Chili Relleno plate. Tasted very good but the world order was delivered.
Jim J.

Located in Winstar Casino. Concert night so we decided to grab a bite to eat in a very crowded casino. Walked to hostess station and they said it's first come, first seated but then said there were no seats but we could sit at the bar. Found two seats at the bar with four sides of seats, about half full. One bartender handling all these plus making drinks for the restaurant dining area, she tried hard but the service was slow, disorganized and below par. After 20 minutes, I ordered the Chili Relleno plate and my wife ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. Everything looked and smelled good and for the most part tasted good too. I ordered my relleno with beef inside but the one I received was filled with cheese. It took me 10 minutes before the bartender showed on our side of the bar and I explained the issue. She said she wondered when the lady on the other side of the bar returned hers because it had beef instead of cheese in it. She offered to replace it but I declined, we couldn't wait another hour for the food. The shrimp was good, especially the two sauces they served with it. Good sized shrimp, crispy bacon wrapped and well cooked shrimp. Chips and salsa were very good and the queso's was outstanding. One star off for service and one off for the incorrect order.

Very good Mexican food for Oklahoma I love the salsa here and now take home chips & salsa anytime I visit Winstar They only serve pozole on the weekend and was happy the grab an order for the first time. The amount of pork & flavor was exactly what my taste buds ordered!!!

Smokin hot fajitas

I need to borrow another star for this place. It was excellent and that is coming from a guy that does not normally choose Mexican restaurants. The servers at the bar were Pride and Isa and they were always checking on and taking care of us. The chips and salsa were off the charts. Could have made a meal just alone. My bottle beer was great and my wife's frozen mug of draft was just what she wanted. I ordered the beef fajitas and they were the best I have ever eaten and I mean ever. They were smokin hot and all the extras couldn't have been fresher. My wife had the enchiladas and loved them as well. Can't wait to come back for more.

I was so pleased with this restaurant! It's located in Winstar casino and like other people said it replaced El Fenix. I love that they renovated it- the new decor is so nice and transports you to a place like Tulum! What really won me over were there steak fajitas. The smell alone makes you feel good inside but the taste- it's so juicy and well seasoned! And just a couple of pieces will fill you up! I wasn't the biggest fan of their salsa for chips because it's very cumin heavy but I still ate a bunch. Our waitress was attentive and kind and brought out an awesome dessert since I told her we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Even though we didn't gamble at the casino at all- just visiting this restaurant and eating the yummy food was a prize all in itself!

Enchilada Soup, Birria Tacos, swirl and modelo

Grabbed two seats at the bar after a short wait and so glad we did! Beer was cold, swirl was great! Hubs had the Birria tacos, I chose the enchilada soup, both were great! Salsa was a little Smokey and fresh! Will definitely make this a regular spot on concert nights at WinStar!

Chris and I were excited to try this place so we had to stop by on our way home from our cruise. I love Birria Tacos so I ordered that while Chris had the Pork Carnitas. We sat at the bar for quick seating and faster ordering. The bartender was quick and very efficient. My tacos were meaty, the tortillas were crunchy and the consommé was tasty! Chris carnitas was equally delicious. It was a lot so 2 can actually share one order. Both orders came with Spanish rice and refried beans. The place is huge, very inviting and looks elegant! I was very intrigued by the huge cactus plants. They looked so real until I touched them. Lol

On our way to Dallas so stopped here for dinner. Finally got a server to wait on us. I ordered beef and a chicken enchilada and wife ordered tacos. Several big issues. First, server didn't check on us. Second, I clamped down on a bone in my chicken (see picture). I quit eating then. Only ate about 10% of the plate. Another server (a guy) dropped our $40.66 check off and started to walk off. I pointed out the bone on the table and he just kind of shrugged and blew it off. He should have cared enough to see I didn't eat my plate and deleted it from the bill. Nope - he couldn't care less. Brought back our card with the full 40.66 charge. The food was mediocre at best. The service sucked and the fact I found a bone in my food was the icing on the cake. We will never go back. Advice - if you eat here, check your chicken dishes for bones.

Combo fajitas

Great service. Here for a concert and decided to get an early dinner. Glad we got there early. Line was long when we left. Food was hot and fresh. The combo fajitas were wonderful. Salsa was good. Guacamole was surprisingly tasty. We will 100% eat here again. I am really picky on Mexican food and I was very impressed.

For president's weekend, I got a 50 dollar food voucher, plus $300 dollars worth of free play for that day. I decided to go to Winstar since I really did bad at Choctaw. I saw that the line at Kirby's was pretty long and at that time I really wanted to head home as Union Mesa did not have a wait. I decided to try the new Tex-Mex restaurant. Outside and inside they did a great job as it looks really fancy and nice. I got seated right away and I got the menu. Expect high prices than normal as dishes range from $15 to $25. I ended up ordering Guacamole ($12), birra tacos ($20) and street steak tacos ($18). Service was great as I got my food fast and friendly. I got my chips and salsa. Chips were meh as it tasted old and the salsa was just okay. I did not finish the basket. The guacamole was great, but the portion was too big, I ended up taking it home. The birra tacos was great as the meat was moist. The rice was dry did not finish it and the refried beans were good. The street tacos I took to go and I had it for lunch. The server gave me chips and salsa to go which was great. Overall service was great, the food was pretty good. I would come back if I had a voucher, but I probably eat somewhere else if I had to pay for my own money.

The food and service is great, the margaritas not so much. They're expensive and don't have much tequila flavor.

Food is true Mexican , not Tex-Mex. Taste is very bland. Service was good. Price was high. Not on my " A" list.

It's rare to find people who combine professionalism with such a personal touch. On top of that, the food is outstanding, the jalapeño poppers, brisket enchiladas, and chili rancheros are especially delicious. I would confidently recommend them to anyone.

It is a neat place inside but that doesn't overcome the shortcomings. I had Mexican food many times in the last couple days so I opted for the jalapeño peach pork chop. It was honestly tougher than leather- I really needed a sawsall to cut it. The flavor was fine. I knew I was in trouble when it arrived with a couple Libby's peaches fresh from the can sitting on the pork chop. My sides were tasteless mashed potatoes and steamed, mushy veggies. Chips and salsa, average. Queso with flavorless ground beef, average. My son had the birria tacos which were good. Not great by any stretch- it wasn't a traditional recipe and didn't have the traditional Oaxaca cheese. They used cheddar or another orange cheese. He said "good", I will call them "average": He ate all of the rice so it must have been decent. I didn't try a margarita but the ones I saw looked pretty typical for such a place big glass and probably average. I wouldn't eat here again. $50 for 2, no alcohol and I had water. We did get an order of Queso. There has to be better Mexican places than this nearby.
