We got the around the world nachos, which were awesome. Big portion. The bbq chicken tacos, Asian 5 spice beef tacos, and the pork tacos are a must try. Everything had the right amount of spice and the food was very fresh. If you're not sure about what to get, try the taco flight which comes with 3 tacos for $14.99. Each taco with either flour or corn tortilla will cost you about $6. The ambiance is nothing to rave about. But all you need is a table to enjoy this fantastic food. Must try.

I don't have any experience with Venezuelan cuisine but I do love good food. The place is in a small room near the MLK Plaza and Fraser Street. There's several tables inside that seat anywhere from 2 to 6 people. There's a parking garage nearby or it's within walking distance of the PSU campus. I ordered a papellon with pork stew. It came wrapped in aluminum and had a corn based shell (arepa). The stew had pork, beans, veggies, potato, etc. I was given a side of white sauce in a cup. I added it all together and mixed it up. Everything was fresh and delicious. Pricing is around $12-$15 per dish which is in-line with most similar places in the area. Overall - it was a great visit and I hope to visit again in the future!

I have no idea why people like it so much. I even tried getting a BURGER and the burger tasted like overly cooked hash browns that nobody put seasoning on. It's nasty. The nachos are even bad. I haven't had food this bad since Hardee's. Or maybe that time my sister had to cook for a food truck fundraiser. Honestly can't believe they replaced a perfect restaurant with this crap. It sucks. Spare your taste buds and DONT GO HERE. Mark my words.

I really appreciate the speed and the willingness to bring more free chips! Normally I go straight for the tacos, which are always a hit. The combinations are also a great price, especially if you can make it for lunch. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention the happy hour. You can get some great deals here and they have an excellent drink selection. Alongside the alcoholic beverages there are also non-alcoholic smoothies with the same flavor options as daiquiris, so great options there too!!

Plaza Mexican is a cut above most. The decore is eclectic, walls covered with a zany mix of brown gunite-like gravel, white and silver tile, faux brick, etc.--a definite Aztec vibe, I believe. We went there with one of our toddler grandsons and our daughter. We ordered table-side guacamole, enchiladas, street corn, fried plantains, and a novel Philly cheesesteak burrito. Well our little guy loved the guacamole, eating almost the entire bowl. For the adults, it could've used a lot more lime juice, and seasoning. The street corn was okay, but could have been sweeter. My burrito was a cheesy mix of lightly sautéed green peppers, onions, and queso cheese. I was slightly disappointed with the meat. It was definitely ground beef, and I expected more like a minute steak. But it was an interesting dish that I would probably order again. The menu said it had mushrooms, but they were hard to find. I washed it down with a draft Negra Modello. Our grandson and daughter liked their enchiladas. Our server was pleasant and on the ball; she gave us excellent service.
