New to the area and decided to give this nail salon a shot. I hate to leave bad reviews. But - have you ever felt that you'd feel horrible/responsible if someone else had to experience the same? Well, that's how I felt. I feel bad because everyone (owner and techs) was nice, warm, and welcoming. My daughter and granddaughter had gel mani&pedis while I had a regular mani&pedi. Truly these are simple services that most would expect a decent outcome. I couldn't have been more wrong. Pedicure- they actually start working on your feet before you soak them in water. The massage chair was inoperable. They used a type of rag or scrubbing cloth for heels which raised my concerns of sterilization Manicure- worked on cuticles without softening the cuticles first. Nails were cut and shaped haphazardly. My tech talked on the phone during the service By the way, all three of us had disappointing experiences. There were other things but I don't wanna beat a dead horse. I've had a ton of manis and pedis done and have never experienced anything like this. Nice people. We returned to Ann's Nails the other day. We had a great experience. You can not beat her special price of $45 for a gel mani and reg. pedi! The Madison salons are all around $70 or more! Please don't hesitate to go. Ann has been in Madison for 13 years, which says a lot! read more

I had a great experience at Ann's Nails. The service was high quality and they didn't cut corners or try to rush you through your appointment like some other places I've been to even though it was later in the afternoon. Ann was very helpful in choosing a color and I have a couple "problem" nails with some ridges that she was nice enough to fill with sculpting gel even though I had booked a regular gel manicure. The woman who did my pedicure also did a great job. Best value in the area and I will definitely be returning. read more

Ann is a wonderful person and the work done at this salon is top notch. I had an appointment down the street and showed up and I was put off. I was quoted $95 for my gel mani and pedi. I liked Ann's nails. I used to go to Rose City but they were closed and their phone was disconnected, despite the hours posted online and at the salon reflecting that they were open. Ann's is way better- I wish I had found them sooner! The staff is very nice and efficient. There is a calm atmosphere and great deals. I was very happy with the service but my pedicure chipped very quickly. I would have given a 5 star review if that had not been the case! read more

Ran in quickly for an eyebrow wax. I was very clear that I just wanted my brows cleaned up and that I prefer my brows thick and natural. I came away with a non dimensional black line where my eyebrow once was. Not what I requested at all. I should have figured this as for a saturday at 4pm this place was practically empty. read more

I will never go to this place. My daughter gave me a gift certificate for a mani/pedi for Mother's Day a few years ago. I misplaced it and when I found it the certificate had an expiration date on it. It was about 2 months after the expiration date. I went to the salon and thought they would honor it. First the woman acted as if she didn't understand me. I asked to speak to the owner...then she said she was the owner. I asked if the salon had changed hands in the past year ( thinking ok I could understand why she was refusing to honor my gift certificate). She said no, she has been in Madison for many years. I was really upset as I feel I was robbed of the money my daughter paid for my "gift ". I've lived in Madison for 30 plus years and this is a small town. I have told many people this story. Very poor business practice and dishonest at best. I have given one star because this was the lowest rating I could give, but honestly I think they deserve a minus rating. read more

Based on all the good reviews I gave this place a try but unfortunately was disappointed . While they were very nice , my manicurist cut my cuticles so short , my fingernails are now bleeding and I am in pain . The search for a decent nail salon in Madison continues .... read more
