Loved this breakfast spot! It was kinda hidden and had a great water view. Loved the lobster benny and the blueberry mascarpone pancake special! Would definitely suggest as a good breakfast spot to go to in the area and called ahead which was helpful!

Such a great breakfast spot. Now located in a marina. A larger Location than the old one. With outdoor and indoor seating of the marina. Everything is fresh and tasty. The place gets packed so there could be a wait but it moves fast. Cinnamon roll French toast is a must if you have a sweet tooth.

Glad I finally made it. Tried to go Sat and there was an electrical wire down that closed the one road there. I had better luck on Sunday. Arrived around 930am to a 30 min wait. It's a popular place. Everyone was friendly and welcoming- I noticed the host briefly stopping at tables to chat with guests by name as he returned to the host stand after seating diners. I figured they were regulars- but then he stopped at my table a few times and checked in with me, using my name. I was impressed. It was very busy but service was excellent. My eggs Benny and the side of fruit were delicious- got biscuits and sausage gravy to go. Huge menu selection. My server brought me a 'to go' cup with lid when she noticed I hadn't finished my iced tea. Little things like that matter. Cute place- would definitely go back. Highly recommend if you're in the Mystic area. Plenty of free parking.

Kitchen Little is that ol' reliable that is always packed. Why? Because the only other breakfast joint in Mystic is the Mystic Diner. (Sift is phenomenal but I have a hard time classifying it as a breakfast joint.) It has a large, finely tuned menu with the occasional standout special. But while one walks away full, the flavors aren't that memorable. Service is typically fast, courteous, and with a focus on getting folks out the door to address the growing line outside. Thankfully they have some seating outside that overlooks the marina, which on a nice day is the place to sit.

This place was as good as everyone else has written. Although it's not to say that some groups may have had not as good a time. The vibe is cool. It's a small restaurant and does have outdoor seating (although methinks some are saved for regulars. And rightly so!) Service was great. We chatted for awhile with our server (maybe too much ). Food was really good--really crispy bacon and the jalepeno hash browns, yum. Only objection came from the cinnamon swirl pancakes. My kid thought they were on the small side. My lobster benedict was delicious. Anything is better with more lobster but it was enough. The plate could have benefitted with a small salad or microgreens. Would definitely return!

Such a hidden gem in the Mystic Marina. As a tourist traveling to Boston we asked for recommendations and got this from our waiter. He said it's a "locals only" The menu is overwhelmingly delicious. We had the #8 and 18. Super delicious No Bad Days is a great way to do business

#ThisFeedsMySoul - Status Conferred Surf & Turf Benedict I Cynivised this dish by changing out the boring English muffin for the Portuguese muffin; that change elevated the dish. The filet was tender even though it was cooked well past medium. The hollandaise sauce was thick, which worked well surprisingly. The lobster side was excellent. Pancake I am glad they had an option to add just a single pancake. The pancake was light and airy, buttermilk delicious. Not a fan of the log cabin syrup option. Bob He is the best hostess on the planet. His energy is infectious! Super friendly, efficient and rolling people in and out. He was cracking jokes and made the wait time fly by. Location Backdrop of the marina is always a nice view. The locals pack this place and I see why. While there was a small wait, they turn over time for the tables is impressive. The servers all work as a team to crank out the food, drinks and keep people eating quickly to move them on. The kitchen rocks out the food lightening fast and it was still warm. I love that it is actually a "little" space and from what the locals told me this is the new larger location, which still only had about 16 tables. Totally worth heading over there to start your day!

Had a great breakfast with family! They are a bit of a smaller place inside so they had to break us into two tables but it was totally fine. I had the kitchen sink omelette which was so good. It had everything I wanted all tucked away! Others got lobster Benedict which they loved and said it was their favorite meal of the trip ! They have great views and a nice parking lot ! You can always walk around and see the boats while you are waiting. The staff was so kind to us too with two small children. We would definitely go back.

I really liked the ambiance of the space, it's quite comfortable and has a nautical aesthetic. We were sat in a cozy little corner by the window, a great spot for watching the bustling of the little seaside town. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the restaurant's offerings, noting in their introduction that the focus of the menu is on fresh local seafood, and that everything on the menu is freshly made in house. I was very eager to try a cup of the clam chowder for an appetizer since many other reviewers have said that it's some of the best they've ever tasted, and after trying it for myself I'm more than inclined to agree with them; it had a perfect consistency and excellent flavor. Boyfriend wanted the fried mozzarella so we got some of that, and that was pretty tasty as well. Boyfriend got the chicken parm sandwich for his meal and I got the fish and chips. I didn't end up trying the sandwich, but he said he liked it. My fish and chips plate was pretty good; the fish tasted just a tad under seasoned to me, however the flavorful tartar sauce helped with that and I could tell the fish itself was great quality. The hand cut fries were good, but I wasn't really a fan of the coleslaw. Overall we had a pleasant experience at The Mariner. A very good choice for fresh seafood and a relaxed vibe. I'm sure I'll be in town again at some point; if I come back to The Mariner, I'll make a point to get a bowl of the clam chowder instead of a cup, because that alone is absolutely worth returning for... but until then, I'll be dreaming about it.

