Once again, I depended on fellow Yelpers to lead me to some yumminess. Our awesome waiter, Justin, suggested the "lobster cargot" as a starter. This dish included delicate lobster bathed in a butter and Parmesan sauce. The fresh bread brought to the table was the perfect accompaniment. As many Yelpers recommended, for my meal, I went for the sea bass and lobster risotto at this steakhouse, and I was not disappointed. The sea bass was cooked expertly seared on the outside and flaky on the inside. Both the fish and risotto were also seasoned to my tastebuds' delight. After dinner, I enjoyed the chocolate cake loaded with cinnamon and pecans. It was served warm with gooey icing and a side of super creamy coffee ice cream. I highly recommend this dessert :-) The restaurant is cozy and dimly lit - perfect spot for date night. Hands down, this was the best food I had while staying at the casino hotel. read more

Im writing to let you know my recent experience at Kirby's Win star was absolutely amazing. I knew I wanted a steak but not sure which I wanted. Our server Derek was amazing. His knowledge of the menu and his personality we just couldn't get enough of. We will definetely return as soon as we can. Thank you again for the best service and food! read more

I've been coming here for year and I've had many great meals here. My last experience was by far my worst. The staff is amazing, and they've proven it to me on numerous occasions over the years. The most important reason you go to a restaurant is the food, and it sucked our latest visit. One of our favorite appetizers used to be the lobster cargot. Now, it's always overcooked and rubbery. The king crab legs were also overcooked and my husband's burger was almost inedible. Luckily there's more options at Winstar and not sure I'll be going back to Kirby's. read more

My husband and I have always enjoyed Kirby's, but our experience this past weekend is one that ensured our continued return. Christine was phenomenal with her knowledge and recommendations for wine. Carlos tended to our every need, and made certain that we were enjoying our experience, while ensuring that we didn't feel rushed. The food was spectacular, and while we had a few disappointments with some of the preparation/timing, the grace and speed with which they were corrected eclipsed any dissatisfaction, and guaranteed our return. Thank you so much!! read more

My dinning experience was simply splendid. All of the food was served warm and in a timely manner. Not to mention my entrée was super flavourful however the lobster risotto stole the show! It was jammed packed with plenty of lobster and the risotto was cooked with the perfect consistency. Additionally, my waitress Jessyka was amazing, she was very attentive during our visit. In conclusion, if you're ever at Winstar I would definitely recommend making a visit to Kirbys Steakhouse! read more

We arrived a few mins late for our 7pm reservation as we had just driven up fr SA, checked into our room, gotten ready & rushed downstairs. Brooke greeted us at the desk & she was really nice. She wasn't worried about the few mins we were late & made sure we had a great table with an absolutely wonderful server! Natalie was friendly & made conversation w us as she walked us to our table. We were sat at a table for 6 with 4 chairs so there was plenty of room. Our server was Bailee & I feel like saying she was a fantastic server would actually be an understatement. She was friendly, fun to chat with & took the best care of us. Though she had other tables, she made us feel like we were her priority. We ordered the coconut shrimp & calamari for appetizers. I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side of the coconut shrimp in case you don't like it. It's good but has a spicy kick to it. We preferred the shrimp without the sauce. The calamari was cooked to perfection. It was crispy yet tender on the inside. Bailee brought out bread & butter. If you haven't had the bread at Kirbys you are missing out on a real reason to eat carbs! This bread is sooo good! (My youngest niece loved it so much that Bailee brought her a loaf w butter to go!) We enjoyed our salads & the mushroom soup was scrumptious! I'm not ashamed to admit that my niece & I made sure to get every drop of the soup out of the bowl that we could The okra was fried just the right amount of time. The Mac n cheese was creamy but it wasn't our favorite. I know that the onion strings on top are a garnish but they were soggy & chewy. We did love the mashed potatoes though. They were excellent. Our very rare filet mignons were all made perfectly! So often our steaks are over cooked but the chefs at Kirby's made our steaks exactly how we wanted them. Sear, flip, sear.... Chase it off the grill. Moooo..... Throughout our meal Christian & Jessica kept our drinks full. Considering how much tea my oldest niece & husband drank, that was a chore but they were on top of it & we appreciated that very much. We love Kirby's any time but this night we were celebrating my husbands birthday . Bailee was so thoughtful! She brought out dessert for him & even lit a candle for him. We love the creme brûlée at Kirbys! It is his favorite. She also took a photo of us for us! You name it, she took care of it. She went above & beyond in every way. This was a memorable visit w excellent service! Thank you to Brooke, Jessica & Christian! We appreciate you being awesome. Most of all, the star of the evening was BAILEE! She was an absolutely amazing server & we are so grateful! My nieces adored her so much that when we saw her a few nights later, I took a photo of them with her (& myself)! I'm looking forward to my next visit. This visit took place on June 8, 2022. I started my review but kept forgetting to finish it, add photos & post! I have reservations tomorrow evening w my mom. Hopefully, Bailee is working! read more

Katelyn was a fabulous server! She made our night so special! I would highly recommend Kirby's and ask for Katelyn to be your server.

