I was excited to try Klatch seeing that they apparently have high standards for the coffee they use and roast. Unfortunately for me, while I can tell that the coffee is good quality, for some reason it makes me jittery rather than giving me a good euphoria. The Pacamara and the breakfast blend I bought and made at home are smooth and flavorful, but just don't agree with me. Even worse, the cappuccino I had here was very bitter. I hoped for more since the baristas seem to be trained by a champion barista. And reading other reviews the way espresso is pulled here seems to be an occasional issue. Service was friendly and great. The shop itself is welcoming and has plentiful seating. I recently tried a cappuccino at another shop which used Klatch, and it was much smoother. But this is when I realized that for some reason Klatch beans don't work for me. Just a personal thing. They dont take amex and require $5 minimum for credit. read more

Stop! Put down that Starbucks cup and come get yourself some real coffee. Klatch Coffee has some of the highest quality imported coffee I have tasted in a long time. They have the typical coffee brews available everywhere; but they also have some very unique varieties, such as the Javalicious Shake, The Chippuccino, which is like a Cappuccino on chocolate steroids, the Javalanche, which is a lowfat vanilla blended coffee, among many others. They also offer healthy food options, and fresh-baked pastries. If it's your first time there and you're not sure what to get, I highly recommend trying the Javalanche, which isn't very strong or overly sweet, and a warmed up Cinnamon Twist, which is wonderfully light and flaky, with a perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon flavor. And don't worry, they'll warm it up for you. However if you're feeling adventurous and need a caffeine-kick, I suggest you try one of their house blends, which tend to be stronger and more exotic in nature. Either way, you can't go wrong with this place. Finally, the baristas here, are super helpful and extremely sweet. Last time I was there, the girl who attended to me not only gave me exceptional service, she even wrote up a cute little slip of paper with an awesome quote, & a personalized message complete with stickers. And best of all, she got my name right. Take that, Starbucks! P.S. Try their award-winning signature drinks. They're a must-have for any avid coffee drinker. read more

***Sam Smith voice*** Now that I've got you in my space...I'm Klatching on to you! Klatch Coffee is liquid gold as far as I'm concerned. My father told me about this place, bringing me here years ago...Dad loves this coffee too. These days, I'll meet up with friends or closeby family when I pass through town. I love their seasonal lattes and black iced coffee. There's a great convention to Klatch, that's both socially sustaining and socially engaging. People love it here - the cool baristas, various seating arrangements, and of course the brews. There's no complaint coming from me, Klatch Coffee is just the best. read more

Wow. I ordered an iced coffee and I'm no coffee connoisseur but it was so smooth and almost creamy. No sugar, cream or milk necessary. It's perfect black. I paired it with the monte cristo sandwich. For about $5, it was the best decision ever. The sandwich is like a breakfast panini. They cut it up into strips so it's easily dip-able in syrup. Really tastes so much better than it looks. The coffee shop doesn't look like much from the outside, especially in San Dimas next to a Dress Barn but the coffee and food offerings are spot on. The employers here are genuinely nice and helpful. You won't find any snobby baristas here. Definitely will become a regular here. read more

Klatch coffee is in the same plaza as target and Trader Joe's! It's on the less busy side away from all the grocery shopping patrons. Parking is ample as this plaza is HUGE. Customer service: super friendly staff! Smiles all around and they're happy to answer any questions about special or the seasonal drinks. Coffee: This is one of the few places that has nitro cold brew on top that I know of. I got the Capp on tap, which is a cappuccino with some milk and lightly sweetened. I enjoyed this because it wasn't overly sweet and doesn't have much milk as a latte would. I would much rather go here than Starbucks! The environment has a coffee shop vibe, where everyone's either reading, studying, or getting some work done. read more

My co-workers have been raving about this place and I am so glad I was finally about to go! The drinks here are SO good. First off, I love that they have a huge selection of take-home coffee beans to buy there. There is a good variety of different coffee from everywhere around the world. A great present for any coffee lovers out there! I ordered the creme brulee latte and it was just the perfect amount of sweetness for me. I love my drinks really sweet though, so if you do not have a sugar tooth, I would recommend the other drinks. It had a really nice design on the top and you can tell the baristas put in a lot of effort in every drink that they make. The prices are a little on the higher side, but I do not mind paying a little more for better quality drinks. Service is great and they don't hurry you to order or anything. There was plenty of sofas and chairs to sit down. This is an ideal place to study or catch up with a friend. I cannot wait to came back again! read more

