Looking at the menu, I was overwhelmed by the selection. From teas to coffees to smoothies, you name it. I asked the staff what is their recommended milk teas. I was told the classic black milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and tiger oolong milk tea. I got the classic black milk tea. It took less than a minute to receive my drink. Looking at the milk tea, it looks like any black milk tea you'd get at any other boba shop. However, my expectation was wrong. It didn't taste like the black milk tea that I am used to (I'm referring to the Taiwanese original black milk tea), but nonetheless, it tasted delicious. It tasted like black jelly with milk with a hint of black tea in it. That's the best I can describe it. In conclusion, not the best black milk tea I've had before, but it was pretty damn delicious. I would definitely return to try more drinks with that element of surprise. read more

Brought my kid for a dad son bonding time while we waited for our haircut appointment next door. We walked in and everything was spotless clean. Floor counter top etc. The gentleman who was polite to take our order also suggested a drink that is popular with kids my son's age. He also suggested a milk tea for me. When we paid the transaction was so quick with the square pad he had at the front desk and even placed a disposable plastic over the screen so that I was able to conclude with a signature. So I check in here quite a bit and at first it wasn't nearly as frequent. The business is small but the location is convenient and honestly is great for a local boba place. Knottea Cafe opened about a year ago and has been nothing but kind ever since. At first I didn't enjoy it because of my choice of drink however their other teas are fantastic, varying in sweetness levels and match the creativity of the store itself. The Knottea Americano was not my favorite but the matcha melon, Thai tea, black milk tea, and other variations has been. In retrospect this is one of the better smaller boba places I've been and give all credit to it. They do offer a 10 percent off deal via Yelp which is written very conveniently on their black board. So far Knottea Cafe is better than I could have asked! read more

Been here twice, very sweet and friendly people. The owner knows what he's talking about and is great at telling precise information about what they serve. He's also super conversational and cool when talking to the customers! I got the matcha smoothie and my sis got the regular black milk tea. The matcha smoothie had a great texture, not icy, great amount of sweetness to my liking. They seem to put a type of syrup in it, maybe condensed milk in it? Either way, pretty good. Black milk tea, very sweet, can't go wrong with milk tea so props to them for making it taste how it should taste lol. Cute and punny store! I was in the area and wanted to try new boba place. I got the mango green tea with 25% sugar and my sister got rose jasmine milk tea with 100% sugar. When they gave us, we usually turn our drink upside down to idk LOL. So my sister's cup was not secured properly, they apologized, that's totally fine. Since we're wearing mask, so I tried my drink in the car, it was soooo sweet, at least to me. I then tried my sister's. Mine is definitely waaay sweeter, so I went back and told them I asked for 25% and it's sweeter than my sister's. I saw one of the girl's face looks "oops", that's okay. They gave me again, and it was still too sweet, one of the girls show "the face". I told them, I only need them to add the tea, no need to make a new one. I've been here multiple times in the past few weeks and have had a great experience each time! The employees here are friendly and you can tell they take the shop's cleanliness seriously. I've been able to try almost everything on their menu (milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies) and they've all been great! I like how you can customize drinks to your liking. They'll change the ice level, sweetness percentage, type of fruit they put for your teas, and even the type of tea they use in your drinks. I appreciate the precautions Knottea takes to ensure our safety during this pandemic time. Beside the workers were wearing masks and gloves, they have clear barrier in between us and them. They provide sanitizer on their counter. They did a good job blocking and limiting the hallway leading to their bathroom. I also really appreciate that they put a brand new plastic wrap over their device where customers like me who paid using credit/debit cards signs with my finger. I think I found my new go to boba place! I came here randomly after dinner, after having to bookmark this place for the longest time. The storefront is located in an anchored plaza with lots of parking. I was able to pull up to the shop with no problems. Staff was extremely nice and helpful! Answered all my questions thoroughly. They even had samples for me and my boyfriend to try, and explained all the differences. Also, they have dairy free drinks! I think what sold me was the THAI ICED TEA HORCHATA drink. I am always craving Thai tea boba so when a Yelp search of boba places near me suggested Knottea, I had to try it! :) AND they have $2 milk tea mondays and Thai tea Tuesdays!! Who wouldn't want to try a catchy boba spot with the name as clever as "Knottea" Very small sitting space that consists of 3 two seater tables, a bar height two seater table facing towards the parking lot and a small bench. I came on a Wednesday night and there was no people in line. They have a list of their most popular drinks on a board outside so I got curious and came in. Service was fast, friendly and I loved that the girl serving us recommended what she likes since we were first time customers. Although the strawberry swirl smoothie (contains strawberry purée) and taro swirl smoothie (contains condensed milk around the cup) sounded delicious, we went with the matcha melon tea. Matcha melon tea has the right mixture of each flavor. The boba lacked flavor and had a chewy sticky consistency. Might opt to go with my other choices if I were to come here again. This place is a hole-in-the-wall, small local business type that I've grown to love. At first I didn't frequent this place as much because I'm extremely picky about trying new boba/bubble tea places. Lately, I've been on a boba craze so I continued to visit this place as it is close to me. The usual order I have is the classic black milk tea with boba which is not extremely sweet compared to other places and I can always taste that the drink has tea. However if you prefer your tea much sweeter, ask them to make the ratio for tea to sugar differently. As I started to purchase more of their drinks, I started to try out other items on their menu. I've tried their Tiger milk tea with boba which is extremely sweet! If you're into that, then I highly suggest this drink. I've also tried their peach lychee with boba which I might try with other add-ons. I've also had their oolong milk tea with boba which is so good! Like I said, their milk teas definitely still taste like tea and aren't doused in sugar. I've also had the Thai tea which is also amazing and slightly bitter I love it. Lately my favorite has been the matcha melon with egg pudding, honestly its amazing. If you pass by this spot, be prepared for a small, quaint place. They have indoor seating two small tables, 3 high chairs and a couple of benches that can be used while waiting for your order. Sipping on this drink felt like dipping into a cool fountain in Fiji: what a refreshing, lightly-sweet palette cleanser! My friend tried the Strawberry cloud smoothie with fresh berry puree and couldn't stop talking about it. The decor at this cafe is simple but elegant, and is impeccably clean.
