Enjoyed an outstanding meal. The food was incredible and the service was even better! John was our waiter and guided us to one of the best meals we've had in a long time! I had the filet with bearnaise sauce. It was tender and flavorful. Baked potato was scrumptious. My husband had the lobster and raved about it. We had a cappuccino and creme brûlée for dessert. I can't wait to go back! read more

Been here four times, and every single time they've messed up our order. First time I ordered a medium rare ribeye, and got well done boot leather. 2nd time wife got wife got her lobster raw! Third time my steak was cooked fine, but had horrible flavor, and wifes medium rare steak was over cooked well done, then they replaced it with an obviously lower grade cut practically raw . My dad went with us this time, and everthing he asked for from the waitress he never got, waitress seriously acted like she was on drugs. She kept taking our plates from us before we were even done. This last time we ordered our appetizer guacamole, queso blanco, what they brought was litterly yellow cheese gravy, you could taste the flour in it, and it was definitely not white queso. We all (wife daughter, and I) ordered the "burger your way" we asked for medium, all of them came out well done to the second power. Ontop of that, every one of them were brought out incorrectly. I didnt get my bacon, and I asked for American cheese got cheddar. My daughter asked for grilled onions and mushrooms, she got neither. My wifes was plain she didn't order plain. The waiter this time was great though, none of it was his fault, and he tried to make it right, by getting us a free dessert, we turned down a meal voucher, because tbh we wont be going back to dine in. One thing I will give them their chicken wings are the best Ive ever had. I wont be going back. read more

The waiter was great. The lobster cargot amazing. Highly recommend. The salads that come with the steaks?? Lettuce and onions. Step it up and add some toppings. My 18 oz ribeye overcooked and dry. Sent it back along with my husbands 10 oz filet that was overcooked. Manager remade The steaks never came back to check on us. Didn't discount the steaks. The second steaks were better, but more medium rare. The only reason they get 3 stars is the appetizer, bake potato, bread and dessert were delicious. Not sure we will back. It's 50/50 if it will be good. I expect more from this place. read more

Ask for Lacie! If there is one thing you take away from this review it's the OUTSTANDING service provided by Lacie. She's knowledgeable, attentive, and considerate. Cramped dining room, Sysco quality steak, a waitstaff that clearly has never worked a higher end steakhouse and a grill team that has NO CLUE how to properly fire meat. Steak was definitely on the average side for a steakhouse. Lobster cargot was good and unique. Mashed potatoes we liked. Janet enjoyed the creamed chicken soup. I thought the Caesar salad was just fair, too little dressing. Our server Molly was sweet and did a fabulous job. Made the dinner a 4 star instead of 3 stars read more

Wasn't sure what to expect based on some of these reviews but our experience was fantastic. High priced for sure, but everything we had was very good. Appetizers came out really fast. Salads next. Main course felt like it took a little long but we were enjoying ourselves and the steaks were very flavorful and cooked perfectly so I'm good with it. Very glad we came here and will dine here again the next time we come to the casino. read more

Got 12 people in at the last minute, they were more than happy to accommodate us. The wait time for our appetizers then salad were way too slow for our liking. But, the food was great, steaks cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The sea bass was delicious and perfectly seared. The crab cake.....superb. Would come back. Was a good experience if not for the slow service early on in the appetizer/salad phase. read more

Took my son to Kirby's to celebrate being on Dean's list in college. I made it clear that I wanted the regular ribeye and not pay the extra $10 for the dry aged ribeye. The server definitely heard this and repeated my order to me before submitting it to the kitchen. I received the dry-aged ribeye and started to eat it. I found it OK, but not out of this world tasty...I didn't know it was the dry-aged ribeye. The server came out after I had eaten half the steak and explained that she switched it to the dry-aged steak because I would enjoy it more....I said thank you and thought I would be charged for the regular steak. She charged me for the dry-aged ribeye. I took this out of her tip at the end of the night. I also thought I made reservations for Mickey Mantle's as my son is a baseball player. We were seated at Kirby's and obviously disappointed with the atmosphere. read more

I read negative reviews and was Leary to go but I had a wonderful experience! I ordered the sea bass and risotto and my spouse got the 12 oz sirloin and potatoes au gratin ! It was wonderful! If you are going to charge $52 for steak and a crab cake, please do not keep them under a heat lamp to keep warm because you were understaffed and can't handle the crowd. We spent 20 minutes in line, waiting for a table, and once we sat down the service was subpar. There were 4 of us and all of our dishes were over cooked. We only sent back one because that was the most inedible one. Which only the steak was comped. We were overcharged for drinks and the manager did nothing about it, he argued with us that that was the way the price worked. I had the old fashion with Buffalo Trace and my husband had Buffalo Trace on the rocks. I was charged $9 for mine but he was charged $18? The manager literally argued with us, no one around actually understood. In reality we could have sent back all 4 dishes and they would've had to eat that cost, I now wish we would have. So, we left after paying a $200 tab, just for me and my husband, for a really bad meal. Never again will we step foot in this place, or any other related establishment. I was so disappointed, it was our anniversary. And instead that evening was compromised. You have to realize that you are considered a "high end" establishment, people pay for the experience as well as the food. And we pay a lot of money period considering your location. They failed, failed real bad.... read more

