Natasha was extremely thorough with my intake, making sure I'll get exactly what I'm looking for by creating a detailed profile of my skin type. The laser they use has a constant cool stream, which is a HUGE improvement over the lasers with short, hot bursts I've used before. I will say that I have a very high pain tolerance, but I'd take the cool laser any day. I felt very safe visiting their spa. Before my appointment, I was asked to fill out a COVID risk survey, and they took my temperature at the door. They offer packaged discounts for multiple sessions, and I was able to tip using Venmo instead of cash.

She's genuine and honest about expectations and reality of what procedures will and won't work for you as well as what you need to do after to ensure your service is going to work as it should. She takes her time and makes sure you are comfortable, answers questions where you can understand in "lay terms" but also she is clearly knowledgeable about the medical elements of laser etc. I've been 2x and both experiences have left me relaxed and feeling flaaaaat in the tummy. Very clean environment but not sterile and "medical" where it feels like you're at the doctor. I've also gone for botox and cannot begin to tell you that the practitioner is top tier. Again, sweet, honest, knowledgable. She has the lightest touch of any injector ive ever been to not one second of discomfort or tenderness during or after. And I am the exact level of "frozen" I wanted. She took her time and explained her theories on tox and listened to my questions and concerns after having seen many injectors over the years. Reasonably priced as well for all of their services. I highly recommend!!!

I'm back, two years later to write a fresh review on YMK Aesthetics, this time around I was able to…read moreexperience her aesthetician side by booking the dermaplane facial treatment in preparation for my wedding! I should also mention that I had the honor of being one of her last brides ever to have her make up done by Yumi. She's no longer doing any bridal make up and instead, focusing all of her efforts on her suite. Background: My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive. I have acne rosacea which means everything in the world is a trigger to my skin (oily food, stress, sweat, heat, fragrance, people looking at me the wrong way, you name it). I also suffer from dry patches (smh). Because of this, I'm always wary about new products and any sort of facial treatment. Before my treatment, I let Yumi know of this and she actually steered me away from a more expensive treatment I was thinking of booking to dermaplaning instead. I love when professionals do this because it lets me know they care, they listen, and they want the best for their clients too. The treatment was fantastic. She is so easy to relax around and so personable. Afterwards, my skin was GLOWINGGGGG and SO soft. BUT as we all know, skin quality takes time, consistency, and effort. I unfortunately didn't have time to schedule more facials so on the day of my wedding, although 85% of my skin looked great, I still had some pesky dry patches around my mouth/chin. Usually I would've freaked out but I trusted my whole life in Yumi's hands and let me tell you, she worked MAGIC on my face. Maybe it's because of her expertise in the field of skincare but by the time she was done with my make up, not a single. dry. patch. to. be. found. See the attached photos as proof T_T All that to say, Yumi continues to be one of the most incredible humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and experiencing and I am so thankful she is in this field.
