Kitchen Little is a nice little place that's only opened until 1pm, although most of its menu consists of breakfast items. No fancy Bloody Mary's here, just good old fashion breakfast. The menu can be overwhelming at first glance but that's the fun of it. There are mixes of pancakes, french toast and eggs any way you'll like it. The best part is that the cooks in the kitchen executes each thing perfectly. Scrambled eggs are perfectly cooked. Not too well done - just enough run. I had 2-eggs, sausage links & toast, my hubby had 3-blueberry pancakes that he fully enjoyed. We sat outside on a beautiful day & looked over the marina. Everyone, you need to try it. This restaurant was very good! I've been wanting to try it for a while. It's located right by the marina and has beautiful views of the water. The menu has both traditional and non-traditional breakfast options. My husband got the Portuguese breakfast and pancakes. He said it was the best breakfast he has ever had. I mentally grumbled when hubby suggested we go to this somewhat out-of-the-way place for breakfast on our drive home to Philadelphia from Newport RI. I would have been a fool to not go along! I LOVE eggs Benedict and their lobster Benedict was one of the best Benedicts of my life!! The hollandaise is homemade and perfection, the lobster plentiful and fresh. Oh my, so delish. The waitstaff is the best; our server even gave us a local tip for a lovely spot to visit for water views and gardens (thanks!!). The owner/host is a hoot and a sweetie. The marina views are idyllic. Might not be wheelchair accessible as the restaurant is on the second floor (exterior stairs for entry) and there is a store underneath. Meals are pictured. I really liked that they had blue plastic cups; I know it's not anything special but I just really liked the color. Food review: Waffle with fruit 5/5. Wasn't expecting the bananas on top but still good. Blueberries were nice and ripe, very fresh. Heart Healthy Scramble 5/5 only suggestion is adding a fruit cup on the side to balance the vegetables. I absolutely loved the place! We had a long wait but it was totally worth it. Food was so delicious. Service was very friendly and efficient. Since we waited long, I was worried that we won't make it to our next schedule on time. But once we were seated, food came quickly yet still hot and amazing. We finished our brunch at no time since it was so yummy and moved on to our aquarium right on time. Also one more plus is this restaurant is located in most adorable place in Mystic. Getting there was fun. I highly recommend Lobster Benedict. It is incredible and reasonably priced compare to other places. Blueberry muffin was also good. My kids loved it. P.s. The atmosphere is super friendly, from the host, who may, or may not be the owner, to the servers who ensure your visit is all you could want. The menu has a lot of interesting items, all of them delicious. I'm extrapolating, and I haven't tried them all. Yet. Everything I've had has been delicious, though. Teeny place right on the water. We arrived at 8:50a on a Sunday in December while there were plenty of tables. They quickly disappeared in the next ten minutes! There's more seating on a deck overlooking the water in the warmer months. There were so many servers who welcomed us and took care of our every need throughout our stay - very attentive. The menu is extensive and everything we ordered was superb. One of us ordered the street tacos which came stuffed and sitting in a taco tray. Another made his own omelet which started with a base price and added on by item. Another had the heart health scramble. I had the Mexican eggs which were delicious and came in a small casserole dish with a kitchen-made tortilla chip. So yummy. There's nothing you want for breakfast that they don't offer! For my birthday my S/O and I drove 3 hours from eastern Long Island so I could take her to the place I've been bragging about and dying to take her for 4 years. I had my mind set on eggs Benedict the entire drive. We arrived at 12:10 to be told from the deck above, by presumably the manager, that they closed early at 12:00 pm for the Columbus Day / indigenous peoples holiday. He apologized and suggested I try another place up the road. When I told him I drove 3 hours for my birthday breakfast he responded with "sorry". We spoke with another couple in the parking lot who arrived at 12:01 and were turned away. Their drive was only an hour. There were other people walking to the restaurant while we were walking back to our car. I understand it's a business and I may sound entitled but why would a business turn people away who drove very far over 10 minutes? For one minute? We could see people still enjoying their breakfast in the dining room. There was no mention of early closing on their website and I believe they don't accept reservations. I have been there several times and I was really looking forward to it. We won't be back. read more

Setting was beautiful. WARNING: 1. Tables are NOT PROPERLY disinfected. A bar rag was used to clean our table. When asked to disinfect the table better, the ONE wipe was first used to wipe the seats then used on the glass table top. One bar rag and one wipe! WOW 2 Staff (numerous) were not properly wearing their masks. 3. People were allowed to wander into the dining room to use the rest room without masks.
