I ordered one of their specialties, a Biscoff latte (less sugar and oat milk) and it turned out to be absolutely delicious. The Biscoff flavor was at the forefront of every sip, the latte was quite creamy, and a heavy sprinkle of Biscoff crumbs on top. Yum! When a drink puts a smile on my face...I know it's good. I did ask for a separate cup of ice but that's because I really like ice in my cold drinks. If I did live in the area, I would have loved camping out here to do some reading. What I ordered: Coco Pandan Mousse DESSERT: 8/10 I loved how light my mousse was. Most importantly, it actually tasted like pandan! I was worried the pandan flavor was going to be mid and subtle, but each bite had a great pandan flavor. I had a bit of a drive back to my hotel, so I was advised to order mine frozen. I'm glad I took the staff member's advice because by the time I got to my hotel and finished dinner, it had thawed out perfectly. It was still cold-ish, room temp in the best way possible. SERVICE: 9/10 Great customer service! Upon arrival, the staff member who helped me was very nice. I was indecisive about what to order, so I really appreciated that she gave me a rundown and some suggestions on their most popular dishes. Most importantly, I appreciated her concern about my dessert melting by the time I got back to my hotel. If it wasn't for her and her advice to order the dessert frozen, I wouldn't have known and probably would've ended up with a deconstructed dessert. The way she packaged my dessert was also very helpful and considerate. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Definitely a cute place, and I can see this being a great go-to spot for groups. I loved how the back seating area had so many Polaroids plastered all over the walls. There are different types of seating depending on what you're in the mood for, and each seating area has a different vibe. There's also plenty of outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the weather while having your dessert!

Upon walking in, we were immediately told that the ordering kiosk wasn't working, so we waited in line. Not a big deal. The kiosk had a note on it that says they don't have the purple signature, ube matcha, or peptides. When I tried to order, I was told they don't have the rising Phoenix. The worker also thought they didn't have the Hokkaido milk tea. The number of things they were out of was frustrating, but we managed to find something to order then we waited off to the side. Inside is very small; there is one table (or two small tables that were pushed together) and a couple seats at a counter. The back hallway is blocked off with a sign saying they do not have public restrooms. The Okinawa milk tea (plus boba) was fine. Boba was very soft with almost no chew, and the drink was perfectly sweetened with a bit of a nutty flavor. It was nice and needed no adjustments. The passionfruit milk tea was VERY passionfruit forward and had a great tropical flavor. The boba didn't add much to this, and it is probably better with a different add on. The drinks were fine and staff were friendly, but this place was a bit further from home and they were out of so many things I'm not sure we would make the trip to come here. I like to support a small business though. Just frustrating when they have either run out or stopped selling so many things.

Their signature coffee is just ridiculous...in the best possible way. Creamy, perfectly balanced, topped with cinnamon, and thick enough to feel indulgent without being over the top. It's basically drinkable art. I've seen the internet rumor that it has zero calories. I'm choosing to believe that rumor... and I don't want anyone to ruin it for me. The staff at the drive-thru has always been friendly, the drinks come out quickly, and they're consistently excellent. That's harder to find than people think. Part of me wishes they'd open a location in Huntington Beach. The smarter part of me knows that's probably a terrible idea because I'd be there way too often. If you love coffee and haven't tried Da Vien yet, you're missing out. Just don't blame me if it becomes your new addiction too.

Almost every time, I have to ask them to slow down so I can properly understand and to respond. I'd like to consider myself quite fluent in auditory comprehension, considering I'm also in the customer service business, but I can't imagine for others who might struggle with English. Please keep in mind that customers are hearing you through an intercom/speaker, so voices can already sound slightly muffled. There really shouldn't be such a rush when you're the frontline representing the company. On top of that, the customer service has been lacking. There is very little effort to explain the drinks or different sweetness levels, and even basic customer service etiquette, such as greeting customers and thanking them, seems to be missing. Granted yes, you have an automated greeting message once we approach the drive-thru, thus lacking intimacy. I used to come here multiple times throughout the week because my office is literally right across the street, but lately I've found myself wanting to stop coming altogether. I started going to Buzz Coffee down the other end of the street instead, and I can confidently say that both their customer service and products have been substantially better. It's disappointing because Da Vien has become such a familiar and well-loved name within the Vietnamese community. I genuinely want to continue supporting the business, but the overall quality of the experience seems to be declining over issues that could easily be improved with better training, communication, and basic attention to customer service.

I was curious about the cherry matcha because I had never tried that combination before, and I really enjoyed it. The matcha doesn't seem to be the greatest quality based off of the color and graininess but overall it was decent and I really liked the flavor combo. My husband had the sweet corn vienna which was also a great option, and I liked that the sweet corn flavor came through nicely. Edit: I have had enough matcha in my life and I know that a matcha latte should not be showing any speckles of matcha floating in the milk. Even if it's a "tier 1" quality, it doesn't mean anything if it's not prepared properly.

The Orange tonic is on the sweeter side, but you can still taste the bitterness from the coffee and super fizzy tonic water. They put the freshest puree in the strawberry matcha with a natural-tasting sweetness. The goth latte is a must try that you can't find anywhere else. Arc both sells and uses Rocky's matcha in their drinks; a matcha which tastes nutty and roasty. Despite the batch mixing, the matcha is never clumpy or lacking in flavor. The inside is super minimal, yet approachable. While customers constantly rotate through the small space, there is never a long wait and I usually find a seat. The parking lot is small and can get tight during busy hours. Overall, Arc is a great spot for a consistently delicious dose of caffeine.

I also didn't think the cream added much to the drink. Seating: Limited seating inside. Parking: The plaza parking lot is pretty small, but we were able to find a spot easily. Going around 9:30 am probably helped. The Matcha Einspanner was okay for me and not something I'd personally go out of my way for, but if you prefer a grassier matcha, this might be more your taste.
