I LOVE THIS PLACE. Being a Cal Poly student, this place often saves my life as it is only a 10-minute drive from school. After being a Starbucks addict for several years in high school, this place definitely an upgrade (now I can't drink Starbucks coffee anymore). The coffee quality here is very on point and the staff is very friendly. I love ordering the mocha and cappuccino and their seasonal drinks. I recently had their Chile Caramel Latte and man did the spice kick me in the back of the throat! I recommend trying that seasonal drink if you're a spice lover--if not the spice may kill you a little. Besides drinks, they also sell a good variety of beans grown from different places. They also have a lot of art from local artists displayed in the store. They even have live music on selected days! read more

This review is solely for the customer service, although everyone was polite, there was one customer in the shop that had already ordered and myself.. I put my order in at 1:46 pm , waited a few, another customer came in, ordered , and then I watched the girl start my drink, after it had already been a few minutes and there were no other customers in line, another customer came in to order so macy walked away from the blender that my drink sat ready in, took their order, retrieved a curbside order and brought it out to someone's car, while she was outside her coworker noticed and poured my drink and gave it to me... I walked out at 1:59... I understand it being a smaller more intricate coffee shop but 15 mins for ONE blended drink with one customer waiting in front of me... it would be nice for them to focus on one customer to get everyone out in a timely manner vs starting one thing and not finishing it before starting another, if you're not proficient in multi tasking, don't. read more

Besides Dripp in Chino Hills, this is my go-to weekend coffee place. Starbucks is just not my cup of tea and I've been pretty unhappy since Peet's coffee closed near my area. If you have a sweet tooth like me, you should definitely try the following: creme brulee latte honey bee latte white mocha latte Now, if you really want something dessert like, you must try their "patio special" which is like a shake. Ice cream, shots of espresso, and I'm guessing oreos?? Well whatever it is, I prefer mine without the whip cream. It is oh so delicious and not overly sweet. A must try if you feel you deserve a treat. I've also tried their tomato and cheese breakfast melt and turkey sandwich melt and both have been tasty. If you want something with your morning coffee, I recommend their cinnamon twist or cappuccino muffin, warmed up :) As for the service, don't expect to get your coffee as quick as you may get it at Starbucks or Coffee Bean. I've had my order messed up a couple of times and even change from a $10 bill not given to me. The cashier immediately closed the register and continued on to other work. I had to call him back to remind him. I just give the benefit of the doubt that it's pretty busy and there are a lot of orders but still. Overall, the workers friendliness makes up for that and of course, the coffee. 4 stars for the coffee. 3 1/2 stars for the service. read more

Been coming here for years. I've tried countless speciality coffee spots all over LA and this one has stolen my heart. At any given time they offer three roasts for pour over, each very fresh, well balanced, and complex. The Panama Elida has to be one of the greatest coffee roasts around. My friend took me here for a morning cup of joe and I decided to get a tomato melt as well. I got a large iced americano, which was a bit acidic for my taste, but I still enjoyed it! The Tomato Melt was more like an open faced sandwich. a few slices of tomatoes with provolone cheese on a onion bagel. It was a little bit on the soggy side, probably because it was in my to-go container but still! It's cheese! It was a busy Sunday morning, but that didn't stop the employees from being friendly and knowledgable. I observed an interaction with one of the baristas on bar with a customer that deserves praise. The customer came to the hand off bar to grab her specialty drink, the coconut lime one. The girl looked at the drink and gave her friend a puzzled look. In the midst of the madness, the barista on bar looks up and asks the girl if she had had the drink before. Girl says no, and the barista proceeds to tell her why the drink is crafted that way and how to drink it. I liked that she did in a non-condescending way and this way the customer is educated without feeling stupid. Kudos you guys! read more

I LOVE coffee, but not super knowledgeable about it (yet). I like how this place is local and features unique coffees and roasts from around the world. My friend and I didn't venture too far out on the flavor profile for our 1st time here (we got the ICED LATTE and ICED COFFEE), but whatever was brewed to make our coffees tasted strong with bold/deep flavors, which I personally enjoy in my coffees. As for the food, I recommend the VEGGIE SANDWICH. It was freshly prepared and tasted great. It came with 2 types of cheeses of your choice, sprouts, avocado, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, onions, and mustard. My friend had the CAPRESE PANINI, which she was thought was just ok. Sandwiches come with a juicy pickle. I wouldn't recommend studying or doing school work here, which was the reason why we came here in the first place. The wifi is slow, shotty, and goes out quite a bit. It got to the point where we got frustrated with the wifi and ended up leaving after about an hour and a half there. As for tables, there is one large rectangular table that seats 6+ people and a round table that seats about 5 people. There is a couch that can seat about 3 people and 2 arm chairs. There are about 3-4 high tables to seat 2 people each and about 2-3 square tables that can seat 4 people each. There are also about 4 bar seats next to where they make coffee. There are plugs here and there. Others details: there is plenty of parking, it's easy to find, it has close access to the 57 freeway, and the baristas are helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I also think the ambiance is nice to grab some breakfast and read the morning newspaper, but not the best place to get some school work done or surf the internet. read more