The brunch menu offers a nice assortment of options as we had one member in our party who had some eating restrictions. We started off with both raw and roasted oysters, both of which, we some of the best we have ever had. I love Shashuka. I've never had it with tomatillos. This version is now my favorite. I enjoyed the play between savory and acid. I chose my eggs to be prepared over easy expecting the yolks to add the desired richness that tomatillos can handle without overpowering their bite. What set this version apart for me was the addition of the pickled vegetables. They greatly complimented the tomatillos with their own sweetness and acidity that made for a well balanced bite. Others in our party felt similarly, that their meals were so flavorful and so well execucted that it made for a superb dining experience.

In the interim I have only had two chowders that I would even put in the same league. Last night we had dinner here, and everything was excellent, the atmosphere was of course as wonderful as always. The only disappointment I had was the quality of the chowder has taken such a drastic turn. It was very onion heavy (my daughter thought maybe leeks) that I couldn't taste clam at all. It was also very thick and gluey. Lastly (and I know this is the luck of the ladle) if I got any actual clams, I didn't notice them. Clearly a lot is going right in that kitchen, but I think the head chef needs to go back to the drawing board on the chowder. For such an icon of a restaurant to be serving that chowder is a true shame.

Six of our party were in the restaurant on time. But four of our party arrived at location on time but were a little late (20 mins) getting in due to virtually no parking available. They eventually had to park at a marina among the boats and walk. During our wait, we were informed that we were only allotted two hours for our reservation by the waitstaff and then the management, rudely I might add. After we finished dinner, we were asked if anyone wanted dessert. Some said yes. The waitress left which we assumed to get dessert menus. However after a rather long delay she returned and informed us that we couldn't have dessert because they had another reservation. At this point, we were only 20 minutes past our ALLOTED time. We left and agreed that was the last time we would ever go the Daniel Packer Inne. When the reservations were made we were not informed we were on a strict time limit. If we were, we would not have chosen DPI as our party was from three states and coffee and dessert would have been nice before the long trip back home.

Haring's has a terrific, classic New England location in Noank right along the Mystic Harbor. It's a touch north of Abbot's, and is where Ford's used to be. Our family was on a boat and looking to dock for lunch. The Captain's first choice for lunch did not have dock parking available, and I recommended Harings based on social media posts. The Harings employee who helped us dock was very nice, helpful and hard working. He was probably the high point of our experience. We were told that since he had a boat, we would have to eat on our boat and they would come to the boat and take our order when it was our turn. From the point we were told that, here was our experience. Nobody came to take our order for about 45 minutes. I went to the desk and they apologized and sent someone to take our order. She was friendly and helpful. We were told it would take about 30 minutes to get our food. It took longer. A boat that docked about 30 minutes after us had their order taken within about 15 minutes, and they received their food 10 minutes before I had to complain that we still hadn't received any of our food. The person I spoke with was friendly and our food arrived soon after I said something. The food, which was not inexpensive, was not spectacular. Certain items were not delivered. My son said his fries were not warm and were undercooked, and his $18 chicken sandwich was much smaller than cheaper sandwiches he normally orders. The people who ordered hot lobster rolls said they were OK. At this point, so much time had passed, that we did not have time for them to correct these issues. I ordered the Bisquets and Gravy, which was a 1/2 pound of lobster, lobster bisque and cheddar biscuits. The bisque was average. It could have been better seasoned. There was a lot of lobster, but at least some bites were overcooked. The lobster wasn't well seasoned either. The highlight of my food was the oysters, which was a substitute for the scallop crudo they had run out of after I ordered. I have the sense that the people who helped us, wanted to provide good service. It just seemed like the structure of the service was disorganized, and you never knew if they had forgotten you or that was just the normal lag. I ultimately concluded it was mostly that they had forgotten about us. The location is fantastic. Perhaps the food is better when the business is less steady. I did not see enough in this visit to return. This was probably my least favorite New England water side food experience in years. Especially at this price point. 2.25 Stars