We dined at this location during a get away in mid November. We wanted a nice quiet, intimate dinner. It started out ok...we were seated promptly....although the tables/booths are really close together, which doesn't allow for much private conversation. I ordered a glass of wine and my husband ordered a beer. However,I wasn't crazy about IPad method of going through the wine list....(how do they clean those screens?) Our server appeared to be new, as there was a male sever who seemed to be shadowing her and she was trained well, as she tried to "upsell" us very often during the ordering process. We ordered the Lobster Cargot...which was probably my favorite thing about the meal. My husband ordered the ribeye..medium, and I ordered the filet mignon...medium, to which I added the "Oscar" option....topped with crab, asparagus and bearnaise sauce. We opted not to order any sides....since we had the appetizer, bread, salad that came with our entree's. Our steaks came and my husbands looked burnt, but was way undercooked for a medium. And it was barely warm. He said it was very "grisly" and tough. My filet was also undercooked and not hot at all.. the "supervising" server then came over and asked if we had ordered any sides...to which I replied no and he sort of looked down his nose at us!! Come on, we know what we want and DON'T want to eat! I had finished my meal and the server cleared my plate. However, my husband was still trying to finish and he had laid his fork down to take a drink of his beer and she swept in and cleared his plate! Don't expect to "linger" over your meal here! They must need to turn those tables quickly. And to top off our dining "experience", there was a large group seated in the private dining room that kept spilling over to the small main dining room and many of them had obviously "pre-partied" and were extremely loud! The staff made no effort to steer them inside the private room and close the doors! It was not a good experience for the $$$$ we spent! We will not be back! If you want to treat yourself to a special dining experience....I recommend Ruth Chris or The Capitol Grille in downtown Fort Worth!! You are treated like royalty at each place and have never had a bad meal at them either!! read more

My friend and I went to Kirby's steakhouse last week. I'm sorry it took so long for me to write this review. I needed to gather my thoughts and get over the events of last week before I wrote this. I'd like to start by saying that our server (Sabrina) was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She provided great suggestions and was very attentive without being overbearing. Also, the food is spectacular. Everything we had was wonderful. We ordered several appetizers and a bottle of wine and had an awesome meal. Definitely the quality and presentation that I would expect from a prime steakhouse. My reason for the two-star rating is two-fold: 1) My friend has a gluten allergy. We asked for the gluten free menu and ordered several items so that we could share. Everything came out and looked and tasted amazing. We ordered lamb chops and they came with a mushroom sauce on the plate. My friend asked the waitress to make sure the sauce was gluten free. Sabrina came back and told us that the sauce was made with a roux to thicken it. She told us that the sauce was NOT gluten free and apologized profusely. The lamb chops (on the gluten free menu) were sitting on the sauce which has gluten! I was extremely irritated by this. I understand if a fast food restaurant made a foolish mistake like this, but a high-end, prime steakhouse should be completely aware of all the ingredients of their "gluten free" menu. 2) My second issue is with how this incident was handled by management. Again, our waitress was great. She said that the managers (plural) would like to buy us a dessert. We aren't really sweet eaters and were getting quite full, so we respectfully declined the dessert. Sabrina removed the lamb chops from our bill instead of the free dessert. This was a very nice (and completely unnecessary) gesture. I ate the lamb chops, so we had no problem paying for them. Apparently, there were at least 2 managers on duty that evening. Neither one of them came by the table to check on the condition of the customer or offer an explanation or apology. Management decided that instead of addressing this serious issue that could be LIFE THREATENING to some people, they would stay in the back and have our waitress deal with it. Their solution to risking the health and life of a customer was to offer to buy us a slice of cake. Again, I expect this behavior from a fast food restaurant. But, a manager at a high-end, prime steakhouse should have much better customer service skills. My friend and I completely understand that mistakes happen. I'm so thankful that this happened to us and we were able to bring this issue to management's attention. My friend's gluten issue is not life threatening. Hopefully, they will take the necessary actions to ensure that this doesn't happen to anybody else in the future. I have a nephew who is quite allergic to a few things and this is a very personal issue with me. Again, I understand that mistakes happen, but when you make a mistake that could potentially KILL somebody, the least you should do is quit hiding in the back office and come out and make sure everything is okay! Just my opinion. read more

The ambiance is pretty nice, the service was excellent. I had the steak and lobster. My Caesar salad was good. Lobster hmm I've had better. The steak was not exceptionally favorable but was cooked exactly how I ordered it and it was not tough or chewy. No comparison to Bobs Chop house. My wife's chop salad looked like they borrowed it from Lubys. The food is overpriced. Not a horrible dining experience, but I will never return. read more

Been here multiple times & food & service are excellent. Oysters with mignonette sauce are great. I am not on oyster fan if too briney.....but a great mignonette sauce makes them awesome every time. Great steaks with a nice char on outside for flavor, while being a perfect juicy medium rare on the inside....which is ideal. Also loved their sea bass with lobster risotto. Great selection of signature drinks & large bourbon selections. Also if you can't get in, just go next door to Mickey Mantle's & you can get everything off both restaurant's menus read more

