This location is in a strip mall and can be hard to find if using the map on a phone -mine and my friends brought us in the back into an industrial area. I thought I was in the wrong place but just follow it around! The food is pretty good - I had the bulgogi stir fry and my friend had the chicken. Again both very tasty, especially the proteins I thought were cooked well. Good cuts that were not too fatty and not overdone and dry. The space is very small, I might describe it as a bit tight. I would say that it is not a place with a lot of privacy. The service was fine - you walk in and go to the counter to place your order and they bring it to you when it's ready. It's pretty easy to figure out but no one offered to assist me or anything on my first visit. I would say great lunch spot, give it a shot.

Great service and friendly staff. I love the semi private and divided seating arrangements. Fresh food and plants give a nature environment; great atmosphere. Feels like I'm eating outside but with the AC on. I got the shrimp bow and my friend got the salmon bowl. We both agreed it was delicious. This is self serve, grab your own utensils, water, and sauce station. You can also grab your own togo containers, no need to ask. Great for quick lunch. Definitely will be back.

A nice spot with some very tasty food. The "dining room" was much smaller than I expected but it had a nice, relaxed vibe (with Sailor Moon playing in the background) We ordered the Oriental Garlic Chicken which was AMAZING! Had the perfect crunch but juicy texture and the sauce was everything! We also tried the Bulgolgi bowl which if you love a runny egg, pretty good. If not ask for scrambled. I believe my sister had the fried shrimp bowl which was also amazingly juicy and crispy at the same time. Add Eel sauce to any of this and it takes it to the next level! Lastly my sushi loving son ordered the rainbow roll which was decent. Fish definitely tasted fresh but sauce was needed to add flavor. Pieces (6 not 8, I believe) were also huge which could be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. All in all a spot I'd recommend.

KITCHEN 121 is an Asian fusion casual eatery that serves sushi, Korean fried chicken, and more. It is rather small inside, so dining is a tight squeeze but I think there is one table outside. Because space is limited, the ambiance can feel either quiet or loud depending on the crowd inside. The service was efficient and friendly. We got the Yummy Yummy Roll and Double Shrimp Tempura Roll which were their special rolls. The rolls were massive! I could have gotten half of it and been satisfied, but they did cost $16 so I guess it is good that the rolls were big. The Double Shrimp Tempura Roll came with a small popcorn chicken on top of each roll which was interesting. The popcorn chicken tasted good and while I thought my roll was tasty, especially with the spicy mayonnaise drizzled on it, there was a lot going on in terms of what was in and on it. I would like to come back and try their Korean fried chicken! I would probably give this place a 3.75/5 if I could. I think people who like Asian fusion will enjoy the food here.

Really unique Asian fusion. We had brussel sprouts and dumplings for appetizers and sushi, bulgogi, vegetable udon dishes for our main course. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and casual with a welcoming atmosphere. Service was excellent and friendly.

    1. Background. I've been driving by this cafe next to Starbucks for some time. I wanted to try it out. 2. Atmosphere. A quaint little cafe that gives off a "Central Perk" vibes. 5 stars. 3. Cleanliness. 5 stars. 4. Bathroom. Standard strip mall restroom. 3 stars 5. Customer service. Excellent. Everyone knows their job. Everyone helps out. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the menu. 5 stars. 6. Beer. Not Applicable. 7. Plates and silverware. Cute bowls and and good chop sticks. 5 stars 8. Food. It's so good. The bulgogi stir fry was excellent. And the sushi bowl was sublime. 9. Price. 5 stars. 10. Overall Experience. 5 stars! *** This is a great place for lunch.

The people working there were polite and nice. It's a nice place with almost a cafe aesthetic. I got the combination bowl and it was so good! I was starving so I ate a bit before taking a picture of how much they filled the bowl and how it still looked presentable. I'd love to come back here again!