Klatch Coffee or Coffee Klatch as it was once upon a time. Arrow Hwy offramp off the 57 in San Dimas, same plaza as Target and TJ's. I don't know why it's taken me so long to come here, probably because the outside is so incredibly understated looking. You can't even call this a hidden gem anymore, it's one of the better coffee holeups in the area, people hookup for free wifi... Definitely a better alternative to the mermaid if you're in the area. My initial impression is that the place has a nice vibe and is populated with local coffee connoisseurs, it's nice to not be a line full of teens and young adults holding up the line ordering a bunch of blended drinks; I doubt that Americano is even in their vocabulary. Don't jump all over me for calling the (coffee) kettle black, but I stop short of calling it hipster-ish... I'm not a purist like the missus, I usually take cream and sugar in my coffee, probably to the dismay of my doctor but I enjoy the soothing taste of a nice cup of joe. So far I've tried the Mexican Mocha which had bits of actual chocolate in it and was not overly sweet, but lacked a spicy punch from cinnamon or cayenne that I was expecting. Perhaps I could have added cinnamon on my own or asked them to make it spicy. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, particularly about the beans... They change-up the menu regularly, offering seasonal coffee drinks. I'm game for a gingerbread latte and I'm curious about the Horch-atte. The place also seems to have better than usual bakes and sammy offerings the smell of which always wafts over the interior, though I have yet to indulge. Klatch is a coffee oasis in the area where there are very few true competitors like it... read more

Klatch knows how to serve a good cup of coffee, traffic through here can be a nightmare though.

I had the pour over Costa Rican. This review is just for the coffee. My small cost $4.50, which is expensive for a watered down cup of Joe. One person took the 12 oz container of beans already pre measured, I assumed. I asked why it was packaged like that, just left out in the open. I doubt those packages Re air tight. Anyways, grind it, and pre wet the filter. Another guy, doused the shit out of the Hario Buono. What's the point of using a Buono if you're going to pour everything at once? Why not use a clever? They sell it. At least he bloomed it for the first few seconds and then doused it like it was on fire. Any who, yes I'm snobby. I like my coffee, no I'm not a hipster. My review is only for my experience of how they made it and taste. I don't mind paying a lot if people take the time to make it with accuracy and not state "it helps us when we get busy to have those containers." I don't care if you won second place or 8th for espresso for the barista cup in 2003 or 2007, unless that person is making my coffee, then ok. If it's the employees riding off the baristas curtails then don't make me pay for something totally not worth it. Matt Perger, where you at? read more

Wait times can be a little long but the coffee is always bomb. They always get my coffee perfect.

Yelpers recommended the patio special. Now its my new favorite coffee. I entered this really clean place around 9am and I found people reading and sipping coffee in peace. I was greeted with a warm smile and "hello" by a friendly worker. For $5 the patio special is like the caramel frap at Starbucks but for adults. It's really good and very hard to pinpoint the flavors. It has a really smooth coffee, toffee, deliciousness. It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet where I Also comes with whip cream. Real whip cream, not that cheap plastic tasting crap. The REAL THING. I forgot how good real whip cream tasted. Downside: it gets expensive for fancy coffee. read more

Nice and convenient little coffee shop around San Dimas. Very hip! Location: I really like how such a hip place can be so close to where I go grocery shopping (aka Target) and a cheap little pizza shop by the name of Little Caesars. Who would have thought a cool coffee shop corner would be located next to so many main chain businesses. Environment: This place isn't too noisy and isn't too quiet. It's just right to lounge around and hang out. I would both study and bring friends here. Food: My SO and I ordered from the seasonal menu; my SO getting the Sweet Shot and myself getting Real Pumpkin Latte. They were both good drinks and would definitely order the Real Pumpkin Latte again. The only reason why this place doesn't get five stars instead of four is because my SO's drink had too much ice and not enough drink. Other than that, I would definitely come back to hang out and/or order some coffee. I just gotta remember to request to go light on the ice. read more

