My daughter and I walked into the store last night after work so we started late looking for a NYE outfit. It was 7:25 and we knew we didn't have a lot of time. The young sales girl welcomed us in and my daughter asked a couple questions. I wish I'd paid better attention to her name tag! Anyway she was very pleasant even though we knew they were getting ready to close at 8. I made a comment about making sure we were out of there by 8 and she responded with a smile saying not to worry. I'm not used to that any more and it was so refreshing to see someone not make you feel like you're bothering them or they want you to leave as closing time is near. Thank you for your help and to the other woman cleaning the dressing room with the accent! She was very helpful even though she was struggling a little with her English. I believe the blonde woman who appeared to be the manager racially profiled me during my visit. When I asked to try on a headband from the mannequin, she instructed another employee to censor it. This felt unnecessary and concerning, especially because none of the other headbands were censored, and even more expensive items in the store were left uncensored. The headband was only $7, so the response felt excessive. The purchase was at 5:31pm on 12/22/25 I'm raising this concern because I have worked in retail myself and understand store policies. Censoring merchandise should be consistent and policy-based, not applied selectively. The inconsistency in how items were handled made me feel uncomfortable and unfairly singled out. read more

My wife and daughter just returned from this store and their experience was not great..., or as wife puts it horrible! On August 14, 2025, Thursday between 3 and 4:00 PM, the customer service (by all three employees) was terrible. It does not surprise me that Veronica's review on June 8th was 1 star. The interactions between my wife and daughter, and their staff was in-different at best or as my wife put it racism. Snotty attitudes and response's like "do you need the dressing room again!" with a facial expression that showed anger and/or hate. My guess is that people shopping at this store today (aka my wife and daughter) at the time these three employees were working were not the kind and/or color of the customers these "workers" preferred to provide customer service too.., or they're just lazy. Horrible experience. 11/15/25 at 6:30pm-7:14pm, was shopping for my friend and the three workers there were very rude. Never welcomed us in, but every other customer it was always "Hi welcome" so nice and sweet. Kept death staring us as if we were gonna steal something, and giving us dirty looks through out our entire time there. We were in the dressing rooms waiting for my friend to come out and show us the outfits. One of the girls came up to us and said "if you guys aren't gonna try anything, get out of the dressing rooms or get in that big dressing room". My little sister was sitting on the floor, so as she was getting up to move, she repeats herself again in a rude tone. We end up moving into the big dressing room, that we were told we could be in, to see my friend try on the outfits. Then another worker comes up to us and tells us to leave the dressing rooms rudely. I can completely understand if it was busy and we were blocking other customers, but it was just my group (4 of us) and 2 other customers. 1 of the customers was in the dressing room trying stuff on, and the other was looking around the store. We were no where near them to bother them. It was a tall blonde girl wearing a white sweater and blue jeans. A big girl with brown hair wearing all black. I went to Windsor tonight to get a homecoming dress for my daughter. We received exceptional help in the dressing room from Kait. She was enthusiastic, energetic, helpful, friendly and very nice. She grabbed us different sizes when needed. She assisted in helping us make our final choice. We were there so long that Kate had to take a break and Brianna took over while she was gone. I stopped in here today after seeing their super cute and chic dresses in the windows. I needed a gift for a girl friend and found the most adorable outfit for under $50. They have great, fun jewelry to go with their clothes and the staff was very friendly, greeting me right as I entered. Only negative - I asked for a gift receipt and was told I would get one but then I didn't. When I asked for one they said they would have to wait a few minutes, reverse the transaction and re-do it all over again. I gave up and left instead. Store was clean, well lit and the clothes were nicely organized, if not a little tight with so many of them on the racks. I'd shop here again. read more

