Ordered a single cheesesteak which is served on a 12" soft squishy white bread hoagie roll. Rolls made by Angelo Pacifico & Sons in Altoona, PA. Didn't think I could finish it all, so I mentioned I'd take half of it to go and eat half to stay at the tables inside the shop. They kindly pre-wrapped my to-go half in an aluminum and paper sandwich wrap with tape to hold it, and plated the half to stay on a small paper plate with plastic fork. Very kind to do that even when I said I'd be happy to do it myself with a to go wrapper. I ordered the cheesesteak with peppers and onions and a dash of vinegar and oil. The beef cheesesteak was similar to a flank steak cut chopped into easy to bite shreds. My cousin ordered a chicken cheesesteak with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, shredded lettuce, thin sliced tomato, and mayo. The chicken seemed to be mostly white meat chopped into easy to bite shreds as well. Good selection of local sweet flavored teas and chocolate milk from Ritchey's Dairy in Martinsburg, PA, and Coca Cola soda products in the coolers to choose from. Locally made chips from Middleswarth in Lewistown, PA. Total for 2 Single 12" Hoagies & an Iced Tea just under $18. Payment accepted in Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, and Cash. If you're looking for some food on the go or late at night, it's definitely a solid choice. Otherwise, don't have too much of an expectation. There are touchscreen pads to order on and we picked up a few hotdogs. You can also add extra toppings to it. I also wanted the nachos, but it wasn't listed on the menu on its own. It was weird that you had to order another item that was paired with the nachos, so I ended up getting two chicken sliders as well. When we got our food, I opened the nachos to find barely any cheese on there. It wasn't enough to cover all the chips, so a bit disappointing there. I didn't think the hot dog was any special, but the chicken sliders were actually good. Maybe I was having my drunchies, but it got the job done to satisfy my hunger for the night.

Made my way here and then onward with my travels. While here I was also craving some sweet tea for the long drive ahead of me. I went inside and made my way about the store and got everything that I needed for the rest of my trip and little afterwards as well. The store was well put together, clean and staffed with friendly people. The lot outside is huge and feels a bit out of place. That is until the area around it develops (which it appears it is in the process of doing). Exiting was a breeze, all you need to do is follow the signage and you'll be good. Little hint, this establishment has nothing to do with the person who stole the information, nor the person the used the information. We walked in expecting a typical dining experience with a menu but found out things had changed…read moredramatically. Our hostess, who we later found out was the owner, explained to us that if we wanted food, we could order it from outside where there was a traveling chef with a pizza oven. This was a big change from the usual menu and what we had expected. We decided to go with the flow, take a seat at the Ouija board table, place our drink orders, and go outside to order food. This week the chef had a woodfired pizza oven. Keep in mind, cider is the focus here. So, my husband's old fashioned was made with cider. Hearing this, I asked for my cider on the side rather than in my cosmo. We learned that the owner's background is movie set design and that she worked on movies like Harry Potter, so the decor was a combination of old industrial plant and haunted house. The bar had "potions" with smoke oozing out. There were also skeletons and skulls throughout the restaurant along with spooky photos that changed from normal to scary. She even allowed us to explore the different back rooms one of which she called the "swamp room." The pizza was good, and we enjoyed listening to the live music which wasn't overwhelmingly loud. Overall, everyone was kind and made us feel welcome. We later ordered the blueberry cobbler for dessert which was warm and tasty.

For an area with slim vegan pickings, this felt like a gold mine. We ended up trying a few menu items and they were all delicious and tasted quite fresh. The cider flight was delicious. There is plenty of seating, include extensive outdoor seating that looks out to the forests surrounding. Indoors is filled with spooky, eclectic industrial decor. The staff were friendly and thoughtful. It's a gem of a spot!
