Love the prices and wide variety of options, clothes, shoes, kitchen & bath items and artwork/homegoods. We bought a comforter set from here and got a great deal with the sale price as well as the coupons they offer via mail or email. Then sometimes you can still scratch a card at the register and get anywhere from 10-20% off your entire purchase on top of the already discounted prices including coupons and your Kohl's Cash. My only problem is that they NEVER have my kids shoe sizes... It's like they never order enough of a popular size and I always have to find it at another store or have them shipped. read more

It's Kohl's. Cleaner than most. Good selection. Ample inventory. Good parking. And an utter nightmare to check out once your ready to hit the cashiers. The lines are always miserable. But, that is how it is at every Kohl's so I am not going to knock a star off of this Kohl's for that. read more

Kohl's always has good finds. This place has great parking and it's very clean. People are very nice. They even let you use your coupon off of your phone. (I've been to dept. stores where they didn't so this was a nice treat) Prices are always very affordable. Since I go through my clothes often and it's fun to get trendy stuff, so this is a nice place to do that without breaking your wallet. The Jennifer Lopez brand here is very nice and so is the Rock n Republic clothes. Good quality. read more

Purchased great items for a really great price felt welcomed when I went to the second floor but then as I was purchasing my stuff with my mom and daughter. Cashier looked mad and didn't have any customer service at all,meanwhile we were checking out I believe it was the front supervisor that was in charge of the cashiers, standing by the entrance of the door she kept staring at us...giving me the idea if we had purchased the items or not like if we were stealing it felt really uncomfortable for me and my family. Not to mention this lady seen me struggling to put the shopping cart away and didn't bother to help out or say have good day. As we finished paying and putting the cart away. She then seen us passing by sensor detector to see if it would ring which it didnt but kept looking at us as we left into our car. This store is really clean but I wouldn't come here because of the service or how uncomfortable this person made us feel. read more

I am a regular shopper and get discount coupon very often especially with 30% off coupon applying to on sale items. $10 off coupon on $10 purchase is given for Kohl's credit card holder. I also receive $5 off coupon via emails too. I usually buy dress shirts, Levi's Jeans, sport clothes and cookware. Just can't beat the price with coupon. read more

For great deals I come to Kohl's. You can always find great trends for reasonable prices. Always leave with bags of stuff. This location is a pretty big 2 story location. Love checking out Paper Crown by Lauren Conrad as well as Vera Wang's collection. They also have great kitchen appliances upstairs for great prices. Bought my Krueger gourmet coffee maker here for only $75!! Been using it everyday. Sometimes it can be a bit messy searching the floor for stuff but that's the trade off when searching for bargains. Only thing that's frustrating is dealing with the ridiculously long lines sometimes. Longest I waited was bout 15 minutes. This location is right at the corner of Fremont and Mission. Lots of parking available. read more

Good for clearance area. Great prices on those racks. They play the annoying game of jacking up regular prices and giving big discounts. I've bought things there marked down 50% plus % off for credit card. Still came out more expensive than Target's regular price. I had their credit card and each month there are days you get extra discounts. Bought house brand of sandals a few years ago. They fell apart in a week and the manager refused to exchange them. He said loss prevention wouldn't allow it. I called that day and cancelled my credit card and hardly go there anymore. They should have people at the fitting rooms like Target and other stores have to check the number of items people try on. I guess people steal stuff while in there. It's common to see security pounce people once they leave the store. Perhaps the shoplifters deserve it, but it's not comfortable to watch. Be more proactive in your loss prevention. -1 star for deceptive pricing policy -1 star for not standing behind their own products read more

I received coupon from Kohl's. it says "$10.00 OFF THE BEST BLACK FRIDAY EVER. valid in store ONLY OPEN THRUS., NOV. 26-1:00 PM FRIDAY, NOV. 27. Coupon did not mention up to NOV 27 1:00 PM or says 24 hours ONLY. All the sudden around 1:30 PM, a store clerk announced that Kohl's NO LONGER HONOR THE $10.00 OFF COUPON per Alhambra Store Manager instruction. We consumer discussed that coupon with store clerk which coupon did not mention "to NOV 27 1:00 PM or 24 Hours ONLY". In general practice, assume it will be honored for NOV 27 the whole day. This is the same thoughts of other consumers who waited a long time in line, try to save that $10.00. Which we appreciated although we have to suffer to save $$ (wait in line at least 1 or more hour!!) Also store entrance or inside of the store, did NOT have any sign says: $10.00 OFF coupon honor till 1:00 PM of NOV 27!! you will think such huge business will honor their coupon; even coupon itself has issues. Believe Kohl's will honor it. Very very shocked & disappointed of Alhambra store manager's decision. Feels get cheated and especially waste lots time wait in the extremely long line. I support Kohl's department store. This time Alhambra store's action, feels frustrated. Is that because Kohl's is a big business, they can just do whatever they want? Play us? The lines were long and I was only there to buy eyeliner so I checked out at the makeup/jewelry checkout since no one was in line.. as I'm waiting to be rang up, the employee behind the counter by the name of Melinda looked at me and walked away. I said, "excuse me, would you mind ringing me up real quick please?" And she said, "yeah but there's a few people ahead of you."... There was no one else around.. she just stood there until another customer approached and asked her a question about some earrings. She then showed the customer jewelry for a good 10 minutes instead of doing a 2 minute transaction for me.. afterwards my boyfriend asked if she would help me out now that she was done and she said, "in a minute" then another customer came out of nowhere and asked her a question about some makeup, of course she helped that customer out for another 15 minutes but completely ignored me.. needless to say, I didn't spend any of my money in that store! I usually love Kohls but Melinda really ruined it for me! read more