Food was on point. My steak was cooked to perfection juicy and tender. Lobster Mac is a must and the fried mushrooms were delicious. Service was really good. Our waitress Katelyn was very attentive and friendly. Great ambiance. Highly recommended. read more

I planned a birthday trip and tried to make a reservation for over a month. I called multiple times in an attempt to reserve a table for a party of ten. I made a trip before the birthday trip and spoke to the general manager, Holly, in person, who told me that the person who handled the reservations, Aphtan Edwards, the Event Manager, is usually on top of things. Holly, the general manager, couldn't set up the reservation because she didn't know how. After many failed attempts, I was unsuccessful in making a reservation and didn't care to try anymore. It was evident that the general manager didn't value my business, so I will take it elsewhere. read more

This place had some top notch food and service! We had Thanksgiving dinner here as a family and spent the night gambling....bad idea on the second part. Great appetizers and salads and the main courses - steak and seafood. Very clean restaurant. They allowed us to bring a birthday cake in a provided plates and forks for us to enjoy. The waitress even cut the cake for us. Very kind waitres - her name was Kayla. We made reservation about 3 weeks out just in case! read more

Considering the restaurant is in an Oklahoma casino, I'd say it's a good choice. Our service was okay and all the food was excellent. We had the crab wontons, steak and cake, baked potatoes and desert. The portions were large and the food tasty. Yes, it's expensive. But you're probably going to lose a bunch of money, so don't worry about the prices! read more

I rarely give a 5-star review, but man this place was the best! My wife & I received a $100 voucher to Kirby's from Winstar, so we decided to go for our 16th wedding anniversary. We shared an 18oz ribeye with a lobster tail. The ribeye was perfectly cooked & seasoned. The bourbon steak sauce was the bomb! 2 Hornitos margaritas were some of the best I've ever had. To top off our meal, we were given a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. No complaints at all. read more

On August 15, 2021 I contacted Kirby's Steakhouse regarding the poor service we had in their Thackerville restaurant. I received a reply asking for my email address on August 17th and I thanked them for the reply and sent my email. Unfortunately I didn't hear from anyone so I messaged them back on August 27th and months later I still have never received a reply. I found a fly in my salad (still alive) and the waitress said "oh sorry ". She didn't even take the salad charge off our ticket knowing that it was not edible. I just felt like they didn't care and were ready to close up and go home. It's very disappointing that they have not even taken the time to apologize. read more

We wanted to come out dressed up for a nice fancy dinner. This place is just egh okay. the steak was amazing but the sides you have to pay extra for were just mediocre. And please don't get my started on service i just want to know how you have about 4-5 different waiters yet i had to ask for straws and a water refill twice and the only reason we got our bread was because she overheard me complain to my husband because 3 people got theirs before us that came after us. definitely not the place for us with the cost for bad service. read more

Kirby's Steakhouse - Crispy fried mushrooms! - Steakhouses Near Me - Thackerville, Oklahoma

First time at this location. The lady at the front was very adamant about me sitting on the Mickey Mantle side stating it's the same menu. My reservation was for Kirby's and the setting it totally different from Mickey Mantle. We get seated, our server was amazing and very knowledgeable. She showed us the Tomahawk Steak w/lobster tail. We ordered that, the shrimp cocktail, French onion soup. 1st let's start with the shrimp cocktail, plain, presentation was awful. It was sitting in a hunk of cocktail sauce. The soup was tasty (according to my husband) but had no broth in it. The steak was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor and the lobster tail was covered in a "scampi sauce" I had 2 glasses of Cabernet, 1 side car but I sent that back, the gingerbread rim make me think I was getting ready to see Santa! Waste of money. Will never happen again. read more

This was our first visit to Kirby's. Giving it 4 stars because the host staff are kinda rude and they were out of the first 2 wines we ordered. But beyond that, really solid. Server was really nice and attentive. Ordered our steak "pittsburgh" and they delivered on that. Great cut, too (10 oz filet). Their cinammon ice cream...wow. goes well with the chocolate cake and anough for 4 people. A nice quiet refuge from the crazy casino. A little pricey, too - use your casino credit here to ease the pain. read more

