This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to…read more I took my niece and two daughters there this weekend and very sorry I did. I have been a chatham resident for several years and just had never tried that place. I am a big supporter of local businesses, but I cannot recommend this salon to anyone as it was a terrible experience. The nail painting job was horrible. Incredibly sloppy and I had to ask several times to have areas fixed, only for them to be more sloppy after fixing! Half of the fingers were a total mess. She dropped the nail polish bottle which splattered on my daughters hands and arms and I had to clean it off when we got home (white nail polish). My niece had nail polish all up under each nail that we had to scrape out with a q-tip. It was a disaster. I paid only to go home and remove all the paint and do it myself! The salon was dirty with show tunes blasting. And she told me they only take VENMO! Beware of this place.

She fixed the broken nail on my big toe, and gave me the most amazing reflexology massage I have ever had. After my pedicure, she gave my a wonderful back massage and really worked the knots out of my back. Esther is a true gem. I encourage you to visit her, you won't regret it. Also, she used a wonderful lavender aromatherapy for my experience and wonderful heating pads for my back and neck. In addition, she had beautiful music playing which added to a relaxing and wonderful experience. Not the usual rushed experience. Thank you so much Esther! I'm not surprise you have been here for 24 years. Best, Jen Shuster

But - have…read moreyou ever felt that you'd feel horrible/responsible if someone else had to experience the same? Well, that's how I felt. I feel bad because everyone (owner and techs) was nice, warm, and welcoming. My daughter and granddaughter had gel mani&pedis while I had a regular mani&pedi. Truly these are simple services that most would expect a decent outcome. I couldn't have been more wrong. Pedicure- they actually start working on your feet before you soak them in water. The massage chair was inoperable. They used a type of rag or scrubbing cloth for heels which raised my concerns of sterilization Manicure- worked on cuticles without softening the cuticles first. Nails were cut and shaped haphazardly. My tech talked on the phone during the service By the way, all three of us had disappointing experiences. There were other things but I don't wanna beat a dead horse. I've had a ton of manis and pedis done and have never experienced anything like this. Nice people. Service, not so nice *the pics are two days post service

Took my polish off and then got my nails ready. Then they stopped and told me to go to the pedicure chair where I waited for 1/2 hour. Finally they did my pedicure by a girl with an attitude. When pedicure was done, I sat there for 20 more minutes with no one offering to do. The same girl with the attitude did my nails and was clearly not happy about it. Then they charged $10 extra for doing something I didn't ask for. All in all my nails took over 2 hours and my pedicure chipped on the way home. NOT GOING BACK.
