    Chicken noodle plate

AWESOME! Great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable, they gave great recommendations and advice when we asked. We got the noodle plate with chicken, and it was so flavorful and the veggies were cooked to perfection. We also tried the sweet & spicy wings (red), the soy garlic wings, and the chezzling fries - they were all phenomenal.

Thought the bibimbap with bulgogi was really good. Price was maybe $16 which for a huge bowl wasn't bad. Lots of hate in the reviews and the restaurant only had three total patrons while I was there but I had a really positive experience. Want to try to fried chicken next.

Took my brothers to a Korean fried chicken place called KO! chicken in flower mound. They had recently undergone new management and added a bunch of items on their menu in addition to Korean fried chicken. I ordered a medium soy garlic wing and my brother ordered a medium lemon pepper wing and medium sweet and spicy boneless. The wings comes with 8 pieces and the boneless come with 6 for medium. You can also order a whole chicken option and they also have flavors such as original crispy, cheezling, and Ko spicy. The wings are a pretty big size and I appreciate that they give you more flats than drums. The soy garlic sauce is pretty decent but I think the best flavor was the sweet and spicy with the boneless. Their boneless pieces are really big! I felt like the lemon pepper flavor could be stronger though. We also tried the truffle fries and at first thought the dipping sauce was the truffle but it was actually some kind of onion sauce. Truffle flavor is present but a little faint. The fries themselves were cooked perfectly though, crispy with a pillowy soft inside. Overall a decent place if you're in the area but there are better options I rather go to

I'd give it a 4.5/5. I was craving some Korean fried chicken and so my boyfriend took me here. The inside was very clean (A plus for me). The tables and chairs looked pretty new. Maybe they remodeled? It was my first time here so I'm only assuming based on what I saw (comparing the bathroom/back area). I chose the one with the padded seat. It had some nice decorations and a cool neon sign. When we first pulled up around 3:30pm there was no one there which was kind of nice. The server was nice and the food came relatively quick. I saw a lot of signs and took my time with the menu. First things first, we came for the Korean wings fix so we ordered an 8 piece bone in. We were able to split half the wings to be tossed in soy garlic and the other half KO spicy. I also happened to be craving some fried rice so we ordered the Kim chi fried rice with beef. Lastly, I wanted to try the KO chicken sandwich. I had high expectations but it's definitely more on the basic side. I do not recommend the KO chicken sandwich. It was on the dry side for me. But still alright or ok. However, I really liked the Kim chi fried rice with beef. Delicious flavor. I would also say they did a really good job on the "dipping" sauces. Soy garlic was not too overpowering like some places. The KO spicy was VERY spicy lol. We didn't ask about the spice level because we knew the answer didn't matter. But the spice gets hotter and hotter as you eat it. It didn't make me sweat but my boyfriend was sweating. I was burning though. I would do it again. Very good value! About $37 for everything

Came here for lunch always good. My daughter had the bimbimbop and I had the bulgogi. This place is awesome and is my favorite Korean restaurant in Flowermound. To get a great meal under $15 no complaints! The service is awesome and the owner is really friendly.

I stopped in at Ko on my way home from running an errand. It was empty but at the same time, it was right at 11a on a Mon. It's very clean and has comfortable seating. Also, it looks like a great spot for hanging out and catching a game. The lady at the counter was very friendly. I ordered the garlic soy chicken bone-in with a side order of rice. I arrived home, opened the bag, and discovered they'd given me boneless wings, which I'm not a fan of. It wasn't worth the drive back out so I decided to try them and hope for the best. They were a disappointment. The sauce was a little thin and you could barely taste it on the chicken. Also, the parts of the chicken at the bottom of the container were soggy. Needless to say, I had to throw it away.

