She is very sweet, attentive and is an artist with nails. If she ever changes salons I would definitely follow her. I started coming here because the nail salon I was going to in my home town was getting way too expensive. I was paying $60 for diamond color gel with tip every 2 weeks. The salon itself and the owners were wonderful but I couldn't keep paying these prices. So when a co worker told me how much she pays I was floored! I immediately decided to change salons. I loved my first appointment and the establishment until I deceived to have my second service... I called on Monday 4/31 to schedule an appointment for the first time in the morning on 4/2 and they offered me an appointment with Christina at 9:45 I showed up at 9:40 and waited until 9:53 am... no one was at the establishment and on the door sign and online says they open at 9:45 so it's very odd. After waiting and calling I decided to leave and they marked me as no show for something that was not my mistake. I had a gel mani done by Fanny. While I was there I decided to get my toenail polish changed, too. She was very nice and she did excellent work, being detailed and skillful. She never rushed or looked at the clock. Fanny just wanted my nails to look perfect. The shop is clean and I like that they use plastic disposable liners in the spa pedi baths to protect customers. I got my nails done for my birthday in October and left feeling a bit upset how they turned out but didn't say anything about it (Which was my fault for not saying anything to them then, I understand that) I then called to ask if it was okay to go back and take them off and get a refund that very same day but then the person I was talking to started yelling over the phone and saying you can come back to take them off but you're not getting the refund. I don't think screaming at me just because I didn't like the way the nails turn out is professional and I will not be coming back because of this. The lady on the phone was very rude. Even though I was the last customer in the salon at 7pm on a Wednesday they did not rush me and completed the manicure as if I were the first customer in the salon that day. Very nice, but a few issues. Water in spa pedicure was ice cold. She went crazy on the cuticle trimming and now I have hangnails everywhere, one of which is infected. My gel nails were supposed to be light pink for a wedding, but she didn't put them under the light long enough and they came out maroon/brown. The gel itself looks very good and is good quality, just issues with the color and cuticles. If you're in a bind and need to get your nails done, it's not terrible. read more

I've been going here for years.. Even when they were in Morristown... I recently got a pedicure here and got ATHLETES FOOT!!! I dont play sports and i'm not athletic. I keep my feet dry and clean. I went to the dermatologist and she said that's it's most likley from a pedicure. Every time you go they should be using a brand new file not one that is used on everyone!!! this is the easiest way to get Athletes foot! Make sure you see them use a brand NEW emery board!! I was in somewhat of a hurry so I couldn't drive to my usual place so I figured how bad could it be? I was initially turned off by the heavy smell of acrylic -- I understand that acrylic has a smell to it, but a little ventilation goes a long way. I've never been to another salon that smelled so heavily of chemical. I waited a short time for someone to become available but that's not necessarily a negative - it happens everywhere. What I did consider to be a negative though was the constant feeling of being rushed. The girl saw there were other customers waiting maybe, so she tried to rush through my mani/pedi, or whatever it was, but the whole experience was the opposite of relaxing. The foot massage/lotion part of the drill -- my favorite part -- was approximately two minutes in total. Barely an attempt. I also actually had to ask her to cut my nails, because she just started filing them without bothering to ask what I wanted. This is actually something I have never before experienced, but again, I felt that it went with the being rushed theme. As to the final result, my splotchy manicure and pedicure held up pretty well without chipping for about a week, which is why I give it two stars at all. I went there a few times and it really depends on who does your nails, this place has no consistency in their work. The pedicure is usually done right but the last couple of times I have been so disappointed. I just got my gel manicure, and the lady did a sloppy job, half of the nail bed is not even covered. Kinda wanna go back and ask for a refund especially she didn't cut my nails, didn't file or cut cuticles right, I asked to remove dead skin and she made me bleed. Last time they made me bleed too which really concerns me. I'm so glad Sister's Nails Salon opened back up after their previous location (Elm Street in Morristown) was closed down due to a fire that hit a few stores on that street. I've only been to their new location once, but I was satisfied. It's definitely bigger and cleaner than their previous location, and looks a bit upgraded. The location is pretty decent also because you're able to park in the metered parking lot across the street by the Dunkin Donuts. Okay so let's get to the review of my experience: I think I got there around 4 pm ish on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all. I believe just 2 other people were there either for nails or waxing. I entered without an appointment and was prompted to choose a nail color. Their nail color selection is okay, I wish they had more variety for gel colors. I usually just come here for their gel manicures ($25) because they do a decent job and everywhere else around the area is $30 + for a gel manicure. Anyway, they have their gel colors in one swivel rack and once I picked my color, my nail technician was waiting at the table already. I forget her name, but I think she had a cold that day and wore a mask. I mentioned in my last review of their old locations that they have their metal tools in a basket that doesn't look too sanitary (but I am not sure if they sanitized them prior to use - they might because I see the sanitizing equipment in the back so I would like to hope they do). They do massage your hand with lotion that smells wonderful and the manicure has never lifted or chipped too badly (lasts 2-3 weeks). Overall - thumbs up :) read more

