I went to Knolls Restaurant in Long Beach on 05/05/26 for lunch. To my surprise the restaurant looked like an upscale restaurant inside. The ambiance was great. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The food was good. My husband loved his Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese & Garlic Fries. The Thai Sweet Chili & Lemon Pepper Wings appetizer along with my Signature Cobb Salad was ok. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Good customer service. Parking is not that great. Be patient , you might have to circle the block. I recommend his restaurant. See the posted music calendar for entertainment. This is a good place for date night!

Plenty of TV's inside to watch your favorite teams!

Came out for Happy Hour at Knolls and this was my second time visiting. Amazing service and experience from Sydney who was upbeat and friendly. I had the Korean Tacos and chicken wings. The Korean steak tacos were spicy enough for me, as is, so I'm glad I opted to get the added Sriracha sauce on the side. The tacos were good but my favorite were the chicken wings, which were absolutely the star for me. There are various sauces you can choose from and I got the Thai chile, with the size being impressive (not some small one-bite wings). They were more on the sweet side than spicy, which I prefer. Prepare to get a lot of napkins because they are sauced up! I also ordered two margaritas: Blackberry, and Spicy cucumber. There are many flavors to choose from and you can choose your rim preference: sugar, Tajin or salt. I was also told by Sydney all the fruit juices are made fresh, with exception of the mango margarita. This restaurant is dog friendly and they have an outdoor seating area as well. Overall, Knolls was another wonderful experience and I will continue coming back when I'm in town.

Visited Knolls on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. Dining room was wide open, with no wait and we were seated immediately. The dining room is quite spacious, with many tables and clean. One bit of constructive feedback is that upon arrival, the staff was engaged in conversation with one another involved the use of F bombs, and quite loud (a person at the end of the bar speaking loudly enough to reach the other at the other end of the bar). This was off putting for me. I swear I'm not a prude... Our server was friendly, and though not overly attentive- seated us, took our order, and brought our check out. There was no check in during our meal. Music selection was good (not too loud for conversation at your table), and there are TVs up that had sports games on, for those interested. Now, for the food: I ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich. Decent sandwich, though it seemed like it would have benefit from a touch of sweetness. I was surprised by the avocado that came on the sandwich, as it's not mentioned on the menu. Good thing I like avocado! I ordered a salad for the side, and was pleased with the quality and taste of the ingredients. My friend ordered the BLT with fries. While she enjoyed the sandwich overall, she too was surprised by the avocado on the sandwich (also not listed on the menu). She does NOT like avocado, so this was a bit of a bummer for her...MORE AVOCADO FOR ME! The fries were super good- crisp and tasty. Neither one of us ordered any drinks besides water on this visit, but would like to try the bar next time. Value for the dollar was great- spent about $20 per person all in (tax/tip). It was hard to peg down what the actual "vibe" of this restaurant is. May visit again on a Friday or Saturday night to see if the environment is more lively than it was on our visit. Overall, I would say that this is a decent restaurant to grab lunch when you're not craving anything in particular and don't want to wait or drive deeper into the city. 3.5 stars, would visit again.

They have a great happy hour! $10 margaritas and mules, nine dollar glasses of wine and seven dollar beers. My margarita was a little bit too sweet I had to and got more of a headache than a buzz. We got the pow shrimp, which were great. Came with seven pieces and they were a good size piece of shrimp. Then we got the three sliders with garlic fries. They were just OK. The vibe is really great here, though, sometimes they have live music and I love the patio seating! It's a very calm, classy place. I would consider bringing a date here for sure! Easy street parking everywhere. The bathrooms were clean. I do wish there was a hook on the back of the door to hang my purse but all in all it's a great place and I would go back. I would just get a glass of wine for happy hour next time.. the service was a little slow. I did have to ask for my waitress quite a few times however she was serving a large party so maybe that's why. We are going to get another drink, but it took her so long to get back to our table. We ended up passing on that.

Visited for happy hour and Sydney was the MVP again. Very friendly and attentive. We had margaritas, the House IPA, Korean Steak Tacos, Thai Chili Wings, Chicken Marsala, and Poke. The interior is very nice and a perfect location to watch The World Series.