Got the vanilla latte. Not bad, but Urth still beats this place. Great place to study, though I think their internet usage is maxed at 1.5 hours. Had Klatch bookmarked for so long that I almost forgot they exist until I pulled up Yelp when I was in the area for work. Although I already had a donut earlier in the day and have well exceeded my sugar intake, I decided to grab an iced Creme Brulee Latte to accompany me on the ride home anyways. I am so glad I made a stop because the latte was yummy! It was rich, creamy and not overly sweet. The drizzle of caramel around the cup gave it just the right amount of caramel flavor. I would definitely be back to try their blended drinks. The Patio sounds and looks delicious. Their pastries especially the scones also look very good and hopefully I will be back in the area soon. One thing to note is that they do have a small charge for credit card transaction under $5. I was too slow to react and realize there was an additional charge when the guy simply asked me if the amount was okay. I should've read the sign. read more

Oh. My. God. The coffee is so BOMB. I've been hanging out a lot at coffee shops lately. It's a little more relaxing to study there than the old library at cpp. Lol. Decided to drive down here since it's something different than most of the other coffee shops I frequent in the area. Finding the place is pretty easy. It is a bit on the smaller side, and was fairly packed when I went it. I was unable to grab a seat & study :( the decor is pretty cute. The staff here is pretty sweet and friendly. The guy was asking me what I studied & seemed very nice. I decided to order a large Iced creme brûlée coffee. Holy crap. This is AMAZING. It's like liquid crack. It's pretty much iced coffee with caramel but hot damn. I don't know how they make it, but it's absolutely delicious! You can taste the coffee and caramel. It's a beautiful symphony of flavors. I downed it within 20 minutes! I immediately wished I bought another one. This is a cute little coffee shop in the San Dimas area. I wish it was a little closer to me, but I'm definitely think it's worth the drive from my university. I highly recommend the iced creme brûlée coffee. Great coffee, cute shop, sweet staff. I went here for the 1st time today. I definitely won't be going to Starbucks anymore when I'm in San Dimas. The pastries were DELICIOUS!!!!!! We ordered the Cinnamon Twist and the Cappacino Muffin. The server suggested dipping the Cinnamon Twist into our coffee, and we followed her advice - WOW! So gooooood! The Cappacino Muffin probably was the best muffin I've ever eatten before. It was so moist, fluffy, not too sweet, full of flavor, and the muffin top was nice and crunchy. I highly recommend going to Klatch Coffee just to eat this muffin! I'll definitely be coming back here more often. We ordered a cappacino and decaf cafe latte. Both seemed not as Starbucks, so if you want your coffee lighter, you'll like the coffee here. Only qualm I have is if you have the coffee for here and served in the ceramic cups, the cups are kind of small. At Starbucks, you get a MUCH larger cup. read more

Klatch Coffee has been a staple coffee stop for my wife and me. Their service and coffee are both amazing. I have been a regular for the last 3 years. Every time I have visited any of the locations at Klatch I have been warmly welcomed by their knowledgeable staff, served some of the best coffee I've had, and left excited about the thought of my next visit. The facility has always been clean. Espresso bar, lobby, and restrooms have been well stocked and regularly cleaned. I enjoy their uncompromising quality and attention to detail with their roasting and drinks. This is one of the best coffee shops in not just in the inland empire but in Southern California. Klatch coffee is a must try. Enjoy! No other vanilla bean latte with oat milk compares. I wish they had more locations closer to West Covina because I would be there everyday.

This is my favorite Roaster and Coffeehouse. Their staff is helpful and friendly. They have superior coffees (check them out online in Kenneth David's coffee reviews. I've never seen more 90+ reviews than at Klatch, and they are small roaster compared to most). One of their guys, Todd, won the U.S. Brewers Cup Championship this year (and then went on to Italy to place 8th in the World Championship in Italy.) You can order their roasted (or Green!) beans online. they roast locally here in Upland. Heather, one of the family-owners (and also a national champion barista) mentioned they are moving the roasting to Rancho Cucamonga. They have 3 locations (Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas) but this is the largest and possibly my favorite. But about the important stuff. Best cappuccino's anywhere. Sweet and Bright. Lots of other delicious foods (sandwiches, coffee cake...). I love their Nitrobrew ice coffees, especially when their East Africans are available.Try their BruBar Geishas (Geishas are crazy expensive so I do this once or twice a year...but it is always worth it). At the end of the day I keep coming back for the cappuccino. Better than Intelligentsia. Better than Stumptown. Yea...that good !! read more

