I came here with my 3 year old daughter last weekend for a fun rainy day activity. Everyone was very sweet and welcoming upon our entry. I asked for a gel mani for myself and a regular mani for my daughter. The staff was great with her and very patient. However, two days after my gel mani, the whole thing started to peel off! I've had gel manis last me up to three weeks. Also, I noticed all other clients got a massage during their manis. But it felt like they maybe skipped me because my child was there. Didn't receive services I booked and confirmed TWICE! Ordered pedicures and Chair Massages for my girlfriend and I and she would not give us chair massages. She said they already massaged our feet with the pedicures for 10 minutes. Neither of us received a 10-minute foot massage yet she tried to change me for it. She refused to give us chair massages which I had requested 2 or 3 times. She kept insisting on overcharging me and then handed each of us a $5 coupon. I told her to take them back and just charge me for the services we did in fact receive: 2 pefocused with callous removal. She then pushed her paltry coupons in front of my friend. My friend insisted on her keeping them and I insisted on paying for and tipping on only services received. She then acted as though there was a misunderstanding. There was no misunderstanding. Then they try to act like they just don't know the English language that well. I'm sure they understand it at the bank! I couldn't believe the nerve of that manager blatantly trying to rip me off! They seem so classy but BEWARE of Jenne's Nails! That's just highway robbery and my girlfriend never got the massage I promised her as she is going through a rough time. They're all smiling at you while stabbing you in the back! PLEASE save yourself from an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, which was supposed to just bring relaxation! I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I usually only write reviews when the place is great or just terrible and this is the worst nail salon. I've been multiple times hoping maybe I got the wrong person but EVERY person I've had has just not cared enough to do a good job. They slap the polish on messy and add too much so it chips easily/ takes forever to dry and smudges. I asked for my nails to be square and they are literally diagonal on the top. I believe this is a new owner so I hope this will be read and considered. My manicure was okay. The owner was nice. But I worried about cleanliness. The person who did my nails was wearing a smock that looked quite dirty. It was covered with smudge from....polishes? I was never asked to wash my hands. I had been doing some gardening and there were remnants of dirt and she never even attempted to clean that up. I pointed one nail in particular out, that was dirty. She did a little cleaning of that but never looked at the other nails. Finally, many salons I go to have the scissors, emery board, etc in a wrapped, sterilized wrapper. That was not the case. And the buffer she used was taken from a drawer and had clearly been used numerous times. I wish this salon good luck, but I hope I will be able to trust their cleanliness going forward. read more

Jennie's Nails is the only place I will go for my mani and pedi! I've tried a lot of places within North Jersey area, but was never happy with the outcome. My gel mani and pedi always comes out perfectly, and I love the consistent service. The owner is really nice and will check in periodically to make sure you're happy with everything too, which I think is an added touch. Last time, I decided to try out a massage at this place and was so glad I did. I left feeling re-energized! Way better that a 1 star. No complaints, stick with the ladies (all very good, pleasant, etc.) for the manicure and beware the neck massage- not free. Yes, it is cheaper to pay by cash vs. credit, but I find that elsewhere, like the car wash. I think that is fair given the credit card processing charges. read more

I went to this salon for the first time. The manicurist was questioning why I did not want a gel manicure, and only wanted a regular manicure. Later on, the manicurist was telling me to sit up in the chair. When I sat up - my legs hit her legs under the table. Customers should be free to get whatever services they want, without question, and be able to sit comfortably in the chair. The other manicurists were speaking in their native language, which made me feel uncomfortable. I don't know if they were talking about me. This salon charges a different price if you pay cash. It sounds to me like they aren't paying taxes. I do not recommend this salon. read more

I recently got my gel here and it was good. The skills are good. the gel i got had thin layers which is always good with gel and it price was good in my opinion i the same as the salon i usually go to anyways. They cleared my cuticles but not too short. And i got exactly the right colors i wanted. Unlike some where they are kind of off with the colors a little bit. Good atmosphere also. read more

Never going back! Was hesitant to go given the one bad review here, but it was on the way home so decided to try it for a fast pedi. The nail tech had hardly any comprehension of English and could not respond to my requests. I asked for callus remover and she just rubbed harder while staring at me blankly and talking to her coworker in Spanish. After awhile it was easier to get thru it silently. I ]also needed a wax but after the pedi I was afraid I would leave minus an eyebrow so I skipped it. They have a $5 surcharge if you don't pay cash (like a gas station). Sorry Jenne, but honoring all payment types is cost of doing business, . When I tried to use their ATM it was broken, and the woman in charge kept fighting with someone on phone on how to fix it for 7 mins. I finally had to ask her to please ring me up. Zero customer service and below par work. There's a nail salon on every corner, no need to go here. read more
