This place was better than expected. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Filet Mignon for me and dry aged ribeye for my boyfriend with the fried asparagus, lobster cargot, beefsteak caprese, and potatoes au gratin. Our favorites were the potatoes au gratin, beefsteak caprese, fried asparagus, and lobster cargot - I'm that order. The cocktails were also well made with plenty of alcohol. Very well done. read more

PLEASE READ: I would give zero stars if I could. Mickey Mantle's/Kirby steakhouse is beyond unprofessional and racist. Coming from Houston and knowing how this place can be packed, my boyfriend called two weeks in advance to make a reservation for dinner for one of the evenings of the trip. During this call, the person on the other line never asked for an email address to send a confirmation email or mentioned anything regarding confirmation. The only confirmation from the other person on the other line was just essentially repeating the time and date of the reservation. On the day of the reserved night (Monday, June 21, 2021), he stopped by to inquire about the time (he was unsure if it was at 7 or 7:30pm) of the reservation. When he reached the hostess, she gave him a dirty glare. Additionally, instead of a typical greeting of something like "hi, how are you? What can I help you with," she proceeded with "what do you want?" in a very disgusting and dehumanizing tone. Do we get treated in that manner because of the color of our skin? This is unacceptable and disrespectful. Further, when he asked about the time, the hostess told him that he called Sunday night (the day before) to cancel the reservation and that they sent the cancellation to his email. He asked what email because they never asked for one at the beginning. He also asked (sarcastically) why would he cancel the reservation after driving 7 hours really looking forward to this dinner. She couldn't give a straight answer and just said that the reservation was canceled. She continued being rude and not wanting to help or figure out a viable solution. Honestly at this point, there's nothing you can do if a person is being racist towards you. Quality of food means nothing if there is no quality in customer service! read more

This is actually Mickey Mantels we told owned by Kirby's inside Winstar. Stopped for late lunch once seated with reservations was offered only bar menu even those next to us given lunch menu. Service was crazy everyone helped not just one wait staff member so there were many short comings, waited 10 minutes after being seated to get water and someone taking drink order then 20 minutes after ordering cocktail it arrived, ordered appetizers and food at one encounter afraid this would become a 3 hour meal okay for steak house but we were sitting in a bar high top table (come on ). Asked another walking by 10 minutes later in about our appetizer to yet another server who came out with 1/2 the order 10 minutes later rest of appetizers came to table I was ready to call it a day one drink and 2 appetizers later with over an hour after being seated. Server #6 stopped by to ensure us how important we were to them and they split tips !!!???$ what I knew we were being punk'd. We never complained as this was now ridiculous. Lunch came to the table going on 4:30 reservations 2:30. No one took another drink order and water empty now.. yet 6 plus white shirted and black shirted wait staff swarming. Where was the service !! Asked for to go container s for lunch as butt feel asleep waiting. Food was okay hard to enjoy with all the waiting going on. We are foodies and the experience is pretty high up in the food experience we are enjoying. Spicy cheese curds had a nice crispy fry with slight spice bite but not curd more like bite size mozzarella bites. NY chicken wings, were fried no batter no seasoning with 3 dipping sauces. Then we're good but celery carrots limp. Tiki hubby got chicken fried ribeye steak was good. I had chicken quesadilla did not eat since so late arriving. Overall event was comical.. not what you expect for a dinning experience. read more

We had an excellent dinner before a concert. Highly recommend and our server Dalton was very good. Very impressed by his service ....he was so attentive and knew the wine list. All of the staff were very helpful and understand good customer service. We had filets that were cooked perfect and amazing flavor.... the asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious. Make a reservation...you will not be disappointed! read more

Seafood tower - avoid at all cost. For 50$ a person it's a terrible deal. You get one medium shrimp, one spicy shrimp, two very small blue point oysters, and one small crab claw. Menu reads it comes with a king crab leg. The waitress stated it didn't come with the tower, but it's on the menu. The lobster tail tasted like it was cooked the day before, it was tougher than a well cooked sirloin steak and zero flavor. Better to walk to the other side of the casino and spend your money at Taco Casa. read more

The first time I went here, I was impressed- especially the shrimp cocktail. The service is ok, the first time I had a good one, the second one, not so much only because of who I was with because the server was looking at me in a bad way and I was just minding my own business with my fiancé. My fiancé wasn't too pleased on that. read more

