Disappointing. We had a reservation. Service was not great. Only a hostess, one waitress, one bartender (home football weekend). Maybe 12 tables in the whole house but only 65% full. Took forever to order drinks. Had the flatbread and bread basket apps and we enjoyed them. Hostess had to clear our table. Entrees were under seasoned. I had the Gemelli dish (not the worst pasta I ever ate). Forgot to add, the waitress was the worst. Not a smile, not a care. I gave her, her 20% but she did NOT deserve it. read more

Below average hotel restaurant. There are aren't too many tables, so if you have a bigger group, good luck. The first night, we ordered drinks and sat in the other side of the lobby. Most people weren't happy with their drinks. Why have a specialty cocktail menu if you aren't going to make the specialty drinks? My friend ordered the blueberry mule and said it had no blueberry flavor in it at all lol. The prosecco drinks used cupcake prosecco- yuck. My specialty margarita was hardly drinkable and the salt was not margarita salt. Bartenders didn't make drinks in the order we ordered them. The next night I got a salad and an app and waited over 45 minutes for it when the restaurant was basically empty. Go somewhere else! This was the by far the worst part of this Hilton. read more

Had been reading about this place since we first moved here two years ago and decided to give this a shot last evening. Was missing out on a wonderful trattoria all this time. Between the two of us we had the carpaccio which was very tasty, rigatoni with lamb/short rib was fabulous, and the pork loin with polenta was outstanding. What a great find. Being attached to a Hilton Garden Inn, you would not think the food would be good. However, it was. The family had the Salmon, Risotto, Alfredo Mac and Cheese and the Nonna's Pasta. Appetizers we had the Flatbread Artichoke and Bread Basket. Everyone had a great looking and more importantly great tasting meal and the proportions were sized perfectly for the price. When you think about eating at a Hilton Garden Inn, your expectation are likely pretty low. Mercato Mio is definitely the exception. I was really surprised at the menu options as well as the presentation. The winter panzanella salad was excellent. Minestrone soup was fresh and hot, and the brussels sprouts were generously sized and really tasty. There was nothing I didn't like. This new Italian restaurant in The Hilton Garden Inn needs some help! We dined at this restaurant on February 26th and we were not very impressed! It has a very small menu so my husband and I selected the lasagna. We also ordered bread (it doesn't come with the meal). The food came out very quickly but it was cold and the waitress failed to tell us it wasn't a traditional lasagna, it had no red sauce just cheese and sausage. The flavor was just OK. It might have been better if it was warm! The drink menu was actually more extensive that the food menu, we should have just stuck with the wine and skipped the food! The appetizers that we ordered, nonna's meatballs and the soppressata flatbread, were the highlight of our meal but not enough to make the experience positive.