Thanks Yelp and Instagram for steering us here - a bit of a drive and happy it was worth the journey, lol. Appreciated the menu variety - we ordered different dishes and shared ... two people in our party loved the food so much they ordered more for dinner! They have Korean fried chicken, sushi rolls and bowls, and grilled meat bowls w/ rice or Udon noodles - all very good, and portions are great. Order at the front, and food is made-to-order. Owner is Korean and came to our table - super nice and asked for our feedback. ORIENTAL SOY GARLIC CHICKEN - $17 All their KFC use white meat - surprisingly their white meat is very moist ... honestly almost tasted like thigh meat to me. I'd love to try their lemon pepper or sweet onion chicken next time. DOUBLE SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL - $16 Shrimp tempura, crab meat, avocado, cucumber, popcorn shrimp, tempura flakes, honey mayo, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. Loved all the texture activity going on in that roll - very good! TUNA SUSHI BOWL - $13 Pretty much a poke bowl - the fish tasted yummy and all the veggies were very fresh. I'd love to try the salmon sushi bowl next time. STIR FRIED UDON WITH GRILLED SALMON - $17 This was probably the group favorite - very good and the udon had the perfect chew. Great comfort food. I'd order this again. GRILLED BULGOGI HOT BOWL - $16 Meat was very flavorful, and came with side of pickled veggies on top of salad. MISO SOUP We also got a taste of their miso soup - perfecto! Overall great spot to check out if you're in the Old Peachtree Rd area - or maybe after shopping at Assi Korean supermarket nearby.

Wow, wow, wow! The moment I walked in, the space felt cozy, trendy, and perfectly aesthetic. I noticed they've earned a Michelin star, so I knew I had to give it a try. I ordered the 121 Yummy Yummy Roll, the Red Pepper Chicken, the Fried Pork Dumplings, and a Mango Lemonade. They also have a self-serve station for water and plates, which was super convenient. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor--everything had a great crunch without being oily. It was pretty quiet when I visited, but I can imagine this spot gets busy on weekends. Overall, such a delicious experience!

Kitchen 121 is such a cute place. You order at the counter, and while there isn't traditional table service, they do bring the food out to you. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We started with the fried vegetable dumplings, which were tasty and perfectly crispy. The crispy Brussels sprouts were amazing! I had the stir-fried udon tofu bowl, which was full of flavor, and my husband really enjoyed his JB roll and the stir-fried udon bulgogi. Our friends were also very happy with their meals. Overall, a great spot with fantastic food.

I ordered the ribeye fried rice which comes to about $24 and a salted coffee for $7. Coffee was nice and strong-- not too sweet, while the food was perfectly seasoned in my opinion. Meat was tender and the fried rice was very garlicky which I enjoyed. My only complaint is that my fried egg was slightly burnt and I did not like the cilantro sauce the rice came with but it didn't ruin the experience completely. I was a huge fan of this place when it was strictly Japanese...and was quite bummed when I heard…read morethey changed this restaurant from Japanese to Asian fusion. In any case, I finally decided to check out the place for dinner. Well, right away, I saw that they added more tables. Even with more tables, the restaurant still seemed pretty spacious. I've always loved the spaciousness of this place...but I find the layout a bit awkward. Unless you come with a group of 4, you'll most likely be seated in the open area...where there's just this utter lack of privacy. So yeah, as nice as this place is, there's a certain lack of comfort and coziness? I also noticed that their menu/menus looked quite different. Initially I was handed just this Korean-Chinese menu...and when I asked if they had Bento Boxes, they handed me the Japanese menu, but I didn't see any sushi rolls on the menu (??). I should have asked, but I just let that go. In retrospect, I really regret not asking. But then again, I wonder why they didn't hand out ALL the menus right off the bat? Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

I have also tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. All of the items are consistently prepared well and fresh to order from what I have seen. I really like the variety of items on their menu here. Some other places I have been to that do Asian fusion type menus usually are stronger in one cuisine over the other, but I have not seen that yet here. I have had Vietnamese pork plates from more than one place recently, but I think this is my favorite place in the area so far.
