Love this place. It's good decent pricing and good food. Parking is paid so you'll have to do street or parking garage down the road. Killer burrito. And they put a twist on it. Staff don't really speak to much English. So not friendly but not mean. Most people order on the iPads to side. Plenty of seating. Drinks are by the bottle. I purchased a $25 gift card through their website as part of a graduation gift for an upcoming PSU freshman and my card was charged, however I NEVER received my gift card! The number for the East College Avenue store disconnected me every time I pressed "3" to be connected to a person at the store. I called the McAllister location and repeatedly and asked to speak to a manager that was never there and instead given an international number to call, with no avail. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, and was fresh and delicious. Additionally, everything we ordered was much bigger than we thought, and everybody left properly filled. I stopped by Yallah on a recent visit to Penn State. The food was reasonably priced and quickly served. I ordered my food and paid on a screen. The food was prepared quickly and my order was called in no time. The food was good. I loved my quesadilla, especially the cilantro sauce. I did not enjoy the queso which was more like nacho cheese. Overall, it was a good meal and would probably be the best, after a late night out. read more

We had high hopes for this establishment as it is rated well but we were sorely disappointed. The prices were quite steep for Mexican in a college town. We ordered three tacos, one ground beef, one shredded beef and one chicken which were very messy and dripping. The only one we would get again would be the shredded beef. The chicken was cubed, not shredded and the ground beef was course and had a consistency of steak. The rice bowl was super messy as well and had too much sour cream. We ordered the bowl per the menu description but it came out with different ingredients than stated. If we had known that the bowl came with guac, we would not have ordered the side of guac. We got the vegetable bowl in the hopes of getting some veggies, but really it was a lot of shredded lettuce, a few grape tomatoes and black beans. The service was friendly and our food came out quickly so we will give them kudos for that but we do not need to come back here for over priced sub par Mexican food. read more

We died and went to Mexico City when we ate dinner here. We were visiting family members in State College and they recommended this place as having outstanding Mexican food. Boy were they right! We had the chicken fajitas and two tacos, one chicken and one beef. Everything was excellent! I would be here once a week if I lived in State College. The bathroom wasn't the most clean I've ever been in but the food was so good that, even though I'm a clean freak, I'm giving them a pass. read more

I had been to their other location about a year ago and remember having a great experience there, but this was my first time here at their newer location Fun fact: This new location is actually in the same building as the old Taco Bell. Ordering was quick and easy, they have kiosks where you can place your order that are quick and simple to use, but if you prefer the old fashioned way, you can order up front as well. I ordered two street tacos, one with chicken and the other with fried chicken. The food came out within 5 minutes for me and for my group of four which was great. THESE TACOS ARE AMAZING!! They are pretty big and come with some avocado salsa cheese and your choice of meat. They give you some yallah sauce you can put on as well and that honestly makes these tacos. Yallah sauce is basically their take on a cilantro lime crema. The chicken taco was my favorite, the chunks of chicken are huge and super flavorful. The fried chicken was still good, but just kinda was friend chicken and didn't have a ton of flavor. If I am back in the area I will definitely be returning! read more

We stopped at Yallah for lunch on a Saturday just after arriving in State College. It was pretty busy and a bit unclear what to do. You could order from the counter or a kiosk -- we chose a kiosk so we could take our time studying the menu a bit. C got the pulled beef burrito and it was huge. Can't even imagine what the Monster burritos are like. Grace and I got the chicken bowl and it was great -- good chicken, very good rice, lots of flavor. The hot sauce available to add was excellent as well. They had soda in bottles including Coke Zero. Appeared to be family run as a 12 year old called out our order when it was ready. Came in here today in the midst of another full on shut down which means no dine in. With that being said the place was completely empty :( The menu was really great and I had a hard time choosing what to order. My friend ordered the green monster (vegetarian) burrito. She loved it and it was a hefty amount of food... good for big appetites. I ordered the shrimp fajita platter. I loved this!