The pedicure was unlike any I have gotten before and I should have stopped midway through like I wanted to. The cuticle cutting was painful and not done correctly. I was in town for work and stopped in to get a gel mani. I only waited 5 minutes, not bad for a walk in in the middle of the day on a Thursday. The manicure was a 5 out of a 10. Sloppy and rushed. My pinky was bleeding a little at one point. The people seemed nice but not much as far as customer service. Christian music playing throughout my experience which can be either your cup of tea or not. This was my first time here. I took a chance per pictures and the only review available at this time. I walked in and two people were already in their chairs. I immediately was able to get a pedicure the minute I walked in the shop, which is awesome! There are a few things that I would suggest they would have to make some adjustments to. First, it is known that most nail salons will have a sudden rush of customers to attend to, but to have a lack in able bodies available is still a peeve most people can agree with. I unfortunately had to sit and wait for my manicurist to return from waxing another costumer for more than 20 minutes, which took a massive chunk from my time and parking meter across the street behind the Dunkin Donut lot. If someone else had been on hand to help the customer waiting to be waxed I would've walked out with more than enough time left in my meter rather than having to stop mid- manicure to feed my meter so I won't get a ticket. That is truly my only complaint. The young lady who manicured my nail was very diligent and considerate. I was able to pull open a picture, though simple of a design, she was able to perfect the style! Very pleased with my nails!!! Now on to the pedicure ... A few things I think they should incorporate in the pedicure should be an exfoliating scrub for legs and feet. They should also be using hot rocks for both legs and feet which can help the circulation. They also should spend a descent amount on massaging while they apply lotion and the final thing should be using the hot wax applied on one's heel for the final smooth result. In all very, very happy and satisfied with my service. The final results of both manicure and pedicure is wonderful. I look forward to possible changes with the suggestions above. I hope they take Yelp's services and reviews into consideration because this is one major tool that helps the rest of us consumers and retailers for future business. read more

This place is good for pedicures but I don't recommend for manis of any kind. A few months ago I went for a gel mani and I wanted my nails round. The woman doing my nails filed one hand and didn't file the other I'm not sure why. I wanted to tell her that she didn't do it but she did not understand English very well. A couple weeks ago I came for an acrylic fill. I had wanted my nails shorter and the woman doing my nails gave me an attitude for wanting my nails cut just a little bit shorter she then asked me if I wanted my nails round and I reluctantly said yes because of what I experienced last time. She showed me one nail that she filed and it was great and I wanted them all to look like that. When she was done some were square and some were hardly round. I told her I wanted them more round and she filed some more but the shapes didn't change. Each length of my nails were all different. I had to go home that night and file my nails at home which caused me to mess up the gel. On top of that she put the acrylic on so thick and then she filled the top of the nail so think that in a week my nails looked like they were grown out for a whole month.