I've never heard of Kirby's but I was invited here to celebrate a birthday and a little bit of gambling. The place is small and it's not something you would expect from other steakhouses I've been to. If you want a more intimate, sit down dinner ask for the inner part of the restaurant. We sat close to the front door by the window and there's a lot going on. From people browsing the menu right outside and people just walking back and fort outside where the casino is. It is right in between the hotel and casino so it was expected to be really a high traffic area which I didn't mind at all since our group isn't really here to have a quiet, all professional type of dinner. Our table ordered a variety of food. Chopped salad, The Ultimate Burger with fries and onion rings, Cedar Plank Salmon , a couple of Prime "Cowboy Cut" Ribeye, Australian Rack of Lamb, Lobster Mac'n'Cheese Cheese, Lobster Risotto, a bottle of Cab, and a few cocktails. Started with bread and butter and their soup of the day( which has a really nice spicy kick to it. I can't account for the taste of my friends food but mine is good (I've had better) but I'm not a big complainer :p. The lamb is tender and that mushroom veal demi glaze is a nice complement. Lobster Risotto and Mac n cheese were also good. You can't really complain when you are with a great party. Service is great and friendly as expected from any steakhouses. It's a nice place to spend a couple hundreds whenever you hit that jackpot! ;) read more

My husband and I ate at Kirby's at Winstar for the first time on a Sunday. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff was excellent, particularly our waiter Derrick, he abides. He knows the menu, he took the time to make sure we knew all of our options for dinner and his recommendations were perfect. He also knows his wines!! We ordered 1 of the most modestly priced bottles of Cabernet and he knew all about the vineyard and the family that owns the vineyard. If you decide to eat at Kirby's ask for Derrick, he's a good man and thorough!! read more

My last visit to Oklahoma was a six-state Coronacation road trip in the summer of 2020 so it was great to be "home" again and out and about. My first visit to Winstar did not disappoint. After a day in the casino, hitting the happy hour drink specials, and indulging in Bedre fine chocolates, I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Kirby's Steakhouse. The redfish was delicious, perfectly baked on a cedar slab and slathered in a beurre blanc and encrusted almond/Parmesan topping. The loaded baked potato was huge and truly loaded with yum. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly to order and was tender and tasty. All of this paired nicely with a bottle of Pinot Noir. Our server, John, made the dinner even better with his friendly attitude and excellent service. I haven't been out to a really nice (and pricier) restaurant in a long time so this was a real treat. read more

Our trip to this steak house was horrible. We were so sad because we were so looking forward to it. We ordered French onion soup. It had so much pepper in it that it actually tasted spicy. Yuck. Then I got my steak and it was burnt. Literally tasted burnt. So they went to replace it. Brought it back out and the new one was rare. So they took it back to cook it more. Brought that one back out burnt and tasting horrible again. I would not waste your money. This place is very expensive and there are far better places to eat. They made adjustments to our bill but it was still almost $100. Not exactly what I would call good customer service. Manager never even came to talk to us. read more

Was looking forward to going back to Kirby's, was totally disappointed. Service has slipped. To what a outback steak house at best, the steak was so bad, fatty and gristle throughout that it was not edible. Gave up trying to get the waitress to complain, she only showed up with the bill. The two star is at least they took off the steak from the bill. read more

The hostess desk was unaccommodating. We made reservations for Kirby's but was seated in Micky Mantle's bar. Appetizer's ordered, calamari, the texture was rubbery. Entree ordered, a Caesar salad and the crab cake. The salad was okay, the $32 crab cake tasted like a bread stuffing with very little crab meat. Hard to rate the ambiance when you are seated in the bar for dinner. read more

This is genuinely the worst steakhouse I've ever been to. Outback Steakhouse makes this place look like a Burger King. Save your money and go gamble on the slots instead of gambling with the quality of this food. The lobster was fishier than frozen tilapia. The oysters weren't cold. The steaks were delivered lukewarm and the waiter didn't come check on their temperature until it had been ten minutes after we received the food. The au gratin was 75% mayo, as was the balsamic "vinaigrette" somehow? Like honestly that part kind of amazes me. The horseradish somehow had absolutely no spice to it at all, even when "freshly shaved." The drinks were weaker than a Shirley Temple. Please, save yourself. If you're reading this review you still have a chance to turn back. In all seriousness, this place is incredibly overpriced, and a failure of a steakhouse. Genuinely I can't comprehend how bad this meal was for a price point of $220. My wife and I would have gotten 20 times more satisfaction by getting the 2 Whoopers for $5 deal at Burger King. Save yourself and avoid this place like the plague. The 5-star reviews are questionable and some are clearly paid reviews and fake. read more

We had to dine at the attached restaurant called Mickey Mantles because Kirby's was seating Coustomer's with a reservation only, I was told both restaurants share the same Kitchen so no big deal the food was the same. Kirby's steak's are usually out of this world but today they missed the mark. I ordered Steak and Crab Cake, I'm not sure what kind of sauce the Crab Cake had but it was very good. The Steak wasn't as tender has it usually is and the flavor just wasn't there I'm not sure why. I really like this restaurant and I will give them another try, I think they might have just reopened because of the pandemic and it might take time to get back in the groove. read more
