their rag-tag appearance, when repurposed into new display pieces celebrates American manufacturing, back in its heyday. The hardware also reminds me of all the "pieces - parts" my grandfather used to collect in his garage. Nostalgia for days! We now own four of these small remnants of the past, but that may not be the end of it. The shop owners encourage diving into collecting the letters, by having displays spelling out "SPRING", "CELEBRATE", etc. Possibilities are endless! The various vendors do a wonderful job of freshening their spaces, keeping current with seasonal changes. Some of the accent furniture is repurposed, having undergone a milk paint treatment. Great prices, friendly staff. Keep a sharp eye out for treasures, lest another shopper snag one before you do!

This Ross is on my way home from work so it was convenient for me. I found parking easily since this store is in a plaza that has a lot of parking spots. When I walked inside, the men's department are on the right side of the store and I found a pink slim fit shirt right away. I just grab a medium size one and went to like up to check out. There was only 2 cashier working so the line was backed up and there no self checkout station in the store. They also have a Amazon locker on the left side of the store when you walked inside. The cashier was polite and friendly with me during my checkout experience.

I found this location and it is actually pretty neat and modern inside and I was told that their donation center is behind the building on the side where you can drop off all your donations. However, once I did find the area to donate. I did like how it is someone outside and there's labeled bins to put your donation items in. Unfortunately, the only thing I didn't like is that the guy really didn't help much and he noticed that it was a big bag I had to carry. I feel like they could have just helped out a little more, but overall, I feel like this Goodwill is very convenient and easy if you want to donate something you could just pull up in the bins is right there when I'm in the area and I have clothes to donate. I asked if it was a mistake & she went to go & check. When she came back she said she couldn't change the price because on eBay the item was going for $80. I was surprised that goodwill has their employees checking eBay prices when goodwill themselves receive all these items for free. I wanted to add the Funko to my collection but it makes no sense that they mark up the prices per eBay postings. I might as well shop on eBay if that's the case.

Also found a brand new Medela harmony pump for $10 and brand new EvenFlo bottles! So many great finds here for new and barely used items at affordable prices.