Lobster cargot is now in a shallower dish at the same price. I'll admit before it was a respectable amount of lobster but now the lobster is smaller in the smaller dish. I hate inflation deception like 64oz OJ going to 52oz at the same price! read more

Hate to write this but.... Came for a celebration to grab a pair of steaks, drinks and laughs! First, the serving staff was great and attentive. I ordered the Prime Ribeye medium rare and my buddy ordered the filet. Unfortunately the ribeye felt like it had no seasoning (not even salt or pepper) and although was pink was also dry which overall was weird as ribeyes usually pack flavor and moisture. Upon telling my server she recommended an aged steak instead. Upon receiving the aged steak, the steak was definitely more tender and juicy but still lacked a sense of seasoning and flavor. Overall the drinks were good and the atmosphere pleasant. With leftovers in hand I dropped the steak at home on a pad of butter and the steak was alive again.... I will come back but order something not a steak... read more

We are here this past weekend for first time and the food was really good except for my husband sirloin which was tough but my steak would melt in your mouth . Waiter was really nice and on top of everything the only complaints is the sirloin steak and the fact they give you an iPad with other items on it , come on really just put it in the menu . read more

This place is ok, but for the money you spend it's not worth it. My steak was tasteless and so dry. No flavor in the steak at all. I can say the side were good, I had the mushroom risotto and asparagus. I would not recommend if you want a good steak. read more

What can I say...this place was AMAZING! Located right in Winstar, by the hotel and resort resort building, we had to try it! This place only takes reservations, so tell your Host to reserve for you. Our host is amazing, her name is Kelly, and she got us in! She also was so sweet and got us a voucher for a free chefs dessert. We always go to Winstar and have heard great things about Kirby. When we came, we came 30 min before but they still sat us down. When we came the host there was kinda rude she said "do you have a reservation!", like not even a hello or how can I help you. She was blonde, Caucasian , not very nice. She sat us down, and our waiter greeted us immediately, he was a fast talker too. I think he got the idea somehow we only Wanted entrees? He was taken back by how much we were ordering, I wish he kept an open mind. I had to keep interrupting him saying "and also-" when he thought I was done. We ordered the fried asparagus, cheese dip with bread, oysters, fried pickles, friend calamari, as our appetizers. The fried asparagus was delicious, just too big in our opinion. The cheese dip was AMAZING! It came with thin crunch bread, so gooooood! The oysters were disappointing...not plump or big. The fried pickles were succulent and crispy' I enjoyed them. And the Calamari was amazing too, not too chewy. For dinner we had the plank salmon, creamy, and delicious. I had the king crab, I like how they de-shelled it for me! It came in a bowl of butter, wow so good! And I had a side of lobster risotto, PLEASE GET THIS U WONT REGRET IT. I'm a fan of cheese and man it was so CHEESEY AND yummy. And corn too! My brother had the wagyu steak, rare. He said it was THE BEST STEAK HES EVER HAD!!! Melted in his mouth. Overall I can't wait to be back! Th Kirby! read more

We dined at Mickey Mantle's, but food was from Kirby's. It was my husband's birthday and they already had a table reserved for us, which made him feel so special! We ordered drinks, and the Basil Hayden Rye Old Fashioned was amazing! We started off with the cheese curds, lightly fried with more cheese than batter, which is what I prefer. Again, delicious! Then of course I ordered a steak complete with sides. My steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection! So juicy and tender and accompanied with some mashed potatoes. The potatoes were not bad, but with the steak as fantastic as it was, and other mouth watering sides (mushroom risotto) available; I think they could have left them off or offered them a la carte. My husband ordered the sea bass complete with sautéed green beans, and was not disappointed. He ate every last bite and I helped myself to his green beans. We also ordered the mushroom risotto, and I will order that next time as my meal! It was so creamy with just the right amount of cheese and mushrooms. Yum! We can't wait to go back just for that one side! All in all: we loved it, and we will be back! read more

First off Justin was amazing as our server! He explained the menu in detail and gave recommendations with great detail. First off based on him we had the lobster cargo, boy was he spot on. Then for the entree I went with the cowboy ribeye and this man is 2/2 so far. The steak was aged and just melted in my mouth and I would have to rank it in top 3 I have had so far. This overall was a pleasant dining experience! read more

