This is by far the best restaurant in the Windstar. We love this place. The vine is Sports style and the place is clean as a whistle. We usually sit at the bar and we enjoy watching how hard the staff works to make the service great. I ordered the French Dip. Lots of food and way more than I could eat. It was delicious. We also shared a salad that when split was more than enough for an app. My wife ordered a burger and loved it. The fries are memorable here. Made a reservation as we were there for a concert. We've eaten here before and liked it. We showed up and then were told to go to the 'extended location' down the hall. Excellent venue (maybe better than the bar location). It's roomier and a bit quieter than the other location. Food outstanding. Burger perfect. Wings excellent and big! Awesome experience. Happy hour margaritas are $7. So I had two Boyfriend had the Chugg Norris beer which was good. Fried pickles were also on happy hour so of course we ordered those because I love pickles. The are sliced chips that are fried and delicious. I had the New York Wings, they are great! Buffalo sauce on the side as well as blue cheese. Boyfriend also approved because he hates messy wings and these were perfect because they automatically come with the sauce on the side so you get both options! He has the French dip. January 21,2026 We visit Windstar every 3 months. We love stopping at Mickey Mantle's Bar and Grill because of the convenience and excellent service we receive. Today at 3:30 my wife and stopped in for a drink. Our bartenders were amazing. {Allison & Amber I believe} We decided to have dinner here with our neighbors. (the 4 of us drive up here quarterly for fun ) We met our friends at the hosts desk at 5:30 to see if we could eat dinner there. (we hadn't planned ahead and made a reservation ) Lilly said there weren't and openings, but Lilly was super helpful and said, "let me see what I can do to get your group seated." Needless to say we were seated 10 minutes later. Amazing customer service.!! (lucky to) Dinner : We all had the Steak & Shrimp entree from the "happy hour" menu. ( buy 1 get 2nd 1/2 off ) Our primary waiters were : Joni and Katelyn. This establishment operates on the "team" concept. The whole team works at making sure you have an outstanding experience. It was a very enjoyable dinner experience! ... I asked to see the manager. I complemented Alycia on how well the team concept seemed to be working. Special shoutout o Drew. My family and I came to Winstar while we had guests in town and decided to grab some drinks and watch the hockey game. We didn't have reservations but were able to get a table within 15mins or so of waiting. We sat at a hightop table and had a perfect view of the game. We ordered a round of drinks, which everyone enjoyed as well as some appetizers. The lobster cargo was good but very heavy as expected. It even comes in an escargot tray with bread to dip in the sauce haha The chips and dip that we got were about average with any other restaurant. We also got a basket of bread and butter as well. We had great service, didn't feel rushed during our time here and enjoyed our food. I would say that it's one of the better food options at Winstar! I would eat here again. read more

We had a $100 voucher to use at the casino and it was between Mickey Mantle's and Kirby Steakhouse. We opted for Mickey Mantle's because the steakhouse only had dinner hours and was still in prep mode. Host desk, we waited in line for about 20 minutes. I'm not sure as to why because when we were led to our seating the place was not packed. I'll chop it up to short-staffed. Our server was super attentive and sweet. She was ready with refills and any request we needed as were nearby waiters on duty. The environment was dark but inviting, very clean, and relaxing. Starter: Sourdough bread and butter, I am not a fan of sourdough bread but it was freshly baked and soft so I'm sure any other guest would have greatly appreciated that! Appetizer: Dip Duo $13 we decided to add the Salsa for an additional $2 The chips were slightly seasoned and not greasy at all which are my favorite types of chips. The Juan's Cheddar Queso was my favorite and had a little spice which I loved because the salsa and the guacamole were lacking. The guacamole was just avocado so don't expect to find any onion, tomato, or jalapeno in that mixture. Entree 1: Steak Skillet $29 6ox Beef Tenderloin Tips, grilled and served in a cast Iron Skillet with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Served with Texas Toast and HIckory Aioli. --I ordered my beef medium and they were well seasoned and grilled to perfection. I appreciated the amount of beef served in comparison to the grilled veggies. I'm so used to the peppers and onions that my excitement over the mushrooms was giddy. The Hickory Aioli was delicious it had a spicy bbq hint to it but very nice choice as a dipping sauce for my meal. Happy with how they served it in a