Set-up was quick and, as I expected, cheerful. We appreciated her providing table tents (cards) to identify the ingredients in the dishes. All the food items were awesome! She came up with three amazing…read moremenus (for three different games) and delivered the food right to the yellow ORV field along Orchard Rd. I gave her a final head count of 30 and when she delivered she told me she gave us enough for 70 just in case. I believe it because we had a ton left over to take home and enjoy with our kids and probably for the rest of the month. We used our two tailgating grills to warm everything up and put in catering pans that I previously purchased. To say that everyone loved the food is an understatement. Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The ribs were out of this world!!! I am so happy I found her and she is my go to for PSU games from this point forward!! Thanks Deb and staff!! When you first walk in, the atmosphere is just perfect and you just want to walk around and look at all of the beautiful and interesting artwork (and the pastry case!). The menu items for July/August are so enticing that it's almost impossible to pick but we ended up getting the tomato tart (one of our favorite bites of the night), the zucchini fritters and caprese gnocchi soup to start. For our main course we selected the lemon ricotta pasta, the chimichurri steak tips and the sea bass skewers (you don't see sea bass on menus often and this one shouldn't be missed- it's incredible) . We were all so happy with all of our delicious meals (I even took bread to get every bite on my sea bass entree). Harrison's catered a local event I recently attended and I was really excited because I do like…read moreeating at the restaurant. The catering fell way short of my expectations. The salad was unimaginative and very plain. I did not (nor did my fellow guests) like the vinaigrette that was served on the side. Most of the items were typical mass manufactured previously frozen appetizers, like spanokopita, among other things. There was a tray of the egg rolls they brag about. Maybe popping something in the oven and dressing the plate up at the restaurant works for these items. But to make a bunch of them and transport in a hotel pan, left many of them soggy and there really is no way to dress that up. They served a large amount of quinoa salad. But the grains we're not rinsed enough and would have benefited from more heat. There's a very bitter taste that needs to be washed off the grains and they were simply undercooked. Then, lastly, I recognized the bread. That is one of the only complaints I have in their restaurant. It is way too pale and doughy. If it was refreshed and browned in the oven, it would be exponentially better.

The dips and meat were out for 4 hrs before guests arrived. She had other weddings the same day but their boards looked absolutely beautiful. We only had an over abundance of carrots and some slice cucumber. My expectations, based on the photos she directed me to, was that we would have other vegetables...isn't that what a grazing table includes. I can't believe I paid $2k to her and threw out 75% of the cheap crap no one wanted to eat. Beware and run away for this caterer. Gail Young

I planned well in advance but it was obvious she forgot when she called and asked what I ordered. She has a minimum for a grazing table and there were well under the minimum number but all I got was a pineapple not fit to eat. A ton of crackers and chips but little cheese/dip. It was fine in 15 minutes. The smoked chicken was only covered in soot. Not enough food for the number I ordered for. Buyer beware.

I gave her all the details and she wrote everything down and said she would pass it along to Ashley who would then give me a call back to go over everything in more detail. After about a week of not hearing back from them, I gave them another call and left a voice mail. That was a few weeks ago and I still haven't heard back.. After reading some reviews it seems like this isn't the first time they've ghosted people. If communication is this difficult in the beginning, then I can't imagine how it will be leading up to our wedding. No thank you.

Definitely recommend getting the brisket! The cornbread was decent with the butter, but nothing super extraordinary to us. The mac and cheese and beans were also alright. Overall, a good place to try out if you're looking for something outside of downtown campus. Get the brisket!

But for pork being a salty meat, we felt we needed more just to give it some flavor. Unfortunately, their salt packet container was filled exclusively with pepper (this is easily correctable and does not factor into our score). The brisket texture was OK and had a decent color and smoky flavor to it, though it may have been slightly overdone, as it was very dry. If I were to describe the flavor it would be Jack Link's Beef Jerky. The sauces were, to be blunt, not great. The mustard based sauce was pretty much just mustard. There was a ketchup based sauce that didn't offer much else. There were 2 other sauces, neither of which paired well with the 2 meats, and frankly I'm having a hard time even coming up with words to describe them. A way to improve would be a vinegar based sauce for the pulled pork (Carolina style), and offer up a reasonably spicy sauce. The biggest issue was we felt like we were chasing flavor and unable to find it, even mixing and matching sauces and meats. Prices were very reasonable for the quantities of food.

Quickly seated and our waitress was then very attentive and food also came out timely. We shared a pizza and chicken parm with egg fettuccine noodles. They definitely cook their pasta al dente, it was a nice chew vs being soft and mushy. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Pizza was tasty with some of the best crust, light and airy. Nice inside with booths, tables and fun pizza decorations.