Omg this is probably the home of the best steak I've ever had. It was soooooooo delicious. TTJ: Tender, Tasty and Juicy!!! If I could afford it I'd eat here twice a day, 7 days a week and just eat steak. The service was great. I believe they are under new management from what we're told. There's street parking or a little lot in the rear. Inside was well light but still felt intimate. Restroom was clean. Come here if you want a real good steak for a good price.

Usually go to Knoll's on First Fridays. I learned it has changed hands but still has most of the same selections. I ordered the soup of the day - chicken noodle and the happy hour buffalo chicken wings. The soup came out quick. Wasn't my mom's chicken noodle. More like yesterday's vegetable soup with chicken and noodles added. Not exactly mmm mmm good! The wings came out 15-20 minutes later. All six were semi-sauced. The carrots and celery were old and de flimsy ... not exactly appetizing. I was hopeful when they changed hands they'd stop watering down the ranch dressing ... nope! The ambiance was nice for a bar ... but please get rid of the stupid movie posters!!! Service? I wish some o. The old familiar servers were there but maybe they changed too. Disappointed. Doubt I'll be going back.

Another great dinner, I am obsessed with the Sand Dabs and vegetables cooked to perfection. Cocktails are always spot on too! The best part is the service and I have to shout out Camille who we have had as our server a few times. She is attentive, happy, consistently great at recognizing you want to enjoy your drink and appetizers before ordering dinner. Thank you Camille we appreciate you!!!!

Food is delicious! Many choices. Happy hour is great!! Staff is always accommodating. Full bar! Small but we always get seated where we want. 2 stall, women's restroom. Parking's a B!+[€. TV at the bar but can be seen throughout the restaurant. Sometimes they don't always have the wanted wine...

Took my mom for lunch for her 79th birthday. She had the Cuban sandwhich it was almost bigger than her! We tried some of the apptetizers. The calamari was good, the mac and cheeseballs were okay and the crabcakes were a little too salty. Now the drinks, they were on point Go for the cocktails and have a snack while your there.

This is, I believe, number eight in my Bixby Knolls weekly lunch with my bonus son, who is the local UPS driver. This is what we had... Asian chopped chicken salad,- B. The salad was fresh with plenty of chicken. The dressing was tasty and a little thicker than I'm used to. Korean steak tacos,- A+. I could've eaten eight of them on a good day. They are small but mighty. There are three in an order. The steak was well prepared and tender. Philly steak sandwich with garlic fries, B+. I didn't taste the actual sandwich, but was told it was very good. I did try the fries and there was lots of good garlic on there. The garlic was buttery yet crunchy. I had a beer while I was waiting. It was a Dogfish IPA,- A. I don't know which IPA it was but it was refreshing. The staff who took my order was Pam R. She was friendly and efficient, even though the place was busy and it seemed like she was the only server. There's a great bar inside and quite a bit of seating. There is patio seating as well where you can watch Atlantic Avenue go by. I can see how this would be a regular place for locals.

    Turkey brie and pear sandwich

Went to a BMW model reveal at Long Beach BMW which usually consists of a dinner buffet with open bar (gratis); however, this time it was just hor deurves so we busted that joint and I found this gem via Google... Restaurant was packed so we opted to sit outside where there was plenty of seating but no working heat lamp (was starting to get chilly). We were promptly greeted and served. Made it in time for happy hour so had the hummus app and a couple glass of house cab (both delish). I ordered the turkey brie and pear sandwich with a side salad and vin for my entree and my BFF ordered the cuban sandwich with fries. Both were very good and good sized portions! Did not opt for dessert as we were too full. Definitely a fun, classy yet casual place and would love to patronize this place again!

    Ruben R.

I absolutely love this hidden gem! It has the best vibes and you can tell they take pride in their food and drinks. I love the ambience and service. It kind of gives a cheers vibe.

