    Death by Chocolate ice cream

This small cafe is the only one in this tiny town.. All locals known everyone in the cute place. They serve breakfast and lunch. Desserts like ice cream, cookies and muffins are offered. Small gifts are also for sale. There are tiny booths and a counter to eat your meal. The owner was super sweet, We ordered a tuna salad sandwich, egg salad sandwich and fried egg sandwich. We also took home some Death by Chocolate ice cream. The meal was good. The ice cream was delicious with dark chocolate chips and rich creamy ice cream. Street parking and as advertised no WiFi.

A great location, perfect hometown vibe... oh, and delicious food! My wife and I make this a regular stop every single time we're in the area. Carson's is a small, hometown diner that is small inside but worth any wait you might have... and even if there is a wait, it usually isn't long - as people tend to move pretty swiftly in and out of there. The service in there is always great and the staff are very friendly. They make you feel like a regular even if you only go once or twice a year. The bacon pesto Benedict is one of the best breakfast items I've ever ordered at a restaurant... yes I said that. It's absolutely amazing. This particular time, my wife also got the sweet bread French toast. That was insanely good as well. They always hit the spot with their food. Cooked perfectly and just the right portions. I can't wait to head back to Carson's the next time I'm in Noank... I couldn't imagine skipping it!

Aloha, when visiting Mystic and Noank CT Carson's Store is a must for great breakfast or lunch! This Tim we did lunch (although I do love their lobster omelet). Root-beer float, lobster-rolls and really yummy lobster avocado sandwich. Everything is delicious and generous here. One of my must-dos when in the area. Enjoy!

Food was ok but overpriced. Service was terrible. We sat at the counter for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us.

Great food and atmosphere - nice little historic luncheonette with a traditional ice cream / soda fountain. Should be more places like this.

I was grateful due to the fact that my phone was dying. She handled the bar with ease. Most people seemed to know each other and were very pleasant. I saw a couple pool tables to the side. Keno was playing but I'm not sure what else they offered. TV's were on playing sports and the enthusiast were really enjoying the game. I had already eaten so I can't tell you about the food but from what I saw it looked delicious If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stop in and hopefully it's Erin's shift.

The inside is really interesting, everything from old farm and country décor to hubcaps on the walls and you can immediately tell it's a local favorite with a lot of regulars coming in and out. The setup is pretty cozy with counter seating facing the kitchen, several booths, and a few tables. I actually enjoyed sitting at the counter because it gave me a full view of the open kitchen and the pace of the restaurant. While I was there, they had several cooks working along with a few servers/runners, so it was busy but still manageable. The menu is mostly breakfast classics; eggs, home fries, Belgian waffles, French toast, pancakes, etc. along with some larger specialty plates like the "Kitchen Sink" that looked huge. I ordered the traditional breakfast with eggs, fries, toast, and coffee for around $15, which honestly felt pretty reasonable these days. The food came out quickly and the prices overall seemed fair. Where things fell a little short for me was the service. My plate sat on the line for close to 10 minutes before my waitress remembered it was there after answering phones, checking people out, refilling coffee, and helping other tables. When she finally dropped it off, she didn't really acknowledge me or ask if I needed anything. It then took another several minutes to get butter and Tabasco for my toast and breakfast. I also couldn't help but notice a couple of food handling things since the kitchen is fully visible from the counter. The cooks appeared to wear gloves consistently, but I never saw gloves being changed, and some of the servers were preparing toast and fruit bowls while actively touching food without washing their hands in between tasks. That was probably the biggest downside for me personally. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience by any means. The atmosphere is unique, the prices are fair, and you can see why locals enjoy it. For me, though, I'd probably try a few other breakfast places in the area before making this one a regular stop.

This is an unassuming bar cafe in a strip mall…read more I would say that Sneekers is loaded with regulars and locals. One of my friends recommended this place to me. So I went. Like I said, it's a local bar that serves decent food. I ordered the Rhode Island clam chowder and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for about $15. I also had a local craft beer. The craft beer was suggested by the waitress and was cold, and on point with a citrusy flavor. It was really good. Nothing seemed to hit me on the menu so I went with Rhode Island clam chowder to compare, that included a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. The Rhode Island clam chowder was OK. But the grilled ham and cheese was on point, that included lots of cheese, and a smoky ham. I like this. On a cold and damp day like today, I couldn't think of anything better than soup and a grilled cheese. This was comfort food. So if you're ever in the Groton area, and you're hungry and need a beer or a cocktail, this would be an OK stop. There are other choices I would like to visit, so I'm sorry to say this is probably a one and done for me. The place was dimly lit, I didn't have a chance to check out the bathrooms, but I did happen to notice the adult only store a couple doors down to the left of this place.