This is honestly the worst Kohl's establishment I've been to. I used to go to the San Gabriel location, until it closed down. The customer service is shameful because they don't follow the "no questions asked policy" or even greet their customers to make sure their shopping experience went well. Returns should be hassle-free as long as the items are in good condition. I had a few items to return and Brenda didn't do a thorough job by making sure all of the items were properly refunded. It's a good job I went back to the customer service line because apparently I didn't get refunded for two clothing items (she carelessly missed these items). She voided the return transaction, and refunded me the full amount. I think this establishment needs to really re-train their customer service team. Another thing I wanted to add is after purchasing some items that same day, I came back home to realize that one of the security tags was still attached. Now I have to make another trip to Kohl's because one of their cashiers also carelessly forgot to remove the bulky security tag. Such an inconvenience. read more

If you would want to shop here I would recommend you guys to go shop at the Rosemead location. The store manager at the Rosemead location is so friendly compare to this location. The store manager here is so rude to me. She need some customers service skills. I just can't believe a store manager doesn't know how to charge a temporary Kohl ' s charge card the correct way. I been shopping at both locations and everyone did it correctly without giving me a hard time. I asked if I should go upstair to paid at customer service and she talk back to me saying do you need to work here to teach me how to use the machine. I'm just amazed how she can even be a store manager. I guess you don't need customer service skills to become a store manager. I'm going to call corporate tomorrow to complain about this situation. I am SURPRISED by the AMAZING service I received at my local Kohl's in Alhambra about a month ago. First off, I rarely shop at Kohl's, but due to my last visit this will now change. I came into Kohl's on a Sunday morning, on the last day of their sale. I was looking to buy a Queen Cadence Bedding Coordinates in gray. Unfortunately, there were only Kings sizes left in my particular style and color. Eager to make this purchase before work and before the sale ends, I approached a nice middle-aged black gentleman upstairs for assistance. This gentleman went above and beyond for me. Not only did he call other local Kohl's department stores and find my item, but he also asked the store to put it on hold for me. Because of this nice, helpful and efficient gentleman I decided to purchase a new queen sheet set & a throw pillow to go with my new bedding. I was also able to go to work stress-free and then make my purchase after work at a location he found for me. Not only was this a smooth operation, but my check out at the other department store (Monrovia) was even smoother. You can only imagine check-out lines on the last day of any sale, long and hectic, but I was able to purchase my item in customer service. My entire transaction in the second Kohl's took less than 5min. What a great experience Kohl's, thank you! read more

I have visited many kohl's stores in R.I. and Mass. I must say the best kohl's store is the North Kingstown store. This store is the most organized I have ever seen. Even markdowns which are in great order of sizes you can find exactly what you want. Other stores are completely in disarray. Hats off to a great manager of that store. She is definitely doing something right. I live near a kohl's in Warwick, R.I. , but I rather take the ride an extra 20 min. away to go to North Kingstown. read more

there are this Mexican girl staff called Alma and a staff before her , just shows this store hire people without customers service knowledge, and discrimination to Asian people. Any Asian people ,pls know! Her performance was really bad , she looks like a suck people out there without employment. I looked watches from outside for 5 mins , no staff came to me . When she came, she told me i have to see only one watch at a time, I feel awkward because obviously I am not a bad person can steal watches. but I totally understand with smiling to her, When I asked her question about watch , she can't even have a little conversation with me when she doing putting back the watch, she answered me half minute later after she did put back the watch and even then with a despite altitude. Can she handle the work or no? Just being like she didn't sleep for an entire night ! Low energy makes me crazy. Could she be warm heart if she doesn't have experience?, No! Everytime she talked, she wanted to insult me. She said "put my phone # ", but on screen it shows I need to put my SSN. I told her it shows I need to put my SSN , she give me altitude like she doesn't want to talk to me at all. And didn't give me answer finally finally on whether I should put phone number or SSN number. It is secret of people's SSN , if she cares about customers she won't left customer with confusing face. I told her I have Store's credit card already for third time , she asked me back "what" , beside , she still asked me if I have any reward card? I don't remember if they both the same, I get confusing ,and she gives no logical explanation, just to order me what to do then there was awkward silence. I know customer-service, just never face such a bad performance staff. Get a bad day because I went here. Manager , pls be noticed the staff's working altitude and basic behavior when interact with customers. read more

