Amazing customer service and accommodating staff. Clean, efficient, definitely recommend

Horrible job! Way too much gel put on my nails.

Completely bad experience here. First of all the communication barrier was terrible. The owner of the salon started my nails and then a male took over who I believe is her father. He put way too much gel on my nails. Then he tried to shape them but was filing so hard that my fingers hurt. When I pulled away and said ouch more than once he basically caught an attitude with me telling me that it didn't hurt. I was so disappointed. I called to talk to the owner who then told me to come back that she would fix my nails. The day of my appointment I was running late so I called to let them know and she told me that she had only set aside 1/2 hour to fix them so I would have to reschedule. I said no thank you and never returned.

Honestly DISGUSTED by this place. This was my first time going and decided to try it due to their COVID precautions. However, AFTER I got my nails done, THEY CHARGED $97 for a GARBAGE job!!!!! Yes they followed COVID precautions but that's about it. I booked an appointment online for a "Gel Full Set" which was $65 although it says $40 online. Then they charged me $10 for coffin shaped (which was not coffin shaped - see pics) and $10 for "advanced" design, although online says $5 for basic, I got TWO nails done, how is that advanced?? Then they charge $10 for GEL POLISH!! What exactly is included in "gel" full set if the polish isn't included? I've NEVER been to a salon that charged this much. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, the girl didn't file under my nail so they are sharp and there's little pieces of gel falling off (pics). And lastly $5 for PPE precautions - FOR WHAT?? They had plexiglass installed (not disposable so what did that actually cost them?!) and they were wearing only a disposable mask that they probably don't change. No gloves, face masks for anything like that. Highly recommend NOT going to this place.

The moment I walked in the door I immediately felt welcome. Everyone is so friendly. I had a wonderful pedicure and gel manicure. Most nail salons operate like an assembly line but NOT this one. Their prices are fair and the place is very clean. They also have an AWESOME selection of polish and gel polish. I highly recommend giving Polished a try.

I have short nails and I'm a bitter !! They do such a great job and make my hands feel pretty !

I am the worst client I'll pick up the nail filer and fix my nails I'm so picky!! BUT this is my favorite place to go I'm always happy and really enjoy it ! The prices are fantastic for the madison area !

I really liked this place! The service is really attentive and personable- and they did an AWESOME job on my nails. Complementary coffee is a big plus!! Definitely going back here. $70 for gel extensions with gel polish.

I don't recommend this place at all .

No thanks. Tiny, cramped, and not the most hygienic place I've ever been to. Plus the assistant sat and stared at me the entire time.

I feel bad because everyone (owner and techs) was nice, warm, and welcoming. My daughter and granddaughter had gel mani&pedis while I had a regular mani&pedi. Truly these are simple services that most would expect a decent outcome. I couldn't have been more wrong. Pedicure- they actually start working on your feet before you soak them in water. The massage chair was inoperable. They used a type of rag or scrubbing cloth for heels which raised my concerns of sterilization Manicure- worked on cuticles without softening the cuticles first. Nails were cut and shaped haphazardly. My tech talked on the phone during the service By the way, all three of us had disappointing experiences. There were other things but I don't wanna beat a dead horse. I've had a ton of manis and pedis done and have never experienced anything like this. Nice people. It's unfortunate because some of the employees are good but the new manager has no hospitality skills and customer service whatsoever. Since I just had my nails done last week I just wanted a color change and was willing to pay the price for a fill-in. I was told that the fillin price was $53 - fine. So when I sat down with the nail tech, she said to me, your nails are fine. You really don't need a fill-in. How about I just do a color change? I said oh that would be great. I didn't realize that you could do that. fast-forward to when it came time to pay first the manager said $75 which included my pedicure then I said $75 and questioned it because I knew that I was just supposed to be paying for a color change. Then she replied. Oh no wait it's actually $85. I stood there in disbelief and asked her to explain what could be the extra $55 charge since I only had a color change and not a fill in and a fill in would've been $53. She struggled to come up with what it was but told me that I was paying for a gel manicure price which is the gel polish, and then because I had French that it was extra. Seems like an odd amount extra but sure. OK. If we really wanted to split hairs, I could've added that got no polish for my (15 minute) pedicure. I wish I just got the fill in so that my nails wouldn't need an actual fill in within the next week and a half. Needless to say good customer service would've been oh wait you're right that doesn't make any sense. If you had a fill-in it would've been cheaper which is also what I tried to explain to her to no avail. Thanks Janes employees for your years of service. I will never be back. A lot of the older and more experience employees have also gone to new locations. Just a note.

Jean (I'm pretty sure that was her name) did my pink and white gels for the first time. I received nothing but compliments constantly, and most people thought they were my natural nails. When I first came in my nails were uneven and with the white gel Jean built extensions to make my nails even. It was time consuming, but she was meticulous and skilled. My nails were truly exquisite and I thought I don't care how much this costs, I'm always doing this from now on. I'm pretty sure she gave me a discount from $120 to $80 for the set that day. I came back for a fill thinking the white would be retouched, but it was not. For a simple fill of the pink gel over the existing gel is $35. The nails still look nice, but they don't have that same wow factor. If you want to make them work and repaint the white and pink that is $50. I was happy with my fill overall, but the gel was not applied to the base of my cuticle so my nails looked a week old. I like this place, but the second time the job was just too half-assed so I have since gone elsewhere. Pedicures are nice. The chairs are big and comfy. They cost $20 alone and $25 for mani/pedi. The only male I've ever seen works there gives amazing massages.

I feel very ambivalent about this salon…read more I walked in, totally on impulse, because I had an hour to kill before the train back to NY. I said I wanted a "Spa Pedicure" and they put me in the chair right away. (For some reason, I didn't ask how much, I just assumed around $20, because the sign outside said Mani-Pedi $25.) What followed was the best pedicure of my life. He worked on me forever! I got Saran wrap on my legs with some sort of mask, sea salt scrub, lotion massage, then he starts doing reflexology! I was sitting there the whole time thinking, "Oh my God, this place is amazing....it's like a $50 pedicure, and I'm only paying $20!!!" Except....it wasn't. So after I'm all painted and relaxed and drying, he says $50. WHAT???!!!! And I look on the wall and see, Reg Pedi-$20, European Pedi-$35, European Pedi w/Reflexology-$50. And I paid it, because I felt so stupid for not asking in the first place. So you see my dilemma. Yes, it was amazing at the time, and he was very skilled, but I felt taken advantage of since he gave me a pedicure I didn't specifically ask for. So. I suppose the lesson here is to know exactly what you are getting, and you DO get what you pay for.