I was looking for honeymoon outfits, this place is the worst. I'm not too sure why I was being followed around, I felt super uncomfortable. I thought it was just me at first but then I decided to walk randomly to the other side of the store to see if she would follow; and just like I thought she would, she did. I used to love this place, however the customer service is terrible! One of your employees, Angelina, was very rude and arrogant, she had the worst attitude anyone could possibly imagine, and she was so condescending! Overall had a terrible personality, and I overheard her badmouthing the clothes! You would think someone would work at a store where they actually like the clothes? I'm surprised this location has such a low rating. I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and was able to find a good fit thanks to Kayla and Katie! They checked on me multiple times while I was in the changing room. They even gave me dress options, shoes, and jackets straight to the dressing room to try until I got exactly what i wanted. For years I've had the worst experience shopping here, but that all changed today! I have avoided going to Windsor in Thousand Oaks because the employees are rude and the looks they give make it so uncomfortable to shop and even worse to try clothes on. I shopped there today and had THE best experience! The owner must have read the Yelp reviews and made some changes because Blanca and Katie are a breath of fresh air!!! I even asked them if they were new because I've NEVER met a nice employee at that Windsor store! Both girls said they had been there for 2 weeks now. I can't stress enough how AMAZING these girls were! They were so friendly! Extremely helpful! I asked if they had a dress in a different color and she OFFERED to look it up for me! I have came to this store about five times in the past month. The customer service is extremely unorganized and unprofessional. When your store says it closes at a specific time, you should be able to comoly with that schedule. The first time I came this store decided to open at around 1:30 pm or so. I come again today and although they close at 7 I was told they were closed. I have worked retail before and idk if the employees do this to get out earlier but this is definitely not right! Horrible customer service and attitudes from employees. I am 35 week pregnant shopping for a dress and asked for help getting a dress down from the wall. Employee told me, "One second", and did not come help me. So I went up and asked the other employe at the register and she looks at me and says, "what". I guess she didn't hear me with my mask so I repeated myself and she rolled her eyes and helped me with the dress. After trying the dresses, I looked for a rack to hang the unwanted dresses and did not see it. I held the dress towards the employee and asked where I can place the dress. She pointed to the rack around the corner of the fitting room... I went to the register to pay for the dress that fit and I had to swipe my card three times, because the device did not read it. After the 4th swipe, the employee looks at me and leans in and says, "Your card is declined". I tried another card and instead of swiping it, I inserted the card and it worked. This could have been avoided if she told me to insert the card in the first place... Overall I experienced horrible service and will not be coming back. read more

Less than impressed with the customer service here. No one answers the phones so you have to physically go in to get answers. Super inconvenient for people who don't live in Thousand Oaks. I came in for a little satin set and it was the last one in my size in existence but it was ripped. It's priced at $16 online and $22 in the store and even with the rip I still paid $20 for it. I'm not going to argue over $4 but I thought it was really annoying because if I were the next size up I could've gotten that exact top brand new no tears for less than what they charged me. Not to mention the girl was less than enthused to help me out. I love the clothes but the staff could use an adjustment when it comes to problem resolution. read more

This store never has good customer service! Normally they are all talking about there social lives. I think they had a visit today because they were discussing call outs which was good. But these girls just don't get it! I'm only carrying my wallet and my phone and they were following me like i was gonna snatch something. Meanwhile I'm the only one buying and i spent $150 i Would have got more but i was so bothered i stopped looking. Every 2 seconds they asked if i wanted a room and i said several times no thank you, each time i was getting more annoyed. I said several times i don't have time to try on but thank you. I was losing hope trying to find something and then I asked one of the store employees, Cynthia, to help me find an outfit. She was so kind and extremely helpful, she waited for me to try on outfits so we could determine which one was right for me. Horrible customer service! I only bought an item because I really needed the dress for a special occasion. Once I finished trying on my dress an employee approaches me and questions me about an item that I was clueless about and accuses my friend who was sitting in the fitting room the whole time of stealing the item the moment she went off to the restroom. She kept asking me and my other friend to call my friend to call her if she was coming back and kept persisting on her return from the restroom. Once my friend came I asked if she had seen that item and she had no idea what I was talking about. We browsed some more but we felt uncomfortable since the employees kept eyeballing us wherever we went browsing. By the time I finished purchasing my dress and we were on our way out they already had a security guard in the store who kept looking at us. This is not a way to treat customers, it was very disrespectful and beyond embarrassing especially when walking out with a purchased item in hand. read more
