Almost immediately afterward, my nails became extremely thin and brittle. Since then, they have been consistently breaking and tearing. Some of the breaks go all the way down to the nail bed. It has been incredibly painful and upsetting. To understand what was happening, I went to another nail salon because my nails have always been strong. They assessed the damage and confirmed that my nails had been severely overfiled and structurally compromised. I also consulted a medical professional who came to the same conclusion. I am still dealing with pain and ongoing breakage and it's been over 6 weeks since the visit. I'm sharing this experience as a warning to both the consumer and to the salon. Damage like this doesn't just fix quickly, and it has significantly affected my daily life. I have spent $200+ dollars on products and treatments to deal with the damage and pain. For the first week, I was taking Advil almost daily. I truly wish my experience had been different because everyone there is nice, and my nails did look beautiful after the first two visits, but I cannot recommend this salon based on what happened during my last visit. I think the manicurists at this salon are capable, but they need to be more careful.

I was disappointed with the foot and heel scrub, as I didn't feel it was thorough enough. I also wasn't very comfortable with the area designated for drying pedicures, and I found the salon to be somewhat cluttered, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere I was hoping for. Another challenge was the lack of a dedicated parking area. Finding street parking was very difficult and added unnecessary stress before my appointment. Wish someone would of told me the truth about this place how unsanitary it is with a dirty looking pet around on nail tables where I would put my hands not only to mention where the nail tools are they use. We saw someone even mention a few times (3x was mentioned to staff and the manager) that had a paying customer had an allergy to the dog they didnt seem to even care. ( woman with the dog wasn't even a customer getting anything done!) Plus, been here 2x in the past and still looks dingy and handy tools in bags behind the nail tables. Hope this can help someone else since we would NEVER EVER go back here again. The manager is extremely obnoxious and rude when another customer even mentioned the situation to her ( the manager directly) and also the non paying customer with the dog. One word, the staff just ignored her ( another customer standing up to them) and DIDN'T care. Everyone left then disgusted. Great customer service. NOT!

Unfortunately, after today's experience, I will not be returning. I had booked an appointment for a color treatment today. After my hair was colored and washed, I was left in the chair with wet hair for over 45 minutes, with no one coming to assist me. I could see my stylist cutting another client's hair, so I went to the receptionist to ask if someone would be drying my hair. She informed me that I hadn't booked a blowout, so no one would be drying my hair. I was taken aback and asked, "So I'm expected to leave the salon with wet hair, in a gown and towel?" She replied that some customers do. I was in shock. I then approached someone else, and when I finally interrupted to ask what was happening, I was in tears from the embarrassment and frustration of the situation. This appointment was a birthday treat that my husband had arranged for me, and it was completely ruined. The owner was kind and apologized, drying my hair himself and offering me a 50% discount, but honestly, at that point, it felt insufficient given how upset I was. I paid, acknowledging the costs of materials and such, but I will not be returning to this salon again.