I've came here a few times and the taste of their drinks have never disappointed me. Make sure to check in because you get $1 off a seasonal drink ! ~Location It's located in the same plaza as target, but this plaza is huge so it's on the far end. Parking has never been a problem for me because the lot is big enough to always have parking. ~Service The people who work there are super awesome and friendly, no complains. ~Cleanliness Overall, the place was very tidy. The counter & tables were all spotless. ~Drinks My special friend & I ordered from the seasonal menu. I ordered the sweet shot ($3.95). It was a double shot of klatch espresso shaken with condensed milk, served over ice. And my special friend ordered the real pumpkin latte ($4.70 small) which was made with klatch espresso & sweet milk. My drink was super delicious so I finished it in probably less than 10 minutes just to find out that two-thirds of it was just ice. I was pretty upset about this. I'll definitely come back, because the drinks are good, but I'll ask them to go easy on the ice next time. read more

I bought a Panama Elida Natural and was charged more than the price tag. If I had known it was $19.99 for 12oz I'd likely have chosen another coffee,.but I was at the register and once the nice girl rang me up, I brought to her attention the price sticker is $15.95. She just said that's strange, our Panama Elida Natural is $19.99, which isn't true, unless they just changed the price this week, because I have bought this coffee 2 other times in recent weeks, and it was $15.95. She didn't honor the price and said it's $19.99, which is against the law. They still make good coffee, but I walked away feeling a bit ripped off. read more

They were really friendly as I walked through the door. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, as I had been discussing it and the Mayan Mocha from Peet's with a Yelp friend. It wasn't expensive, and the person behind the counter asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I wanted it cold. They had a few drink orders in front of mine, so it was a while. Three people were working but only one seemed to be making drinks. It was interesting to watch her working the ingredients. Mine was ready and I immediately managed to turn it on its side but without major spillage. (Ask me about bouncing a Coca-Cola glass across a hard tile floor without damage.) The person on the other side of the counter used a towel to get that side and I noticed more and asked her for the towel, so I could get the rest. Ugggh. I got a straw and didn't cause any problem and hurried outside. As I tried the coffee, it was granular. Apparently, the mocha bits were not able to be dissolved completely. I see it occasionally with some coffee places. The taste was good but it wasn't as great as I had hoped. read more

I think I am quite particular with coffee, but I am no connoisseur. Klatch has such eclectic offers of coffee beans, reminds me of the hipster coffee shops like intelligentsia. I had a Ethiopian brew, it was really earthy and the acidity really comes through. Adding milk just really tames that acidity, but I do not prefer it, unfortunately. I guess I should stick to more American/Asian beans!! They have pour over styles, brew, espresso, almost any way you want it! If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stop by. read more

I visit Klatch about 3x a week and have been doing this for 2 almost three years and I visit all 3 of their stores (Rancho, San Dimas, and Ontario). I live this place and i often rave about how good their coffee and espresso are and how great their staff are. However lately they've had quite a bit of turnover and what is seemingly an uptick in their business. I feel their espresso drinks are pretty inconsistent now. I won't mention any names but certain baristas are consistently excellent and some are mediocre at best. In San Dimas I was rather irked as after waiting 15 minutes my traditional cappuccino finally arrived only to be 3/4 full with poor loose microfoam, while it should have been full to the brim with dense thick microfoam. After already waiting 15 mins I couldn't wait longer for a remake so I just sucked it up and just took it. Last weekend i went to the Rancho store for lunch. Ordered the espresso lime coffee cocktail. I saw someone order it before me so I did the same. Mines came out different from the person before me as it was made by a different barista. It was missing the mini straw. Not a big deal I thought but when I got to the bottom third of my drink, all the simple syrup was left in stirred. So damn sweet can't drink it so I just threw it away. Now I know why they give you that mini straw. read more

It's been almost 2 years since I was last here but this past weekend's visit was just as good as I remembered Klatch to be! The friend who introduced me to Klatch is a total coffee connoisseur. Though they are called Klatch Coffee, their signage says Coffee Klatch and are located right next to Little Caesar's. Seasonal Bee's Knees Latte (lg) Latte (lg) They only serve drinks in 2 sizes, small and large. No medium sizes here! I am one who will always try something new, even though I may or may not like it. So I went for it and ordered the Bee's Knees Latte. There is a nice subtle taste of honey and orange. Very smooth and very balanced. Love how there is never any bitter aftertaste after each sip. Seating here on a Sunday afternoon was very limited. Maybe one seat here or there at one of the long tables. Right now, they also have a newest blend of three African beans: Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. Good quality coffee and not too expensive. Perfect balance of flavors and smoothness! P.S.
