Every time my husband and I eat at this restaurant, the food is delicious. Jackie, our server, is efficient and friendly. On our most recent visit, I had the Philly cheesesteak wrap and it was very yummy. We, also, took home a pizza which was delicious. And, the restaurant is clean. I went in at dinner time yesterday after a dance with my son. Two waitresses were working so hard to keep up with the incoming guests. It seemed the owner was also eating in the middle of a rush and barking orders at the younger girl. He followed them while they waited and served different tables and scolded the employees in front of customers. Loud music could be heard from the kitchen and the food was not anything to rave about. Service was good except for the staff being distracted by the large family table. I'm disappointed with the business I've known for so long. read more

We stopped here on a road trip to New York after searching for something new for lunch. Our waitress, Ashley, was extremely kind and friendly, paying close attention to our questions and needs as travelers. The daily specials are the place to look for a good ordering choice. My husband got the two slices of pizza and said they were good; my son got the chicken wings and said they were excellent (no meat left behind)- they were big, juicy, and flavorful; my daughter ordered the kids' spaghetti and Caesar salad with garlic rolls- she said the sauce was really good and couldn't even finish half of it because the portion was so big; I ordered the 6" baked Italian sub with fries- my sub was incredible because of the crunch of the baked bread combined with the delicious fillings. I can't say enough nice things about our waitress and the service. I highly recommend visiting for the service and food. The atmosphere is basic diner style- it looks like they converted a counter-service restaurant into a sit-down restaurant. It was clean. Just ordered 2 grilled chicken salads, not only was it expensive but it was also COLD! Chicken was cold, French fries were cold and the cheese which was melted on top, also cold as a brick. I live 3 miles from the restaurant and it took over an hour and for 2 salads it cost me with the salads and tip combined $41!!!!! Never again. While I think the marinara is the best I've ever had, most things about this restaurant suck. Tonight we tried calling in a pick up order but nobody answered. When we got there it was dead, very few customers but they had their phone off the hook. Can they not handle the business? We ordered a small Stromboli and one slice of cheese pizza. The boli was hot but my pizza was cold and gross. Also, the women's bathroom smells like trash and old tuna. One of the most disgusting bathrooms I've ever been in. Love hate relationship with this place. Love the food- Sometimes. Just depends on what you get and who is cooking. The pricing is a little higher than the other Brother's I've been too. I always get a chef salad and it's $12. The staff can be friendly but most of the time when I go in to get my food they don't seem very happy to be there. I asked how much their chicken and rice soup was "5.37" "really? that's for a quart right?" "no a pint" Almost $6 for soup?! I'll keep coming back though, close to home, pretty fast. Also another thing, they tell you your food will be ready in 30 minutes, never wait that long. it usually only takes them 10-15 depending on what you get. So go early. Guilty pleasure much? Brothers is your standard mom & pop Pizza shoppe although this once does have several namesake locations in Central PA, some related and some not. Food has always been excellent in quality and quick in service. Their pizzas are savory, the hoagies are always made with fresh ingredients, and their bread sticks an absolute indulgence.
