Didn't even touch the underside of nails to clean

I usually love this place, but today's visit was a huge letdown. Jessica did my manicure, and unfortunately, she seemed completely disengaged and unhappy to be there. The regular masseuse was giving me a shoulder massage that I paid for, but this seemed to irritate her--so much so that she barely provided any real service. She didn't clean my hands at all, which is unacceptable and also especially disappointing since I had just been gardening. There's still visible dirt under my nails and on my fingers, (see pic one and two) which defeats the entire purpose of a manicure. She applied almost no lotion and skipped the usual care and treatment this salon is known for. To make matters worse, she swatted my hands multiple times and was visibly annoyed throughout the ten min she did my nails. I requested a lighter and darker color combo, which must have pissed her off as the result in picture 3: Uneven coats (purple) , bubbling polish (blue) and an overall sloppy look (red). They were busy and I was told the owner wasn't there, so I couldn't voice my concerns in person. But be warned--avoid booking with Jessica. This experience was unacceptable. Beware!

Very accommodating to a last minute appointment and very helpful in selecting the right nail color. I'm bilingual so I communicated with the Spanish ladies who did a wonderful job with pedi and suggestions. And Christie, the nail tech was wonderful at her craft, understood the assignment to perfection! The shoulder massage was meh. Lastly, a bit pricey... unfortunately the ladies took a hit on the tip bc the price was unexpectedly super high, in my opinion. Plus tip had to be in cash.

DO NOT go here! The service was terrible and I felt bullied by my nail tech named Rachel. She was very aggressive with my nails and I uncomfortably sat through pain without her adjusting how aggressive she was being. I was not satisfied with my nails at the end and there was a lot of dried up powder under my nails that would not come off even after trying to wash my hands with a brush. Also it was very obvious that she was talking negatively about me in her language while other nail techs laughed. I decided the service wasn't deserving of a tip after all of this however I was told I have to tip at the end and so I ended up tipping because of the uncomfortable situation I was put in. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

Pretty bummed out that this place stopped working for me. I loved Lusso Nails when they had the original owners. Ever since the owners moved to Texas and sold off their business, Lusso Nails quality has not been up to par. They charge you $60 for just a gel fill-in. The last couple of times, I left with my nails sloppy and without any shine. I thought that maybe it was me, but when I got home, it was the first thing they noticed. This isn't the first time that this has happened either. So, either the products being used are faulty or the girl that used to do my nails was just careless. Either way, I can't keep spending $60 for a service that isn't $60 quality. I honestly don't like writing negative reviews, but if I am not being serviced correctly and I am being inconvenienced in finding a new nail place (which is not easy), you're getting a negative review.

I have been going here since opening and it is my absolute favorite nail salon! Everyone is so sweet, talented, and welcoming. Sam especially always goes above and beyond with my nails. Would highly recommend to anyone !!

Cannot recommend Lusso Nails enough! I have tried at least 3 local nail salons in the Morris County area and nothing comes close to Lusso. To make customers feel safe, they take temperature upon arrival and all stations are separated by plexiglass. So far I've had a full UV gel set, multiple fills, and a couple spa pedicures and I've left a happy customer every time!

What can I say.. they're great. I'm not hesitant to call out bad service or products and have several nail salons that were horrible on so many accounts. It's been yeeeaaars since I found a great salon. Keep it up guys! Rosa was fantastic

I was looking for a new nail spot…read morein Jersey (I used to go in NYC, but my nail tech left), and I really wanted to like this spot. It's clean and modern inside, but the service is atrocious. I made an appointment on 3/19 at 1:15 for SNS/ Dip. The appointment was confirmed 2 days prior, and then 45 minutes before the appointment I receive a text asking me to come early because my nails are going to take awhile. This was the first red flag because they knew what service I booked, and if 1:15 was too late, that should've been communicated upfront. I told them I was at lunch, and I'd come when I was done. I wasn't rushing my lunch for their poor planning. I arrived at 12:50 & got my nails done by Sumi/Chloe (I believe she's the owner). The service itself was fine. I liked the shape and the color, so I was happy when I left. Then a couple of days later, the top coat starts peeling off my nails, and as time goes on, it gets worse. I call on Saturday 3/28 to see if they can redo the top coat because my nails should be in pristine condition after a week and 2 days. Also, two of my nails chipped on the side, but I didn't want to make a fuss, so I just asked for the top coat to be re-done. Chloe texts me & asks me to come in after 4:30 because she's busy today. I told her I couldn't because I had other things to do & I asked her to squeeze me in. It's simply a top coat redo, it should be quick. She asked me to come right then & luckily, I was finishing up an appointment, so I went over & she redid my top coat. Red flag #2: if you mess up, you should be accommodating to the client. You shouldn't make someone work around your schedule as if I have nothing to do but sit around and get my nails done. Now 3 days later, my top coat is completely coming off AGAIN! I text Chloe to let her know, and she asks me to come in right then. Once again, as if I have nothing to do but sit around and get my nails done. I was at work in NYC & I was unable to come in, so I asked if I could come in Thursday and this was her response: "I'm sorry, but I can't fix it during the weekdays. This week is Easter week, so my schedule is already fully booked and I don't have any gaps. Please come in today". I was baffled. Once again, this was her mess up, and instead of being accommodating and kind, she's asking me to drop everything and come in when I'm not even in the same city let alone the state! At this point, I was over this experience and her. I told her never mind, and I'd figure it out myself. Of course, she didn't respond because she doesn't care about her clients. Well unfortunately, her bad customer service will affect her money because I won't be returning. In addition to the bad service, she will try to upsell you to the builder gel for $130. There's no way I'd spend $130 with this woman or recommend anyone else do so. Maybe if you don't do SNS/Dip, you'll have a good experience. But if you have any problems, don't expect her to accommodate you. Instead you'll have to bend over backwards, so she can fix her mess ups. I've been doing dip for over a year and have never had issues with my top coat coming off or my nails chipping .Typically , my nails stay in pristine condition for 3-4 weeks! After less than two weeks of going to Palm Tree Nails, several of my nails have chipped and the top coat is peeling off. They look horrible. Chloe should be ashamed of her work! My first two visits were great, but my third visit was not…read more During that appointment, the manicurist over filed the tops of my natural nails using the electric nail file. Almost immediately afterward, my nails became extremely thin and brittle. Since then, they have been consistently breaking and tearing. Some of the breaks go all the way down to the nail bed. It has been incredibly painful and upsetting. To understand what was happening, I went to another nail salon because my nails have always been strong. They assessed the damage and confirmed that my nails had been severely overfiled and structurally compromised. I also consulted a medical professional who came to the same conclusion. I am still dealing with pain and ongoing breakage and it's been over 6 weeks since the visit. I'm sharing this experience as a warning to both the consumer and to the salon. Damage like this doesn't just fix quickly, and it has significantly affected my daily life. I have spent $200+ dollars on products and treatments to deal with the damage and pain. For the first week, I was taking Advil almost daily. I truly wish my experience had been different because everyone there is nice, and my nails did look beautiful after the first two visits, but I cannot recommend this salon based on what happened during my last visit. I think the manicurists at this salon are capable, but they need to be more careful.