side dish and did not spread it over the meal. Wish I had taken a picture of Entree #2 The Club Sandwich $19 but let me tell you it was delicious and massive! The Club Sandwich came double layered with black forest ham, turkey, bacon, swiss, smoked cheddar, lettuce, notion, tomato, avocado, and chipotle mayo. ---This sandwich was served hot and with a side of fries. Decided to grab something to eat while at the casino and decided to try this spot. Let me begin by saying that the hostess let us know that Kirby's (adjoining restaurant) was fully booked however they share a menu, but we needed to get in line and want as it's a first come, first serve. Stood in line for about 15 minutes and was seated at a table. The waiter stopped by, took our drink orders and we started with an appetizer. We ordered the duo dipper (queso & guacamole with chips and paid extra for the salsa). I asked the server about portion sizes as I was going to share a meal with my sister. He said it was shareable so she got the chicken parmigiana and I told him I would share it with her. So we waited about 15-20 minutes and the appetizer comes to the table. I hate to say something is nasty but this was HORRIBLE! The chips were greasy, some were darker than others and sadly there were lots of mushy chips. The chips needed to be salted and there was no salt available on the table. No problem right, however our waiter was also no where in sight. The queso was meh, the salsa was watery and the guacamole was decent but when everything else was nasty it's hard to pay almost $20 for chips and dips. I flagged down another waiter and he kindly removed it from the table and our ticket. We waited about another 30 minutes or so for them to bring out the entree (I was able to go to the hotel, ask a question and use the bathroom and the food still hadn't come out) . The portion was small for $25, the chicken was dry, it was oozing grease and felt like it had been microwaved. This was a horrible experience - a luke warm draft beer was $8, overall the meal was over $45 and it disappointed to the max. I will never (and I do mean NEVER) waste my time here. Sadly the lady who ordered her food to go, came in before us and ordered 3 appetizers and was still waiting when we left - basically she waited over an hour and then she was informed that dine in order take precedence over take out food. Food Was Excellent, Except For the Squid Two negative points stand out for my review of Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse inside the Winstar Casino and Resort: long wait and over-reused cooking oil. Our wait was more than an hour, more like an hour and a half. I understand that it was a Saturday night, and the casino was busy. But my rating of four stars is not because of this. It is more because the oil that was used for the Potato Chip Crusted Calamari had already been used many times, thus rendering the dish to be darker than usual. Moreover, the calamari was overcooked. Perhaps, the chef had forgotten about it when he dropped the squid in the fryer. Overall, however, the experience was pleasant. We had bread (comes standard), the wife had French Onion soup while I had the Soup of the Day (Broccolli Cheese) and we shared the 24 oz. Prime Cowboy Cut Ribeye steak. All the above, except for the Calamari, was cooked to perfection, and we had a great evening. Next time, I would probably reserve in advance to prevent having to stand in queue for so long. We were offered to sit at the bar early but paying the same price for dinner at the bar is just not the same as a table. read more

One person had peppered lamb, one had the filet, and I was the unlucky one and got the salmon. The first bite of the salmon tasted like someone had dumped a salt shaker on it. I hate complaining, but had no choice in this case. The manager tasted it as well and frankly spit it out. They tried service recovery by recooking my meal. After waiting 28 minutes, I finally gave up and said we were leaving and I would get something somewhere else. The wait staff was very nice and apologetic and did not charge me for my meal. It was just a bummer to see the other two in my party enjoy a meal when I had nothing. I expected so much from the resort and left with a salt lick taste in my mouth. Happy hour is the way to go. It's from 3 to 6 Monday through Friday and self seating at the bar. Dirty martini was excellent with three blue cheese olives for $7. waitress spilled glass of wine on my 89 year old stepdad and friend. he was soaked. accidents happen no problem. she replaced the wine and then charged for it at end of night. I told her I would expect it to be comped and she responded that she comped the first glass , meaning the one she spilled which was full. Good portion and I believe the best thing I ate this day. Bread was fresh and served with whipped butter. The French Onion soup had both adequate cheese and was crisp on the rim. Tried this place during a girls trip to Winstar and it was