Kohl's reminds me a lot of Mervyn's, only better. I personally have never bought anything from Kohl's, but I think it's one of my mom's favorite department stores because of all the coupons they send her. Walked in here for the first time with my Momma (this is her favorite department store) to try on a Vera Wang "very Vera" dress I put on hold with a gal named Caitlyn I saw on Wendy Williams (How you doin?). Holds are placed on the 2nd floor with customer service. So I got to walk around a good part of the clean and organized store as I took the escalator. Only one gal was working the customer service counter with 5 of us in line. All good she found my dress in the back room in a bag. Tried it on, then browsed the store. Tons of selection for women and girl's apparel. I even found a second dress in a S where I needed a size M. They have a massive sized touch screen computer to order online with free shipping. All I had to do was scan the current dress, the computer finds it and I just begin with the ordering process. Then it printed me a receipt. Love it. Do not buy online from this store. I did and the product never shipped. Waited 3 weeks and their customer service kept lying. UPS tracking said label created and then nothing. Then when I asked for a refund they only gave me a partial refund. Had to file dispute with credit card company. After I filed the complaint then they came back and said..oops guess we should have refunded the shipping too. read more

It's a Kohls -- the sale prices are usually decent but they don't always have the best price around. I love how you can combine coupons and their return policy is excellent. I like how they use the one line system and checkout but I hate that they only have one service desk for returns. All in all, three stars. read more

i love kohl's. it's an inexpensive place to shop with quality merchandise (except for some of the things in their junior department... but what the heck? that's inexpensive!) they constantly have sales, coupons, etc and even if you forget yours, the cashiers will typically offer you something if everyone on their list got it anyway. try not to go on a weekend, it's pretty packed, though for a chill experience, go during the day on a weekday. it's the kind of store where they leave you alone unless you need something, then they hop into high gear to help you. you take your stuff from department to department (get a push cart, you'll want it!) and then when you're ready, go into any dressing room to try your stuff. no one will bug you about "starting a room" for you and being all pushy. caveat - hang your stuff back up and put everything you don't want at the exit to the dressing rooms. let's be nice to these employees; they're in retail, for goodness sakes! it's not easy. here's the big win for me - every kohl's i've ever been to has - within reason - empowered their people to do what they need to do to keep the customer happy and coming back. see above about coupons. i've seen people with 3 or 5 or even 7 "years of service" on their name tags. that's unheard of in retail, especially at a cashier level. must mean they feel good working there. another example - i was buying my mom a bunch of stuff because she doesn't like to shop and she lives in an area nowhere near any store at all (yep, the "boonies") and i knew some of it would be coming back. the guy who checked me out wrote on the receipt his name (he was a manager) because there were a couple of items without price tags and he used other similar items as the tags... so it looked as if i'd bought two of the same when they were really different. he didn't want me to have an issue if i had to return some of the stuff that was tagged incorrectly. how amazing is that? i also - on a different occasion - bought my mom some sheets at this kohl's and she returned them at another kohl's an hour away from her house. she forgot the receipt, so that kohl's (in texas) called me here - in another state! - to ask for my credit card number so they could look up the sale because the sheets had been recently discounted and they wanted to give her the full price that i paid. their service is above and beyond. love kohl's. read more

I've been coming to this kohls for years with my mom. This year has been the only we've had a problem with a product at this store. I had a cross that kept on breaking which I had to repair twice, I decided to return it and I believe Juan was the manager who assisted us. He was very helpful and made sure we had a fair exchange. kohls in alhambra - service is very, very poor. they always lose your 'oh hold' items. if they do hot hold items for cutomers, they should let their customers know. spent hours there trying and only had two items on hold for 24 hours yet, the items could not be located. this is terrible!! either have poor management there. the other complaint is whenever there is a line for checkout - somone is always there directing customers which cashier to go to - end result - worse - end up those in line behind us leave the store earlier than us! make it worse for their customers!! kohls need to train their staff!! read more

Been customers since 2007 with a spening habit of up to $5,000.00 per year and they wouldn't honor $55.00 of Kohl's cash and reward a day late. Told them I would like to close my account and they can only offer me a 15% coupon. Called corporate and they couldn't do any better so they let me go that easily.