Also they had the baseball game showing, another big factor to it. There's parking in the lot next to it but it's very small and share it with a few other businesses. There's patio seating along the front, the main bar area with some seating and then there's the massive backyard area which everyone was. Beside that, you could also order from the pizza shop next door with the QR code on the table and they'll deliver it to you. We ordered a couple of beers to start which you could also sample some to see which one you like. Pricewise is decent. Pretty much similar to other breweries nearby. There was also loads of family with kids enjoying their night. The back patio was packed but we got lucky with someone leaving the table. I did want a snack but trying to get the menu from the QR code wasn't quite cooperating so I had to go next door to the pizza place to order. That was an ordeal as it packed and it took forever to get the food. Anyways, we also ordered some of the bbq from the vendor which was quite tasty. The platter came with two sides which they ran out of everything besides the mac and cheese. Double that and with brisket, chicken and rib, toast, chimichurri sauce and pickled veggies. By the time we received the plate, we were quite full so only had a bite of the brisket and chicken. I'm not sure how often they have food vendors on site or if it's only a weekend thing. The place was quite fun. It's a big family friendly place so everyone is out and about. Their beer on tap choices are quite nice as well as bottled beer in the fridge. Staff are all friendly and sweet. Majority of the people were outside as it's a bigger spot. A fun place for a gathering over beer and food.

I'm a hermit, homebody, professional procrastinator, & I was repeatedly turning down a last minute night out. Either way I ended up outside in my Kirkland sweatpants, a zip up hoodie, & a KUFFIYEH. We rendezvous at the local 711 for hot chocolate and lotto tickets and decided on the Wrigley Tavern. Best decision we made all day! We sat down took in the ambiance and said "this is a nice little gem." Ordered water, wine, and a flat bread pizza. Overall we enjoyed the ambiance. The lighting is dim, the decor is nice, and the music playing through the speaker system is at the perfect setting. Loud enough to hear the lyrics yet light enough to have a conversation with someone & actually understand what the other person is saying. The wine was great, and the water was very refreshing, at the same time that we said... "this water is perfect..." The small clique on the opposite end shouted "This is the best F*** water I ever had!" The flat bread, was maybe a bit too salty, and burnt on the edges BUT let me tell you the regulars at the bar boost this place up to a 5 out of 5! While we were catching up "the clique," placed at the corner of the bar; was randomly chatting in Spanglish, and just about every other sentence was nothing but entertaining. At one point one of the guys was leaning upwards as if he was doing parkour on on his stud lady friend. And may the universe bless the flamboyant guy who shouted... "Remember when I B*** slapped you like it was a soap opera?!" A few mins later they were reenacting a Mexican-Spanish Tele Novella. I asked them for a rewind and of course I filmed it. As soon as they were done, I looked over to my friend and we both said "we're coming back!" The bartender was nice and he indeed let us know that these bar actors are regulars. Both my brothers bartend locally and you bet I sent them photos and video, asking "why don't you have people like this at your pub?!" If I could give out more stars I would. Happy holidays!

You want someone who is friendly and respectful. As we were there early, we grabbed one of the beer which they have quite a good selection on tap. There's also wine if you're not into beer. When it came time to grab some food, we were able to get a table inside. Majority of the breweries tends to serve pretty much the same things, pizza sandwiches and salads. No complaints here. Simple food goes a long way. There were a couple of us so we grabbed a few things to share. Started off with the pretzel balls with cheese dip and honey mustard and the chips with queso cheese dip. Pretzel was tasty and outdid the queso dip. Pizzas of course which were pretty big in sizes. A couple of the pizzas and a salad did four of us with leftovers. Their Hawaiian pizza was quite tasty and was finished. We also ordered one of the mushroom pizzas with an egg. It was tasty but a little on the salty side. The arugula salad was delicious. Simple but tasty. And then there was ham pizza I believe with onions and peppercini. That was also a favorite of the night. Overall, the place was quite fun. Not a big brewery and more intimate. The crowd was great and as most places are very kid and family friendly. There was couple of kids when we arrived. Service was great. Food and drinks were enjoyed and the service and staff were excellent. Street parking available along the front but also along the neighborhood.

This is a great casual place to grab pizza and a beer. Not too much seating available, so might be…read moretough for larger groups at peak hours. Super chill vibe!
