I really think this place is fantastic. I've been once for dine-in and once for takeout (so far) and managed to try quite a bit of the food, which has all been excellent. Standouts for me were the lamb shank, which had a fantastic sauce and an entire bulb of roasted garlic. The appetizer sampler was also a great way to try everything. The mint-eggplant dip with bread is something so unique and interesting, I've been thinking about it since. The interior of the restaurant looks great, you won't be out of place dressed up for dinner or stopping by for a casual evening. The service was very friendly and we got great recommendations from the owner. I will say it's a new place and they're working out some kinks in terms of service timing. The food was fantastic and we weren't in a hurry, but if you are takeout might be a safer bet. With that being said, it wouldn't deter me from going back in the slightest. The food was very good. We shared the appetizer sampler which had two different eggplant dips and a lentil soup with naan. Then shared a combo kebab the chenjeh soltani kebab which was one veal kebab and one ground lamb and beef. Personally I wouldn't need the veal kebab again but the lamb and beef one was absolutely amazing. At the end the owner or manager (not sure) came by to check in. She recommended the zereshk polo with chicken so that will definitely be our next try. Sharing the app sampler and combo kebab was plenty of food we were both stuffed! Also tried the Doogh. Yum! Sarah greeted us, explained our options since we were new and had never eaten here before! We ordered the spinach yogurt dip with pita and it was good for our appetizer. Then we split several different kabobs so we could experience all the different types. The lamb was everyone's favorite for sure! The rice with the berries is a must but the homemade ice cream was a great way to end our lunch. We were able to bring home just enough for one more serving for dinner the next day too. Definitely get in here for lunch! read more

Had a nice visit with my two friends at this restaurant tonight. We had a great multi-dish appetizer with two eggplant dips and a lentil soup. My friends each got kebabs with rice. I got a marinated chicken that was super soft, and the sauce had a hint of sweetness. Excellent. We finished it off with a not-too-sweet ice cream dessert. Definitely will return. Service was good. Way, way over priced! $35 gets you two kebabs and some white rice. They don't provide enough naan with the eggplant appetizer, then charge $2 for additional naan which was borderline stale. It was very disappointing! read more

Finally, a true PERSIAN restaurant! The koobideh kabab was so juicy and flavorful that my kids were fighting over it! I've lived in California, so it's nice to finally get this kind of food here. Friends have had other dishes already and loved them. I can't wait to try more. Sure you can get cheaper "fast" food, but this is quality with quality ingredients. Delicious home-style Persian food, served with Persian grace and hospitality. The naan was fresh and hot. The chicken was so tasty and tender. The saffron polo was perfect. I would love to see chelo rice on the menu eventually. Sarah visited our table and personally ensured we were enjoying our meal. Mohammad our server was excellent. Service had a little to overcome, since the building was originally a cafeteria-style chain with high walled sections, which worked well for self-service and self-seating.