For a fine dining steakhouse this is the lowest atmosphere that applies. They play music in the restaurant that is played in the casino, I wanna pretend I'm not in the casino. That's the whole point. Where's the soft jazz?! I feel like whomever developed this restaurant has never actually been to a high end restaurant. They need to get to Vegas ASAP and experience fine dining in a casino. read more

Impossible to get in. You can wait in line but you still won't get in. The line gets you into Mickey Mantels which is a sports bar next door, a very nice sports bar but a sports bar, not an upscale steakhouse. Ones inside Mickey Mantels you can order off of the Kirby's menu and pay high dollar steakhouse prices to eat it in a sports bar but pay the same. It's a shame because Mickey Mantels is a place I actually would love go to catch a game, have a beer and enjoy the typical sports bar affair but you can't because everyone has to wait in the line for Kirby's that just eventually (after a very long wait) funnels them into Mickey Mantels instead. Out of the 15 times I have waited in that line I have only made it into Kirby's one time, ONCE! Once inside it was lack luster to say the least, definitely not worth the hype or the wait. I have even tried making reservations a head of time and have Ben unsuccessful. I can get into all the major top steakhouses in Fort Worth and just call ahead maybe an hour and get a table (Capital Grille, Grace, Del Friscos, etc) No problem! read more

I have eaten at many fine dining steak houses, we ordered an $80 steak. When the steak came out it was dry and overcooked for a medium done steak. It tasted like a hamburger steak with no gravy. I immediately let the waiter know which was more then apologetic but the manger came out and was rude. We got the remake and it was raw in the middle. It was not a good restaurant and the management lack the skills to run a good restaurant. Will not being going back here read more

We made reservations for Mickey mantles bar as it is part of Kirby's. We always ask for a booth and never had a problem getting one. There was an empty on when we were there and were told that was for a large party. The service was very good from our waiter but I thought the price was bad for what we got. No one sat at our booth for 40 minutes into our meal then one women was seated there. We complained to management and we're told we were late for our reservation and he did us a favor by seating us. We were 5 mins past the deadline. The problem is that management doesn't have the customer knowledge to think on their feet. The high school kids that seat you or the host only know what they are told. Always enjoyed coming here while at the casino but when they act like they are doing you a favor just to let me in we'll no thanks. I don't need your favor. read more

Bisque served then entree served right after. So I couldn't finish my lobster bisque. I had a near full bowl of bisque wasted. I was like just take it away... To say I was annoyed was an understatement. My daughter, 8 years old, ordered cheese fries. They were served without cheese. The server had my daughter scoop with her hand off the plate to have the fries go back to the kitchen for the cheese. I was appalled. My daughter also ordered a cheeseburger. It was so large, she couldn't bite into it. They should've known to cut it in half. We then ordered dessert. The creme brulee was amazing. My daughter ordered the tres leches chocolate cake. It was dry and not good at all. She would not eat it. My husband called to complain bc I didn't want to make a scene with my daughter bc we were celebrating her show that night. They offered a comped lunch the next day. They aren't even open for lunch... I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. read more

Want to commend the Kirby's WinStar team for an awesome experience on Monday August 15th. It was a repeat visit but worthy of a review. Abraham, professional server, recommended a Chef's special shrimp appetizer that paired perfectly with the Roquefort beef filet that followed. Oh and the Chef's special mushroom soup with beef tips - awesome. The whole meal couldn't have been better prepared or presented more perfectly by the whole dining room staff. Also wanted to call out Alan from the host team, who accommodated a special seating request - and who over the last few months was performing host duties while wearing a boot on his foot due to an injury. The boot is gone but definitely a sign of a trooper to stay positive and professional throughout. Can't wait to be back! read more

Absolutely terrible experience from a "signature steakhouse" - hostess greeting us with "Yes?" instead of a normal guest salutation like "Hi, how can I help you?" - reservation clearly noted that it was a special occasion - not communicated to the server, never got her name - server literally touched the bottom of her shoe and straightened out her pants while going over the evenings specials - drinks were refilled by other servers and it was not busy. I'm a former server and can absolutely empathize when someone is "in the weeds" and she was not. Sweet as can be, just not very attentive - entrees we're extremely overpriced and they "forgot" the surf on our surf and turf - "creamed spinach" was just wet spinach leaves - we're not drinkers, the tea was old and tart The good: - the turf 3 - 3oz tenderloin tips was cooked to perfection and delicious - we revd a complimentary dessert for celebrating our special occasion with them - we split a wedge salad and it was split into 2 plates for us - nice ambiance Definitely not steakhouse notable in any way. My husband and I both agreed the hop a few ways down at Winstar would've been a better experience. Would not recommend or revisit. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant. We were really looking forward to trying it, but were very disappointed. The steaks were dry, the asparagus was under cooked, and we were served rice cooked in broth that was supposed to be risotto. I've honestly had better meals at Texas Roadhouse for a third of the price. We didn't even eat the rice. read more

