Plenty of food for four people- $47.50 without tip.

We stopped here on a road trip to New York after searching for something new for lunch. Our waitress, Ashley, was extremely kind and friendly, paying close attention to our questions and needs as travelers. The daily specials are the place to look for a good ordering choice. My husband got the two slices of pizza and said they were good; my son got the chicken wings and said they were excellent (no meat left behind)- they were big, juicy, and flavorful; my daughter ordered the kids' spaghetti and Caesar salad with garlic rolls- she said the sauce was really good and couldn't even finish half of it because the portion was so big; I ordered the 6" baked Italian sub with fries- my sub was incredible because of the crunch of the baked bread combined with the delicious fillings. I can't say enough nice things about our waitress and the service. I highly recommend visiting for the service and food. The atmosphere is basic diner style- it looks like they converted a counter-service restaurant into a sit-down restaurant. It was clean. If you're looking for good food and friendly people, this is a great place to try!

Well, we were served this via takeout and were told it's their cinnamon dough balls - glad we only ordered a small

Lovely bartender. Food is reliable but a little overpriced. Missing the recently departed chili and…read moresalmon salad.

3 - Good choice if you're in the area. Skip to the end to see my rating scale…read more The three things I look for in a brewery are a dog-friendly outdoor space, accessibility to some good grub, and (of course) some quality beers. The brewery does have smallish patio outside, but when we checked in to make sure it was pet friendly we found out that they are definitely NOT. "Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the premises. I mean, it can stay in your car, but don't let it out." Bummer for sure, although that patio wasn't terribly inviting on a chilly November night anyway. Besides not allowing our creature on the patio, the staff's demeanor didn't compensate. Most of the ones we talked to seemed pretty uninterested in being there...or maybe just not interested in paying attention to someone who isn't in college. We didn't take advantage of the food opportunities, but they do have a nice menu available. So maybe the food's good, maybe it's not, but it's certainly available. And to be fair, the place was crowded on a Saturday evening, so I think it's safe to assume that it's decent. Which brings us to the beer. Enough of the beers in our flights were good enough to save the rating above a 2 on my scale. They have some variety which is always a plus...sours, hefs, stouts, and multiple IPAs. If you're into craft beer like we are, you'll likely find something you'll like. It's unlikely that we'll return because there are a couple of other breweries close by that are significantly friendlier. But if you're in the area and in the mood for a pretty good craft beer, Robin Hood is a safe choice. My rating scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here
