BEST LOCATION HANDS DOWN! First, 5.11 has some of the most comfortable and versatile gear for combat training, hiking, and even just walking around town. Outstanding clothing quality that looks and feels great. Second, I love this location. The sales team - specifically Jake - is super cool and helpful. My brother and I are regular visitors and, even though we live closer to the Commerce location, we go to Simi because of Jake. I never feel like I'm being "sold" something. Instead, I feel like I have a buddy at the store just giving me great advice on fantastic products. Can you get the similar stuff at different stores or even online for a cheaper price? Sure but why would you when you have a great quality product with a super helpful sales team. What's cheap today is expensive tomorrow. Don't try to find knock off crap on Amazon. Pay for the quality products and service at 5.11. You won't be disappointed. read more

There are other 5.11 Tactical stores closer to where I live; however, I planned out a full day in this area and wanted to see what was new. This is a really nice, clean store. Ample free parking in a plaza near Walmart. The staff member who greeted me and checked on me on 7/10/21 was very friendly and helpful. There is a plethora of tactical gear ranging from apparel to backpacks to vests/plate carriers to holsters. They sell grrrreat patches. Patriotic ones. Adventure ones. Then some with sarcasm. Right up my alley. While the tactical pants for women are expensive, they seem very durable and look great. Range days are cool, but I would even wear these hiking, camping, and fishing. Finally, I love Black Rifle Coffee. I love their story. I love what they do. Always thrilled to see their bags sold at 5.11. read more

Went to get a gift card and looked around the store. The staff is always watching you and trying to sign you up for stuff you don't need. Staff felt awkward and pushy. Wouldn't recommend going to the store, better to shop online or Amazon. read more

Super friendly and helpful. I was able to try on every single pant and shirt that I had picked out. Everything in the store is super clean and organized so it's easy to find the sizes you need. Both the man and woman who were there (I didn't get either of their names ) were great and helpful. The lady even got me the size I needed down from the model and didn't make me feel like I was a burden. Definitely will be back soon to purchase more goods. Excellent selection and quality. I went to buy a belt amd would up buying a shirt and pants as well.

Ordered a pair of custom boots measured to fit, was told if for any reason they didn't fit they would be fixed at no additional cost. The boots came in, after breaking them in they were to tall, too big in the ankle, was told would cost me 250.00 to fix. Then I was told better too big than too small. What kind of customer service is that? I am usually very happy with this store but 1,300 for a pair of custom fit boots that don't fit does not deserve my business when they will not stand behind their word or their products. The khaki pants are thick and very warm, almost like lined pants from LL Bean, etc.On a recent ski trip to Mammoth Mtn in Calif, I wore them outside in temperatures ranging from 5 degrees to 25, & was pretty comfortable all day (I was not up on the slopes, boarding, so I'm not saying they are 100 % waterproof) read more

Once I walk into the store, I was greeted by a wonderful and experienced staff. Cody and Annabella was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the store, by far I had the best experience ever. Cody and Annabella unbelievable awesome, knowledgeable. I came into the store to return a pair of pants that I purchase online which was to big, after finding the correct size, I decided to look around the store since I was my first time there. After about 20 minutes of looking around I end changing out the pants I bought back and end up buying a pair of boots and gloves. I'm so happy I decided to go into the store for the return instead of sending it back through the mail which would take another 2 weeks. What can I say from the manger on down the best ever.
