Best & easiest neighborhood place to go! Very reasonable & they are a staple in Summit for a reason!

Been going for years, yes sometimes I do have to wait an extra 15 mins later than my appointment is, but Annie will always make sure your nails are perfect and that you like them. She never rushes, and makes sure they're up to her standards too-- you'll be here for 1hr+15min for a fill. I've tried other places, and none of them seem to beat Annie. read more

My friend and i scheduled an appointment for 6pm. We came about 15 minutes early, and were told to wait. After about an hour passed waiting, they finally began to do my nails, leaving my friend waiting an extra 30 minutes. I had told the lady doing my nails that i wanted a fully white chrome look. She assured me she had the exact chrome effect i wanted. Once my nails were done, they had a sparkly glitter finish instead of chrome. I brought this to the attention of the lady who did my nails, but she claimed "it is the same". Usually i am not very sensitive about the end result when getting my nails done, but being my first time getting acrylics, paying $75, leaving the salon more than an hour past closing time because employees were "backed up", and leaving unpleased with the final design.... I am honestly not happy with my experience at this salon. read more

Annie is so talented and creative! She's the best! Her gel manicures last a very long time!

Used to come here often for eyebrows and manicure. My last time in here was when one of the owners asked me if I was pregnant. Thought that was offensive and rude. I won't miss this place as I've found somewhere better. Plus, she is always texting while doing my nails which makes the process take even longer. read more

My final straw was when I called, made the appointment (she asks me to come early,not the 1st time, I'm there and she's not..yet.)and mid-way through a Caucasian women comes in and she tells me to move and wait so she can take care of her. (Again, not the 1st time). WOW . I understand double booking but to me it felt like the white women was put over me when I was already in the middle of getting my services done! I shouldn't even give one star. I went here on Saturday for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Yesterday (Tuesday) 3 days later, my gel started chipping and I took it completely off. The woman doing my nails cut my cuticles so harshly that she cut me. It really hurt! Also, the place is not clean at all and their color selection is awful. I don't recommend this place to anyone ESPECIALLY for the price. read more

This is my nail salon of choice. I've tried several salons in town over the past 5 years and I think that Fantasy has been consistently good for me. I see Maria for a fantastic spa pedicure. I pay the "extra" for the spa pedicure because Maria does the best foot and calf massage which I always look forward to. I love the salt scrub which is perfect for dry skin after a cold winter. They also offer hot stones after the scrub with a light foot massage. I go to Sandy for my gel manicure. My gel manicure usually lasts me 3-4 weeks.. sometimes I go sooner just because I want a new color.. I love the selection of colors that they offer. If you want to have Sandy work on your nails, it's best to call ahead. She's usually busy so an appt helps. Finally, I get a quick eye brow wax from Sandy after my nails are done and she always does a fantastic job on my eye brows. read more

My daughter went here the other day and I was pretty impressed with the longevity of her manicure. A lot of times you get a mani/pedi and the nail polish chips right away. Nope not in this case! I decided to give it a try and I was pretty pleased. The place is small but cute and clean. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I was able to get done right away. They have a good selection of colors and brands. I would go back again and get another service. The prices are reasonable especially for Summit. It was $30 for mani/pedi can't really beat that. They have me sold. Hopefully my nails lasts as long as my daughters have. read more

I have had two bad services with Annie. Both times she has cut living tissue around my cuticles causing them to bleed. Her practices are unsanitary, not cleaning tools after each customers and having Neosporin on hand, indicating this happens frequently. I cannot recommend this salon due to its poor practices and unprofessional staff. read more

I've been going here for over 20 years. I moved 20 miles away and still come to see Sandy. I get gel polish and it lasts up to 4 weeks. I've tried other places and they are nowhere near as good as Sandy. I highly recommend Fantasy Nails, but make sure you make an appointment. I went there last night and had the WORST experience. I went for a manicure and pedicure and got to the salong around 6 PM. They did not tell me that they were closing soon and took me right in without a problem. The girls doing the manicure and pedicure were not gentle at all and were talking on their phones while providing my service which is not professional or relaxing. I got a mani/pedi at the same time and when I was done they just walked away and left me on the chair with my bag without helping me at all to get the dryer. I thought they were just going to do something and would come back so I sat there for a few minutes and then realized they had no intention of helping me get off the pedicure chair with wet nails and toes trying to also carry my bag. Of course I smeared a nail going to the dryer. Then I dried for maybe 5 minutes and then they said "ok Miss we need to go". It was 6:40. I don't know what the actual hours are for the salon but I thought the hours I saw online were that the salon was open til 7. (And if was earlier then they should have told me they would do my nails but I might not have enough time to dry). So my nails did not even have time to dry and they basically kicked me out of the salon. Again I ende up smearing another nail which I then asked them to fix. The girl dabbed on some more polish over the smudge and then they basically walked me out now with an even wetter nail. This was horrible and I would NOT recommend this place. read more