Really fresh and hot chicken. Great service and value…read more I did not expect a Korean restaurant based on the exterior. I was in the mood for fried chicken and got popcorn chicken and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. Fries were not overcooked and not factory made, reconstituted potatoes. Solid. Chicken piping hot, decent breading (although they did not seem double breaded as suggested by waitress), and the sweet and spicy sauce I selected was very good. $10.38 before tip, including a fountain drink, was a real bargain. I'm Korean and am familiar with many Korean fried chicken restaurants in LA and now in Dallas (I need to update my reviews), but seriously, it was so bad that we even debated taking the half we didn't eat to our home. In fact, we were sh#t talking the poor left over chicken as it sat in the floor of our passenger seat area. We ordered the soy garlic and the parmesan chicken. The parmesan (the lighter one) tasted sour. Yes, sour. WTH. Oh the moo (white radish's broth was so watered down. It's supposed to have a more sweeter than vinegary taste to it, but it was so weak it tasted more like water than anything else. The truffle fries though were really good though. Our waitress, a young African American lady, provided us good service. But the chicken---whoa. We will not return.

2 Stars....and here's why…read more The stars are given purely based on food taste. The crispy, naked wings were great and the sauce was perfect. That's where the good ends. The wife's buffalo chicken sandwich was covered in sauce--not just the chicken, but the whole thing. Outside, inside, everywhere. It was so slippery she couldn't hold onto it. The onion rings were...just blah. Fries were typical (definitely not snob-worthy) My wings weren't hot, warm maybe, but could tell that they were plated for 15 of the 20 minutes we waited for the order (we were the only guests there). It was super dark in the restaurant, so much so that we had to make sure they were actually open. There was no one else in the business other than the employees. I'm assuming that the dark light situation was to cover what we eventually found to be total filth. When we ordered, paid, and sat down, the staff turned on the music so loud that the three in our party couldn't even talk to one another. The tables were dirty. The fountain drink machine was in disarray, as was the self-serve station. No napkins, plastic ware, or typical accoutrements. The hallway to the restrooms looks like it needed a deep cleaning, and the single potty room looked and smelled like a daycare. The paper towel dispenser was problematic. When we left, the staff demanded that we clean the table off--as the cook sat on the floor behind the counter charging his phone. I thought it was ironic considering how the entire place felt disgustingly dirty. We're a wing-loving family. We wanted to try this as a new place for one of our favorite treats. Based on the experience, we won't be back. Instead, we'll be trying Wing Daddy's up the road next time. I like how the ownership appears to take to heart the negative reviews. But this one is a sincere plea for real change before this business falters and shuts their doors as another bygone attempt at food service.

I'm not sure how that happens when ordering a combo (I paid $9.31 and the combo was $9.99), but I didn't want to make a fuss since I knew it wasn't the $10.81 with tax (I thought she gave me a student discount or something) and was open to paying whatever difference. I DID chuckle though, thinking, 'they really want this $1.00 and some change,' but I charged it to economy-- and hard times. However, I was told the fries would be an additional $2.59, which is full price. Huh? I attempted to gain understanding, which I'm sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn't understand and wasn't paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn't purchase them. I was done. Chyle... food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My "free" 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike's. This used to be a place we'd frequent if in the area, but it's gone further downhill. It's sad because we love family owned restaurants--but we will not return.

But, after being outvoted by the family on what to have for dinner I found myself at Wingstop. Not surprisingly, I had never been there before, yet my expectations were still relatively low. We ordered a 30 piece crew pack, which allows you to chose 3 different wing flavors, so we got mango habanero, garlic parmesan and hickory smoked bbq. Also included is a large order of fries, veggies and their 3 dipping sauces, ranch, bleu cheese and honey mustard. Some heat is a must for my family so we thought mango habanero would fit the bill. According to their chart it's the 2nd hottest flavor they offer, but calling it spicy is a misnomer as it was pretty much all sweet with barely any heat. The hickory smoked bbq was actually hotter. That's not to say that they didn't taste great, I just think the descriptions aren't particularly accurate. I skipped the dipping sauces because I'm not a fan of any of the ones they provided (I know that's blasphemy, especially when it comes to ranch!) plus everything was plenty flavorful already. The rest of the family loved them though. Overall, the meal was filling and satisfying and a decent bargain at around $40 for 4 people. I'm actually happy to report that I was wrong in my premature judgement of Wingstop. Now I would not hesitate to go back.