The workers are extremely friendly and it seems like they know a lot of regulars who come here, I mean I wouldn't blame them they make some pretty good drinks! Klatch coffee is a pretty unique coffee shop. I came here to study for a couple hours and was extremely pleased with the stores ambiance and modernity. The staff is really on point with their friendly service and knowledge about their coffee. The cashier made a clear effort of knowing my name and personality, which you don't see very often. Not only do they tell you clearly how their coffee tastes, but also how it's made and why it's so unique. It was actually pretty impressive how enthusiastic these guys are about coffee. I was recommended the Christmas blend which at first tastes kind of funky, but after a couple more sips it grew on me. It has a very subtle coffee taste and strong sweet tint of cherry and peach. I would recommend it to anyone who likes coffee on the sweet side. I also got two cookies, the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Very delicious cookies! Usually I'm a die hard chocolate chip cookie lover but the oatmeal raisin took the win at klatch. One thing that bothered me was the $5 minimum for card usage. They roast their own raw coffee beans and also sell them in take out bags, whole bean or ground. Sometimes the local coffee shop is the best place to unwind or do homework. Klatch was just that place for me. Sometimes the overbearing smell of Starbucks and the amount of people are unpleasant. The locale feel of Klatch made me feel right at home even though I'm not from the area. They are really friendly and helpful in selecting the right drink for your taste. Coffee tasted really rich and the selection of blends were really great. I just wish there were more places to sit! There are only a handful of tables and high chairs to choose from so if it's packed, there's no luck sitting down anywhere unfortunately! read more

I always wanted to give this place a try and finally got to a chance to. It was my first time here so i appreciated the baristas friendliness and patience with me when I asked for recommendations. I personally like drinks that are more creamy/milky, and she recommended the oat milk Capp on tap (cute name). It was definitely lighter than I expected, not watered down, but just a lighter coffee. It was tasty, something I wouldn't necessarily sip on for a long time, but actually drink like juice. It's not a drink that feels heavy. I wouldn't mind if the coffee or milk flavors were stronger. The other drink I tried was the salted caramel cold brew with foam on top. The foam was tasty, light and airy with a hint of vanilla, but again the coffee itself was pretty "light" in flavor. I purchased a pack of the Panama Elida Natural Catuai beans to try, I'm excited to see how it will taste. Overall, I'd recommend this place to someone who likes their coffees on the lighter tasting side. The staff here were great. Inside a plaza with free parking lot. read more

Won't accept cash unless it is exact change! Which is ridiculous , debit card and credit card machines didn't work. AC doesn't work. Selection: This is my coffee place of choice. I always try something different here and definitely a better experience for me than other coffee shops. I love the Thai Chi Latte, Mexican Mocha and trying a cup of something from their special menu is always good. Baristas are a little slower than those "other coffee shops," but they make up for it in their service. Atmosphere: It is never super crowded here; we can always find a seat, even if it's for a few minutes. I love that they bring in local artists to showcase work; it adds charm to the place. Finding my fun little coffee shops on a trip is my favorite thing to do. This location however would not be what I would call a cozy, clean place with good coffee. The inside was cold, and packed and the bar area we did find to sit was dirty as well as th. We ordered food because we had a long day ahead of us and even though the sandwich was pretty good I wasn't impressed with the dirty for I got that was sitting right on top of the food. A corporate chain, but in a good way. A nice alternative to Starbucks. I loved the decor. Lots of white, lots of wood, with accents in kid's-crayon colors. The overall impression is very clean and professional. My latte was just the way I like it. I've been trying out new coffee bars lately, and so far, this was the single best-tasting coffee. They use a somewhat different plastic lid, with a hole in the middle so the aroma can reach your nose. I think it actually did make the coffee taste better! (Though, if it tipped over, it would spill more. Life is full of trade-offs.) The menu includes not only coffee, but also breakfast items, like egg-based sandwiches and avocado toast. Prices were about the same as anywhere. Service was friendly. If it wasn't a 15-minute drive from my home, I'd become a regular. read more

After a few bumps, it seems like Klatch has addressed some of the issues I've encountered and really maintained their spot as the best coffee shop in the area. We love their sandwiches and order from them online almost every week. You must try anything with avocado, you won't regret it. Great espresso drinks (esp. lattes) done the right way with LM machines! Award winning roasted beans. The House Espresso is perfect for home made lattes. And, tasty sandwiches...the Catalina Club is our fave! I've been to coffee lounges with a bit better ambience, and CK could use a little more decorating comfort in that arena to help it be a little more inviting and "cozier". BEST COFFEE EVER!! We enjoy coming in and breathing in the sweet smell of fresh grindded beans in this place. The staff is friendly and will even tell you what they recommend if you cannot decide. Was looking for a coffee shop in the area to get some work done and I found this place. When I came in the late afternoon, there wasn't a lot of people but it definitely got crowded as it got later. I ordered the seasonal favorite "Bee's Knee's", which was a latte with orange and honey. I thought that the drink was pretty interesting with the orange, though the orange rind made the drink a little bitter. Also, all the honey sank to the bottom so I ended up with a pool of honey at the bottom of my cup. I wouldn't really recommend the drink I got unless you love an orange taste to your latte. However, I'll definitely come back here and try the mocha. What I did like about this place though was the baristas. The guys making the drinks in the back were really friendly, and this place is a pretty good place to study. Again, this place does get crowded though and it's not an extremely huge place. Something to note is that they don't take card under $5! So be sure to bring cash if you're just ordering a drink. read more

Some of the best coffee and drinks I've had in the area. Come here right after church and right before Sunday brunch and you can't go wrong. Check in the first time you get there and you get a dollar off any specialty seasonal drink. So I've never done it before but I decided to give it a shot this time. I tried their Cooling Coconut Lime drink, and I'm thankful I did cause it was their very last one for the day! and I can see why, considering how refreshing it was. It is coconut mile with klatch espresso served with a lime wedge in more or less a cocktail cup. It was amazingly refreshing and enjoyable to drink. I didn't think I'd like it to be honest, but I'm happy I got it. Try it before the season is over! All other times of the year, I really like the creme brûlée there. It's always delicious.
