Half beef half chicken rice platter
    Frank L.

Pretty good. Not halal guys good but its the closet thing round here. I got the rice platter half chicken and half beef. The beef was def better, but the chicken isnt too shabby as well. The sauce is really good as well. Get tahini and spicy sauce if u like spicy. The plate cost me ten bux with tip so I think it was about 9 bux. Oh ya, it can be hard to find this guy and sometimes the cart isnt open.

    Call ahead for falafel

You will not eat better food in state college. The lamb on rice with white and red sauce is amazing. Also has some of the nicest employees.

I ordered online for pickup (Arayes and Falafel) and the problems started. I received both a web notice and an email that my food would be immediately ready for pickup. Seemed weird, but I figured perhaps they have a good amount staged and could just bag it. Once I arrived at the store I was greeted by an empty host counter, and when someone finally showed up he looked annoyed and bored to be there. I told him about the order and he went to check. I saw him in the dining area a few times afterwards, but no stop up front to say "just a few minutes" or such. Eventually (truthfully, not long after - perhaps 7 minutes) he came out with a bag and said, "Here you go sir. Jonathan, right?" -- "Josh", I replied --- "Something like that." he said, maintaining bored eye contact with anywhere but my face. Despite the hiccups, I arrived home excited to try the food. I was immediately disappointed. Both dishes were supposed to come with sauce - Tahini with the falafel and Tzatziki with the Arayes. There was no sauce. I call the restaurant - it went to voicemail. I drove back - waited again at the empty host counter, and was eventually greeted by a young woman. She was much more welcoming and engaged than the prior person. I explained what happened and she said she would be right back. A few minutes later the original guy came back with a bag with "Sorry about that". I got home and immediately regretted not looking in the bag while still at the restaurant. I received two containers of Tahini and one of some mystery green sauce. Google tells me that Tzatziki can be green, but this neither tastes nor looks like any tzatziki I've ever had. (Not being a culinary expert I don't mind being corrected if I am wrong here) All sauces refrigerator cold. Maybe they are supposed to be? Checking the menu to see if I misremembered, I saw that they were also supposed to come with some sort of "arabic bread" which was missing. I did not call again and resigned myself to eating the already lukewarm food. The falafel was overcooked and very dry. Reminded me of hockey pucks. One bite was enough. Now we get to the redeeming part of the story... the Arayes are phenomenal. They need no sauce. 10/10. I am all for paying well for high-quality food and service, but I won't be giving any more money to this establishment until/unless they iron out their hospitality and quality processes. Truly a shame, because the interior looks nice and someone there really knows how to cook.

Good food! Relaxing atmosphere! What a nice oasis in hectic Breezewood!…read more We were skeptical to try this place. It just seemed unlikely we would find "real" food in this Pennsylvania pretzel-like junction between I-70 and the PA Turnpike filled with a collection of gas stations and fast food called Breezewood. And then there's Moe's Sultan Food restaurant! It serves really delicious freshly-made food from a vast menu, with European and Mid-eastern dishes alongside all-day breakfast and some standard American burgers and fries and soup and salad, and even some vegan selections! We had $6 delicious hot borscht, a classic bright-red Ukranian tomato-beet soup of potatoes and shredded cabbage and carrots, deliciously seasoned with onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. It was a chilly day (Dec 2025), and this light broth with hearty vegetables was the perfect meal. It came with a large warm fresh pita bread. We also got a cute little $3 pot of steeping Baghdad tea with cardamom, the very definition of cozy :-) We had a huge $10 wrap of freshly mixed freshly fried chickpea falafel, lightly crispy outside, tender and moist inside. The wrap was stuffed with veggies and a deliciously creamy tahini sauce. It was so large that we only finish half here, and carried the rest along for a later snack. This was better-made falafel than most restaurants near home, and I think that's because it is literally made fresh when you order it. This is a somewhat time-worn restaurant with seating for 50 in simple comfortable booths. They cleverly shade the windows with bright colorful screen-prints that, on the i side, present international views that are illuminated by sunlight through the windows, but completely screen you from the stream of vehicles and the landscape of gas stations. The counter where you pay has many packaged foods, including regular snacks and some international ones. Mara and a table-server made us feel welcome. For us it was a 30-min stop, because each item was made-to-order. When we want to relax a few minutes with really good food, this is now our go-to in Breezewood. Delicious and peaceful.

The food was even better than before with flavors that are more pronounced and the dessert was just unreal with huge portions. Our waiter, Lance, was also amazing! Very sweet guy who took the time to give us recommendations and just overall great personality and service. I hope they are able to take this place and make it into something wonderful and full every night because they deserve it. We've been coming here every Mother's Day for many years now and it's never been as good as it was tonight. Thank you guys for making our day great, wish you all the best!

We tried 7 different dishes and 3 desserts, and each one was incredibly flavorful & cooked to perfection. The spice level was just right. We highly recommend the shish tawook, labneh, baba ganoush (best we've ever had), falafel, shish kebab wrap, sanbusik, and fattoush. We got the desserts to go & haven't tried them yet, but they look delectable. We loved Cedars before, but the food is even better now! Mike (the owner) is so cool & welcoming! The spicy foods were actually spicy, and the falafel was fresh and not dry. Definitely my quick go-to salad/ fresh bowl place for now. It is cold and cafeteria-style. Great option for state college. 4/5 Ambiance: modern/ industrial fast casual looking interior- tile-like wall is pretty, as are the jars of pickled vegetables and the cage lattices separating the dining high tables. Overall a clean feel and not too sterile feeling, though it may be on the border of being a bit too-bare-bones. This is the kind of place I could see bringing someone from out of town to. Music was really loud, as seems to be the style at these kinds of places, which could make quality conversations hard to do. 4/5 Service: Service was good. I ordered three bowls and they were served promptly. It didn't seem like anything special to make the dish, the server was literally looking at the recipe on the receipt and putting scoops of each into the bowl, which makes sense, especially for custom made bowls. This destroyed all imaginations of a chef custom making a dish to be tailored to the seasons, etc but the food was still tasty. (0/5 Bike parking: after looking I couldn't find a place to secure my bike) 5 : I will actively tell other people to go here 4 : I am happy to go back. 3 : I will go back if a friend suggests it. 2 : I will go back if someone is really insistent. 1 : I will not go back.
