I also gave the bartender $50 for two double shots Don Julio blanco the total was 40.35 I never got my change back. I also got kicked out because I fell and they assumed I was drunk which I wasn't one shot won't do anything. They are extremely rude and not worth my time nor money. Knockback Nats is a good sports bar. It looks like it specializes in nostalgia. The bar is covered with replicas of old newspaper stories. It also features lots of cheap beer. They have the usual fried foods. I wanted a local beer. It has several of them on draft. The best of these is probably Rhinegeist. It's about $5 for a pint. The usual whatever light shit beer is cheaper though. It's good if you like bars with a history lesson. There's all kinds of nostalgia. It features imitations of old clips from newspapers on the bar. There's stories about the death of Elvis, and other celebrity news. It gives you something to read while you wait for your beer and food. The food sounds like the usual bar stuff. If you like nostalgia themed bars you should like this bar. It's good to watch a game. They also have a good local beer selection. read more

I had really high hope for this place because: 1. I love chicken wings 2. I live close by But it was quite a dissatisfying experience. I ordered the wings to go. Since they said the wings are also good by themselves, I got the wings naked with honey bbq sauce on the side. They don't give you celery for the wings, just an fyi. When I opened the box, the wings looked quite sad. They looked like they hadn't been seasoned and they were drenched in oil. The bottom of the foil was purely oil. The wings were subpar, they tasted old and stale. NBD. There was little to no seasoning, ok. The bones break apart. There was some nice smoky flavor within the meat, but the skin was just greasy and covered in oil. I like mine a little more crispy. This is just not the kind of wings that I enjoy. The honey bbq sauce was pretty good, it more of a honey mustard than honey bbq imo. The wings are better with the sauce, because the sauce covers the oily flavor. I ordered a 12 piece wings, had 4, and couldn't bear myself to finish the rest. They are now sitting in my fridge and I'm pretty certain I won't touch them again. So now, I also need to deal with food waste. read more

Coming in hot with a strong opinion... Knocback Nats has the best wings in the city. These wings are smoked to perfection and from time to time I find myself REALLY craving these wings. You can get them with sauce, but before you slather them in anything, the wings are SO good all on their own. Knockbacks is also a pretty cool bar on its own, though I haven't spent any length of time inside since pre-covid.
