Hannah was a personable attentive waitress . The restaurant was fairly empty as it is a Monday morning and graduation was Mother's Day weekend. The owners have done a beautiful job making the large space look bright and colorful. We should have tried one of the Turkish specialties but opted for a yogurt cup with fresh fruit and granola and a cheese omelet. Both were fresh and tasty. Oh dear breakfast, how I love thee so. The first meal of the day, to open the day and break the fast, and so many good flavors on the table. I mean, C'MON!! Look at the photos of what I had in front of me this morning. It's not even noon yet and I'm already posting about this place (cuz I don't wanna forget it - and remind myself to return next time I'm here in the area). The tea, so wonderful. My tomato menemen, perfect - but I did do a mod with simit instead of the sourdough bread - and ordered extra yogurt and kibbeh (vegan available) for the table. It can be hard to find a place for breakfast without a wait on the weekends. Not only were the six of us seated immediately, the food and the service were fantastic. I imagine that people shy away because it's a Turkish place. They have all the eggs, pancakes and sausage that you want (satisfied my boys), and all the interesting ethnic food for the curious - ME! The service was amazing and food even better! Halle was our server and was very sweet and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. Chef Trex delivered the food himself and explained everything. I can't speak any higher about the taste of everything, from the lavender latte, to fresh cut house fries and gourmet omelets. Wow! What an amazing breakfast! We called and found out they have gluten free bread so it opened up the menu for my Celiac daughter. The food was delicious. I had the feta and spinach omelet with home fries. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly. I had beef bacon on the side which was very good (I have never had beef bacon and it was so flavorful). My daughter had the avocado toast and husband enjoyed menemen and a Turkish coffee. We will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend this restaurant - it's in such an unassuming location in a strip mall with Giant so don't let that deter you. read more

Lunch for three. Our first experience with Turkish food. Meneme( eggs with tomatoes and peppers and spices) was excellent as was the soujouk and bastirma ( sausages). Waitress was friendly and helpful with our ordering. Great eating experience. I wish them luck! Our first time visiting with friends. The four of us were looking forward to brunch but were mostly disappointed. I ordered the Turkey Pastrami sandwich. The description states a toasted bun with "stacked arugula" ... check their menu Look at the photo (check Google review) and see there is only one slice of pastrami on the bun, which could have been sliced from a slab you would buy at your local grocery store. Two more slices of meat and I might have been happy. The tomato was the size of a large half dollar. You can see by the size of the fork that the sandwich, which was halved, was quite small. When questioning about the amount of meat I was told that that is a "more traditional" sandwich. That response alone made me feel like an idiot. No establishment should place one thin slice of meat on a sandwich and then tell you it is a "more traditional" presentation. Our friends ordered the Mediterranean Salad and the Menemen. The salad toward the end had to be eaten with a spoon, and the Menemen was notably lacking enough egg to even be noticed. I admit the Ayvalik Toast sandwich our last guest ordered was very good, a proper portion with noticeable meat. Service was good. The place is clean and inviting. I wish the food and the high prices were also. read more