When we originally visited this location it was one of the worst experiences that we had had. I did end up talking to the manager and told him I would give them another try. I am glad that I did. For the original review please see the one I wrote on 4/10/2019. I called to make reservations for dinner on my fathers 85th birthday and got the time and date set. When we showed up they did try to put us in a booth right next to the kitchen but when asked if we could move to a table the hostess was very polite and took us to one. That was the only hiccup in the whole evening. Our waiter Cameron (ask for him, you won't be disappointed) welcomed us answered any questions we had, explained the wine list and cocktail list and got our drinks. When it came time to order he went through every special with us and when one of our party had a question about one of the dinners he answered it with knowledge that doesn't come naturally. He knew about everything regarding it and even talked about getting a side of the sauce for the mashed potatoes. He recommended a Berry Spinach Salad that I would rate up there with one of the best things I have ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. Our steaks can out perfectly cook and melted in our mouths, the sides were fantastic also. When it came time for dessert (still in pain after eating everything else) we got a couple and he even sang happy birthday to my father which was a nice touch. The assistant server did a great job with drinks on the table, and anything else we asked for. They definitely redeemed themselves. Unfortunately, due to the age of my father I don't know if we will be heading there again, but if we do, it will definitely be another night of good food and great service. Thank you Cameron for making the night special and a fantastic experience. read more

We made a reservation over the phone, the girl we spoke with was extremely rude. We arrived at 730 on Friday and the hostess, Ashley was not very nice, we specifically requested a booth and she sat us against the wall next to a ton of people, we tried to move to a booth that was open right in front of us but she said it was reserved? Even though we had requested one in advance. Mind you, it was our anniversary. It was very noisy but the food was excellent and our server, extremely attentive. I will say, The last time we came here was amazing, Anna is our favorite but this new hostess definitely ruined our anniversary dinner. A good meal includes a nice table. If you want a good seat in there you should probably speak to the GM about your reservations because she clearly has never hosted in her life or just doesn't care. read more

Finally had three days off to get out of town. We decided that we wanted one nice dinner while at the Winstar Casino. Waited in line for the bar side of Kirby's.. and was totally worth it. Started off with dirty martinis with their hand stuffed blue cheese olives, which were the very good. They did a great job on the crab cake appetizer and it came out super fast. Only downfall was the service wasnt the best even for sitting at the bar waiting an hour for our entrées...But to save the experience was the Sea Bass with Lobster Risotto. I still can not get over how amazing and impressed I am about the Sea Bass. It was cooked so perfectly. I definitely recommend trying it out. read more

Wow, not what my family was expecting. May have been one of my least favorite dining experiences in recent memory. For starters when the table next to you when you sit down is complaining about the speed of service I should have just picked up and left. However we stayed as not everything is always as they seem. However we sent back the lobster bisque, they delivered almost all the food orders incorrectly, and my glass of wine was delivered to me after my meal. Then to top it all off, the forgot to remove the charges for the items returned, charged me full price for a meal special I picked, and charged for an appetizer that was supposed to be complimentary. To add insult to injury not a single person of authority took the time to say they were sorry for anything. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. read more

Welp, a first for us. We've been coming to this place and Micky Mantles for years. No complaints. Last week we shared a prime 18oz ribeye that we both proclaimed was perfect, for not being made at home. We both thought it was the best we'd ever had at a restaurant. And we are a bit snobby when it comes to beef. This week, could not have been more exact opposite. We questioned whether it was a ribeye at all. It looked like one, size and shape. Until you looked at the meat structure itself. It was the absolute toughest meat cooked well at medium. Last week, butter knife tender. This week, use a saw motion and chew hard. We both gave up. Worst ever. And this was after the worst appetizer. If you are going to offer oysters on the half shell at a restaurant well known in Oklahoma, you would expect them to be premium, nope. At $30. Typical market. They were so tiny they didn't even fill the bottom half of a oyster fork! That set should have never been on the menu, should have never left the kitchen, ever. Quality disaster. Expensive and a complete failure. Makes us question ever coming back again. Consistency. Quality equate to value. Experience. Not this time. Don't know if problem in the kitchen even matters when the actual food is subpar. Not sure can ever be trusted. read more

I have very mixed feelings about Kirby's. It's a lovely place for a special occasion or a family dinner. We reserved a table for our large group, but we could barely move between our table and the others around us. This made for a rather uncomfortable dining experience. The seafood appetizer was amazing and more than enough for us to share. Steaks were great, as expected. However, the server spent the entire meal trying to "up sell." It was beyond annoying and insulting. When we declined the $200 bottle of wine and ordered the $150 bottle instead, we were met with disapproving looks. This treatment occurred with every course, and was so blatant and rude. I am hesitant to return. read more

I'm giving it four stars because sometimes the service is spotty. Last time I went I had some of the best service of my life. This guy was amazing. Heavy set guy with a beard. Manager is not professional. She will argue instead of trying to understand. That basically sums it up. However, to go in detail she tried to argue a steak is 85% fat.
