Located off of Satellite Blvd., Kitchen 122 is within a small shopping lot; however, there's more than enough free parking. Social Distancing: I believe they allow dine-in, but when I arrived between 6:30p - 7pm, there wasn't a soul there besides the waitress. Even though no one was there, the dining tables were all separated to enforce social distancing. The Service: AMAZING SERVICE. I was only inside a few moments to up my order, but the waitress was extremely nice the entire time. The Food: The food was on point. I had the Double Shrimp Tempura Roll ($14) and Oriental Garlic Soy Chicken ($14). All of it was SO GOOD! I liked the Soy Chicken a little bit better, only because I ordered the Double Shrimp Tempura by accident, yet it still turned out delicious. The atmosphere was great and the food was top notch! I came after work on a weekday and it was moderately busy - a very good sign. It's a self-seating restaurant so follow the signs to the right and order at the cashier before finding an empty table to rest. They will bring the food out to you. The utensils and water cups are located towards the back of the restaurant - just like how they do in Korea! I ordered the Combination Sushi Bowl with fresh tuna and salmon. Not too sure if it was because we came later in the day but the tuna was not as fresh as the salmon in the bowl. Not to worry as it was still in good, edible condition and did not affect the flavor of the bowl negatively. Overall will order again when I am in the mood for some healthy and fresh flavors! My boyfriend ordered the Snow Cheese Chicken with a side of rice and thoroughly enjoyed his meal. My friends and I were craving sushi and decided to stop by! There were many options besides sushi on the menu, which we loved. Not only did they have sushi, but they also had a variety of dishes like their signature chicken, sushi bowls, and noodles. We ended up ordering the rainbow roll sushi, the sushi bowl, and the oriental soy chicken. The service was really great, and they gave us a few dumplings in addition to our order which we were very thankful for. I thought the price was reasonable for the portion that we got. Food was amazing, after a day out in Atlanta trying different Korean foods at festival and city events. all I was missing was some Korean fried chicken, and let me say Kitchen 121 do not disappoint. I placed a large to-go order online for a work meeting. When I arrived to pick the order up, I was surprised that it was pretty busy even for an early lunch time of 11:30. I waited about 15 minutes past the quoted pickup time. I didn't check the order before I left, which I probably should have. When I got back to the office, the toppings for both bulgogi bowls were missing from the order. We ordered 6 entrees but only received 3 tiny cups of sauce, 4 sets of chopsticks and about 4 cocktail sized napkins. I had the combination sushi bowl, which had the potential to be really good but it was very dry and lacked seasoning. If I had about 4 more of those thimble sized cups of sauce, it would have been better. I was told by my coworker that the bulgogi bowl was also dry and lacking sauce, and of course they were missing the toppings which probably would have helped. Seems to be quite a few pock ups. The menu is a lot of fresh bowls, soups, sushi and asian fried chicken. I had the combination bowl which was presented in a beautiful bounty of veggies and diced salmon and tuna. Super fresh sliced avocado brown rice and lettuce. We started with an app of fried wontons. My new favorite sushi place in town! Plus it has awesome korean fried chickens! I love the special yummy yummy roll with spicy tuna. The roll is big and filled with flavors from all the ingredients. Upon checking in, you get three fried pork dumplings. What make this even more special is the that they are fresh dumplings and not the frozen kinds. The korean fried chicken was great because it was really juicy on the inside and not overcooked like other places. The atmosphere is really cozy also. They also give you some miso soup to sip on. Salmon hot stone bowl - no hot stone bowl...it was a cold plastic bowl, rice was really dry and looked old, salmon was dry and chewy, Fried egg was good! Rainbow roll - sloppy made, definitely one of the cheaper rolls I've had. Quality of a grocery store maybe less. You can order other more traditional Japanese dishes line udon noodles for example. The tempura and fried squid balls were fried with great texture and crunch. The sushi was pretty good as well. It didn't taste too fishy and felt relatively fresh. In terms of service, didn't have too many complaints. The food was served without too long of a wait. The waiter checked on us often but not too often as well. Overall, a pretty decent experience. With the price and selections available you can't go wrong with a lot of the dishes. If you mix it up super well, there's a slight sauce at the very bottom. The bed mixture was half rice and half lettuce. Overall, it was okay. I thought there could have been more tuna pieces to be honest. The baked salmon roll was sizable (8 pieces) and pretty tasty. There were only a few cooked sushi options so my friend went for it. Indoor is clean and decorated with a few tables and 1 long picnic style table. Order food at the counter and have a seat until your food arrives. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They even offered samples for us to try. I had to get the fried boneless chicken and they both were delicious! I also ordered a fried salmon roll which was also good. There is a section for utensils and napkins (self-served). They sanitize the table before and after. They even have used and sanitized cups for pens lol. Most importantly, the food is heavenly good. The rest of the bowl consisted of a bed a rice with vegetables. I had this same bowl for lunch and dinner. The udon noodle soup warmed the soul on this rainy day. Soup came packaged separately from the noodles for transport purposes. Classic thick cut noodles. Plenty to share and actually also lasted for 2 meals. Very good sushi! Tried the Special Eel Roll and absolutely loved it~~ my friend tried the Nigiri and Udon combo and she enjoyed her meal as well! They added mushrooms with the udon and we thought that was interesting but was still a good mix with the noodles. The menu has less items compared to other sushi restaurants but I'm excited to come back and try the other rolls! :) Also, this restaurant is fairly small but cozy!
