My goodness! The Greek is amazing. Was absolutely craving this meal and it hit the spot. 100%! I loved the platter. The serving sizes are just right and filling. We did pickup and the food was great by the time we got home and settled. You must have the baklava cheesecake and the tiramisu is a cloud of heaven. My boyfriend was happy with his meal and helped me with mine. We both were super pleased with our meal and he said inside the restaurant looks nice. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to come back!

We took our daughter, a PSU student, to dinner at The Greek. Our reservations were for a Friday night, and we were promptly seated upstairs. Keep in mind, the restaurant is BYOB. Had we known this (it was impossible to figure this out from reviews and their website), we would have brought our own wine. Nevertheless, we each ordered a glass of local wine which was reasonably priced but just okay. Our food, however, was delicious. We started with the chicken avgolemono soup (my daughter even ordered one to go) and enjoyed a variety of dips along with a mountain of pita. They were all delicious. We also shared chargrilled fresh squid and shared a Greek salad. Service was friendly and efficient.

Very welcoming interior, And real grapes growing over an arbor before you walk in. Nice service, good food, pleasant atmosphere and good prices. Very filling too. We had a nice time as our extended family enjoyed their time tasting all types of cuisine samples. Nice we could bring our own wine too, but if you don't, they have some service to provided it.

Went here a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how good it was. This is definitely a gem in State College. My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary dinner and got the dolmades, halloumi fries and spanakopita, I would recommend all of those. Everything was well seasoned, fresh and decent portions for the prices. The service was great and food came out pretty quickly, especially since the restaurant was fairly busy.

Hands down best Greek food in the area. I live in NYC and it is just as good as any Greek food I have had there as well. Highly recommend the spicy feta dip. My favorite that I have ever had. I also recommend the traditional gyro - it is full of flavor. Always a stop when I am back in State College.

A hidden gem in Happy Valley! The Greek is tucked behind Waffle House and opens up into a huge restaurant that is completely Greek inspired in decor and delicious food. We had a variety and nothing disappointed. My favorite was the dip sampler and the stuffed grape leaves but the gyro was also very good. Gabi was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. They have a range of food options at all price points but you could easily have a very affordable nice night out. There is lots of seating and a very affordable drink menu (a bottle of wine for $14) to choose from. A great option for sit down dining or take out.

Excellent menu, service, food, ambiance- 5 all around! Loved loved loved the spicy feta dip. Dolmades we're pretty average but still good. I had the shrimp kebabs which came with grilled veggies and a side salad which was all delicious. Truly authentic Greek food in the State College area, there's nothing else like it around!

Four sauces and warm pita bread was pretty good.

Good food and great service. This is family owned and run, but well! BYOB or wine is great!

The spicy foods were actually spicy, and the falafel was fresh and not dry. Definitely my quick go-to salad/ fresh bowl place for now. It is cold and cafeteria-style. Great option for state college. 4/5 Ambiance: modern/ industrial fast casual looking interior- tile-like wall is pretty, as are the jars of pickled vegetables and the cage lattices separating the dining high tables. Overall a clean feel and not too sterile feeling, though it may be on the border of being a bit too-bare-bones. This is the kind of place I could see bringing someone from out of town to. Music was really loud, as seems to be the style at these kinds of places, which could make quality conversations hard to do. 4/5 Service: Service was good. I ordered three bowls and they were served promptly. It didn't seem like anything special to make the dish, the server was literally looking at the recipe on the receipt and putting scoops of each into the bowl, which makes sense, especially for custom made bowls. This destroyed all imaginations of a chef custom making a dish to be tailored to the seasons, etc but the food was still tasty. (0/5 Bike parking: after looking I couldn't find a place to secure my bike) 5 : I will actively tell other people to go here 4 : I am happy to go back. 3 : I will go back if a friend suggests it. 2 : I will go back if someone is really insistent. 1 : I will not go back.
