This was a big change from the usual menu and what we had expected. We decided to go with the flow, take a seat at the Ouija board table, place our drink orders, and go outside to order food. This week the chef had a woodfired pizza oven. Keep in mind, cider is the focus here. So, my husband's old fashioned was made with cider. Hearing this, I asked for my cider on the side rather than in my cosmo. We learned that the owner's background is movie set design and that she worked on movies like Harry Potter, so the decor was a combination of old industrial plant and haunted house. The bar had "potions" with smoke oozing out. There were also skeletons and skulls throughout the restaurant along with spooky photos that changed from normal to scary. She even allowed us to explore the different back rooms one of which she called the "swamp room." The pizza was good, and we enjoyed listening to the live music which wasn't overwhelmingly loud. Overall, everyone was kind and made us feel welcome. We later ordered the blueberry cobbler for dessert which was warm and tasty.