very lackluster. I ordered a virgin pineapple Paloma and the Mickey Mack and cheese with shrimp. The drink was okay, nothing spectacular. The Mac and cheese was terrible. It comes with fried onions on top and has a bad after taste. You also have to add shrimp for $9 and only get 2 shrimp for that price. I spoke to our server regarding this and he said he'd get me more shrimp. I cancelled the extra shrimp because it was taking so long that I had finished eating. Service was pretty slow on a Tuesday evening without a good reason for it as far as I could tell. We ordered three desserts thinking they were individual size, but two could have served three people and one was in fact individually sized. Server said nothing about the size which would have been appropriate. Drinks were expensive but very small in size. My old fashion was very good but only half filled the glass and half of that was displaced by a giant ice cube. $21 glass of wine occupied about an inch in the bottom of the glass. Worst alcohol value since Brennen's in New Orleans. I'm giving this 3 stars because of the slow service and the poor drink value. Improve these two things and I'll give it 5 stars as long as you realize you're buying a $60 18 oz ribeye (which imho was worth it). read more

Where do I start. We made reservations 3weeks ago for my daughter's bday. We were staying at the casino sat and sun and our reservations were at 8pm. We love winstar and are elite members and they made this reservation for us but, when I tell you what a disappointment it was, Is an understatement. We started off on a high note with getting in on time on a Saturday night and were greeted by Amanda(who was fantastic). We were told when we made the reservations that they would provide a dessert that would be specially platec for our daughter. We typically chose Mickey mantles because we like to get in and out and reason we go is to gamble and breakaway for a great meal. Last night was awful. We understand there are multiple servers and not typically an issue but yesterday was awful. I went to the host prior to finishing our meals and wanted to ensure they had my daughter's bday noted. They apparently didn't but she said she would take care of it. As we were finishing and our second incompetent server Haley walks up and asks, do you want dessert? I was like no and told my husband to go figure out what the disconnect was. He walked up to Haley and said hey what happened to the element of surprise and she told him well I didn't know what you wanted. He told her to bring whatever you typically bring. She then walks up to the table to set it up for dessert without a dessert in hand and my daughter was like we didn't order one. Haley then had the audacity to tell my girls that their father was mad at her and yelled at her. Who does this and not to mention my husband isn't one to scream at anyone. I was sitting at the table and my husband in the bathroom when Haley made these comments to my girls and I about lost it. He walked up shortly afterwards and I told him so we decided to walk back to the host stand and ask for the manager. A lady first comes out and I started telling her what happened and then within a minute, a male manager named Josh Burr comes out in the middle of me already speaking to the lady manager. My husband noticed my frustration and anger so he took over and started to speak to the male manager Josh(I can't remember if that's his name but he was wearing glasses). My husband tried to explain that we were more upset about the element of surprise and how he didn't understand coming in to a fine dining establishment, that there would be such a disconnect when we took every avenue to ensure it didn't. Josh's response and mind you interrupted the conversation I was having with the female manager that was understanding, was to say that it's not fine dining. We are both in the business and understand it's not Kirby's but when you spend $64 on a steak, that it's a bit more upscale. He was like you will have multiple servers and it's a team wait. Great, then team wait and communicate. Is that so hard to ask for? He was smug and arrogant and my husband was like then you are failing and your staff isn't communicating. We told them when we made the reservation, walked out and told the host, I mean come on, we communicated so why couldn't you? If my husband and I were not restaurant managers and a gm of a restaurant, I wouldn't be writing this review but you all managed to ruin my daughter's 25th bday. What server insults her father to her face on her bday? Let me add that on top of everything that happened, Haley brings out the bday dessert while we were speaking to the managers, who does that? An incompetent server that has no clue about customer service and recovery. You guys need to get it together and I'm sorry Josh, you should have just let the female hear us as she was the only one apologizing. Oh Josh, you need to take a lesson from this. Oh dear Mr. Burr.