We ate at the Mickey Mantle side of the restaurant. It's not listed on here because Kirby's Steak House owns it, but it's a separate restaurant. First off, as a big Mick fan and Yankees fan, this place was awesome! I absolutely loved the lay out of the place and all the nostalgia. I had an old fashioned and my wife had a martini, they were both made and presented well. We also had fried mushrooms as our appetizer, they were gone within minutes. We both had the steak and lobster, it was a special not on the menu. I had the jalapeño soup as my side, and it was perfect. I don't know if I have had many better steaks. This place lived up to the Mickey Mantle name and hit it out of the park. read more

I have to start by saying this is one of the best steaks we've had for ages! Whilst visiting Winstar for the night we decided to have dinner here and being a Monday it was really quiet, but we sat at the Mickey Mantle bar want husband is a huge baseball fan and wanted to look at the trinkets. Our server was really nice and efficient and knowledgable about the menu. We started with the fried mushrooms, which were delicious and a huge portion. We each had a cocktail which were both good and the server said there was a mini surf and turf special which is what we both decided to try as our main. We are so glad we did! It came with either a soup or salad. I had the salad which was nice and hubby had the jalapeno soup which he loved. The steak we both had cooked medium and it was perfect. The lobster was also cooked so well and it came with a baked potato, which we had loaded. All of the food tasted amazing and after trying all the other restaurants in Winstar this is definately our favourite! read more

Kirby's Steakhouse - Steak, lobster and baked potato - Steakhouses Near Me - Thackerville, Oklahoma

Soooooooo disappointed. This was a super bipolar meal. Parts were amazing. The important parts were not good at all. The good: the girlfriend got the surf and turf special and the lobster tail was amazing. They remove the meat then serve it scampi style back in the tail. It was amazing. The lobster risotto was great. The bad: poor service. Waiter seemed to forget about us multiple times yet it wasn't busy in the restaurant. Her filet was cooked properly but had ZERO flavor. Should you want steak sauce on a 70 dollar steak? My t-bone was just average at best. It strangely reminded me of a T-Bone I had recently at Denny's. This is not a compliment when my steak was 50.00. We won't be back. I recommend you go spend your 80.00 per person somewhrere else. read more

We booked reservations for each of our two nights stays at Kirby's. This restaurant is incredible. I love it! My first dinner night I ordered a dinner salad and my entree as a delicious filet and baked potato. Stefan was our waiter and the food and the service was out of this world. Our second dinner night I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and John was our outstanding waiter. Another absolutely delicious meal and both John and Stefan waited on our table. Incredible service and I wish we had a restaurant with this high level of service along with the food in Austin. read more

Sat us in the corner under an air vent and I kept sneezing. The air vents extremely dirty and dusty. We ordered the tomahawk steak and lobster. The lobster was soaked in a thick scampi butter sauce which tasted horrible. The best thing about my order was the baked the potato. They tried to make it up by comping the dessert and one of our drinks. The server was excellent. She did everything possible to make sure we were okay. The manager told us we got "the special" and that's why our lobster tail was covered in sauce. Huh??? 150.00...hmmmm discount? Uh ok. The next time I'll make sure I don't get a "special" for 150.00 totally our bill to 250.09 at the end. This place sucks and should be embarrassed to call themselves a steakhouse. read more

We had hands down the best meal we have ever eaten along with top notch service. Our waitress, Jessica Hughes, was excellent. She made sure we never had empty drinks, didn't rush us at our table, food was piping hot and delicious when it came out. The host was a little snooty, the bar staff was constantly coming and going with the bar being left open quite often. I was on a corner of the bar and I got bump multiple times by bar personnel even though there was over 4' behind me. The shrimp cocktail was good but definitely not great. The mashed potatoes were very good, the salad was pedestrian, the steak was good but definitely not $67 good.
