The bartenders and owner are great people and they know their alcohol. Nice dark local bar.

Cameoi, Buffalo Trace instead of Bulleit. Extremely good

I've been here a bunch, just realized I've still never written them a review, so fixing that finally. They are definitely a "neighborhood bar" first, cocktail bar second - it's a great chill vibe, the sort of place that's never too busy (at least when I've been there) and where the music is never too loud to be able to talk. Their bartenders are all great, and they have quality spirits and reasonably priced drinks. And they do *have* a cocktail list - but compared to, for instance, Wicked Wolf nearby, for similar prices, cocktails that aren't quite as complex or as exciting, necessarily, but they have all been great cocktails. I also particularly like that they have, at least at the moment, Buffalo Trace on hand, so I can put that in any whiskey cocktail for about the same price. On their current menu, I particularly liked the "Cameoi" (bourbon, basil, lemon, blueberry, hibiscus cider) and the "Conquistador" (corn vodka, frangelico, romepope custard liqueur - as-is, it's basically a drinkable dessert, which is great if you're looking for dessert, but it's also an easy drink to swap different spirits in - I've also tried off-menu versions with mezcal and with Buffalo Trace that were also great.) I have only actually gotten food here once, and it was a couple years ago - their flatbread was nothing I'd go out of my way for specifically, but it's definitely also something I'd be happy to order if I were hungry and I was here. That said, the *real* draw that keeps getting me to stop in here, is the live jazz they have every Saturday at 8 PM. The jazz trio that plays here is fantastic, so whenever I'm out that direction on Saturday in the evening (most likely because something's going on at Wicked Wolf), I also try to arrange to pop in here during the live jazz. Cocktails go great with live jazz, and they're a super talented jazz trio. (But it wouldn't be such a draw if they didn't *also* make great cocktails.)

Left one is a custom drink with tequila not sure what my date ordered lol

Did not get the chance to eat there, but the drinks were good made with confidence and precisely what I ordered as tasted. Service was good he we solo bartending and got busy a little but he handled everything well and kept walking by us. Overall I think it is a nice place for a date, it was a little dark but it set the tone to the theme, old school like bar with old movies on the tv and the music was nice , old fashion and low so you can actually hear what your date is saying. If you want to some theirs a table and chair in the back where the parking is and they have a few hung up lights so you can see the Long Beach city sky.

My friends and I came here because it had such great Yelp reviews. We were all starving, saw they had flatbreads and were excited for the outside patio. I will say that the service was great. The bartender and what I'm assuming was the owner were extremely attentive and kind. Very good vibes from them. Why I feel it was necessary to even leave a review is because it felt like false advertisement. First of all, the outside patio they once had no longer exists. It's extremely overgrown and they have legit 2 very small tables that feel like you're just propped up behind the building. We were really looking forward to the patio. It was just so bizarre. As for food, it was just not it. The wedge salad wasn't bad. I mean it's kind of hard to mess up a wedge salad. But the flatbread was so hard to eat. The prosciutto was basically Canadian bacon though don't quote me on that. Just didn't taste like prosciutto from my experience. But the dough was not just sooo ultra thin... but it was so soft and mushy. None of it was cooked all the way or even slightly crispy. The flavors were beyond bizarre together. We were so starving so we kinda just were like, F it let's have some anyways. We all felt sick after we ate it. I hate leaving negative reviews as I've been in the restaurant industry for 15+ years but this was the weirdest experience ever and I wish the flatbread resembled the pictures on Yelp and that they had an actual patio.

If you're looking for a fun and local bar in the Long Beach area, this is the place! Small seating area inside, but there is a really aesthetic, outside seating area that has a lot of space for groups big and small! The bartenders and staff are super friendly and attentive despite how busy this place got on a Saturday evening but they accommodated for my cousins party/big group so well, so huge thank you to The Wrigley for hosting us! They have a wide selection of drinks both alcoholic and virgin style drinks as well. Some of my family members do not drink alcohol so they were very accommodating on that part too. They have really delicious flatbreads also that help to curb your hunger if you are drinking a lot so definitely give those a try! Clean restrooms is a huge plus especially for a bar, the only small bit of a con would be the small parking area so I would definitely suggest to Uber over if possible!

Chill bar, bartenders always engage customers if you want them to, extra parking is in the back, 2 restrooms, they serve food, and $4 Pacificos EVERYDAY!

Definitely worth it! The vibes are unmatched. It's a unique blend of "top notch cocktail crafting" and "beer and a hot pretzel after work." You can dress up, you can dress down, it's very 'just be yourself' which I love. I've literally had caviar AND hot dogs there in the same night at an event. They know how to blend high/low. Incredible knowledge and ingredients but not snooty patootie. Super inclusive and fun, with cool popups and events happening all the time. It's a full bar so you can get any cocktail you would normally order if you're keeping it simple, or beer, wine, boilermakers, etc. There's a span of offerings and price points, so something for everyone. (Also really good N/A cocktails!) The menu is super inventive and creative! And the cocktail menu changes out every so often so there are new things to try. This area is vintage vibes and Baby Gee speaks it fluently. Really cool decor, curated by the owners who design everything from the playlist to the cocktails to the invention of never-before-seen flavors and shapes of jello shots. Try the Baby Gee appletini while you're there. Mezcal, tequila, sake appletini you ask?? Yes. Trust. And get a hot dog. Do it.

It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

There's a dress code so be advised. What I found out was the entrance of the speakeasy was through a phone booth that next to the pool table of Roxanne's bar. Once reservations is made, you'll received an email with a password to enter. Enter phone booth and to connect to the inside and they'll open the door for you. We had the first reservations I believe they opened at 7pm. We were the first group to arrive. As it was my first time, we had ordered bar food and were waiting for it inside the main bar. So half an hour was used from our time limit. The speakeasy, dark and moody but perfect for the place. Special crafted cocktails by the bartenders which were great. They also have food as well, found out later. We did try the meat pie, which it was just ok. Basically an empanadas, the pickle veggies accompanied it was my favorite. It was good but nothing major to rave about. The drinks were quite nice and tasty. What they offered on the menu did have a load of good choices. Tables scattered throughout as well as bar seating. There's a piano which maybe used for live music. Overall, the moody speakeasy vibe was great. Friendly staff and bartender made some great drinks. What we had to snack on, the meat pie was just ok. The decor definitely reminded me of my grandparents' house in Taiwan, with vintage, ornate wooden chairs, dragon/lion statue carvings, and even a historic century old marital bed that had been repurposed into a booth. The drinks were also VERY unique, with my favorite being Hua sheng (literally meaning peanut), which was crafted from a nostalgic childhood peanut milk drink. All our cocktails were crafted very well, to the point where I thought they were a bit on the lighter side since I couldn't really taste the alcohol. This section does get really busy though and only had one bartender who is making/serving drinks and taking orders, so do expect a bit of a wait. It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.

Thankfully, I had communications with said team member, but he still continuously monitored our group for house while at Halo, all the way to our reservation downstairs at the Sky Room. He was beyond crass and clearly didn't uphold the level of customer care experience most Fairmont establishments do across the globe. One bright spot was the bartender Roberto--he was a masterful mixologist and had a wonderfully kind personality that radiated to all customers. He is a gem and should be acknowledged for his level of professionalism and top-tier talents. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting again nor recommending it to others.
